The darkness of this intertwines like a spider's web of the thumping of that EDM-inspired anthem from Glasgow four-piece Mercy Girl. That's called No Sound and it's about trying to find peace in being alone while someone else still plays in the back of your mind. It was selected as Track of the Week by Phoebe IH, who was on this show last week.
Welcome along to the Six Music BBC Introducing Mixtape. It's Kerry Cosh in for Emily Pilbeam this week and over the next hour I've got a hand-picked selection of tracks supported by our BBC Introducing shows up and down the country. Now I can usually be found on the Three Counties and Northance instalment which is the home
of artists like Wonder Horse and Mary in the Junkyard, plus many more that you may know. Now, over the next hour, I get to dive into the best of bbc.co.uk forward slash introducing. That is where our uploader sits, and that is the place where artists can send their music. Now, first off, we head to Cumbria for an artist known as Elfjaw. It's the kind of music crabs would make, according to them. Their words, not mine. And I do feel the chaos and the frantic nature in this one. It's called Feral. Feral.
♪
Big fan of that sound. Elfjaw and Feral on the BBC introducing mixtape. If you are a fan of festivals such as Slam Dunk or Download, then please do look out for the next name because she's from Brighton and she is an artist that I think is going to rise through the scene very quickly when it comes to heavy music. Now, she has basically made a project based on the seven deadly sins and it's a chance for her to repent her sins for the world to see. And this next track is The Sin of Lust.

I just love the stomp element of that track but then also the fact that you get that magnetic pull when you go towards those heavier choruses from those lighter verses. I just absolutely am a huge fan of that tune and I think that being in our own lane is really serving Harpy so well. And
Up next is an artist from the West. Now, she's been supported by BBC Introducing in the West and she's from Gloucestershire. And this track just is a beautiful, whimsical exploration of the silence that can break two people apart. It was written off the back of Chloe Foy's 10 year relationship coming to an end. Chloe Foy, Elephant in the Room. It kind of reminds me of those early days of Coldplay. You know where life doesn't always go to plan, but somehow you turn on a Coldplay song and it would make you feel OK. That's exactly how I feel about that song. It's about a very sad ending, but at the same time, it makes you feel like there is much more on the horizon to look forward to. And we move on to an artist now who has been supported by Dean Jack.

It's Kerry Cosh on the BBC introducing Six Music Mixtape and I'm usually found on BBC introducing Northampton and Three Counties. And this is where I have discovered our track of the week. It is from an artist who defines himself as Afropop history.
He is an artist who was originally born in Nigeria. He came over to Northampton to study and he just never left the UK. And he's been sharing elements of his culture, elements of himself and how upbeat he is as a person. He's known as Great Adams and his real given name is in fact Great. So he is aspiring to some quite high things in life and high.
Hopefully you will enjoy the vibrancy and joy that he brings to his music in the same ways that so many people did when he released his Bless Boy album. Now, this song, Blessing Mogbe, is all about embracing moments in life where blessings might be around the corner, even though times are hard right now. This tune does nothing but lifts my soul in ways that I can't describe. This is Great Adams' Blessing Mogbe track of the week.

So much vibrancy from Grey Adams and there is plenty more where that came from. To make an album that is just full of uplifting songs, there is no sadness in it whatsoever. It's just a real skill to show where he is as an artist right now and how much he shows that gratitude in life for all the good things that are happening, no matter what is going on in the background.
You can catch him at Latitude playing on the BBC Introducing Stage. And I think he's going to be bringing every element of that joy with him because he has a full 99 band and they are incredible when you watch him live. He's got a saxophonist. He's got people who can really, really show their flair. And him as an artist, he's just incredible.
incredibly, incredibly present whenever he performs live. And from Great Adams to Gans, there is a two-piece from Birmingham who write music about love and hate. It's one of those songs that really excels in storytelling. He is an artist that truly is so detailed in his lyricism that he can paint a visual picture without you needing to see what the song is actually about. However, he has said with that in mind, Could Sin is about the pure carnage of it all. No matter how much I try to become an adult who has their life together, at the end of the day, the DNA is the DNA. Could Sin, but probably shouldn't. And I really like that message that he has behind him.
Somebody else who really encapsulates with their songwriting is Yorkshire singer-songwriter, Kinderlin. Now, Kinderlin is writing the first single of a two-part project called After Before.
