Karen Nixon looks at the lost pet posts and offers to help along with other volunteers at the Pet Detectives Team. They come to you with a dog on a leash, like Halo the white Swiss Shepherd, that can sniff your pet’s scent off a blanket or pet bed and follow the trail from where it left your home to where its hiding. Karen describes how this works and how cats and dogs hide differently.
