In this episode of Books, Kids & Creations, Tracy speaks with wildlife photographer and author Ursula Clare Franklin about her new book, Mission Penguin—a stunning, heartfelt journey to capture every species of penguin in their natural habitat. 🐧📸

I asked her, “Why penguins?”—and the story behind her answer is just as beautiful as the book itself. What began as a personal mission inspired by the loss of her husband turned into a powerful journey of healing, discovery, and purpose.

We also talked about how grief can lead us down unexpected but meaningful paths—I shared how losing my mom sparked my own spiritual journey, eventually leading to my first published book.

This episode is full of wonder, resilience, and hope. Tune in and let it warm your heart 💛
