Did you know that more than 90% of internet traffic on your cell phone travels over Wi-Fi, not cellular? Wi-Fi carries 10 times the amount of data of all cellular networks combined, including 5G. Comcast operates the nation's largest and fastest converged wireline and wireless network, reaching 64 million homes and businesses. Learn more at comcastcorporation.com slash Wi-Fi. Here is your morning brief for Tuesday, February 25th. I'm Luke Vargas for The Wall Street Journal.

Tesla's sales in Europe fell 45 percent last month, according to data from the European Carmakers Association, with the EV maker selling fewer than 1,300 new vehicles in Germany, Europe's largest market.

CEO Elon Musk's support for German far-right party AfD in this weekend's elections could be one reason for the pullback, alongside a hangover from high sales the previous month, a revamp of the Model Y, and competition from legacy brands like Volkswagen.

Unilever CEO Hein Schumacher is stepping down less than two years after taking on the top role at the consumer goods giant. He'll be replaced by finance chief Fernando Fernandez. The surprise departure comes in the midst of a major turnaround effort to cut costs and step up volume growth while rebuilding profit margins.

And we are exclusively reporting that Anthropic, the startup behind AI chatbot Claude, is finalizing a new funding round that values the company at $61.5 billion. According to people familiar with the matter, Anthropic initially set out to raise $2 billion, but was able to increase that to $3.5 billion during talks with investors, showing how eager investors are to back promising AI firms despite the disruptive arrival of China's DeepSeek.

Asian stocks have ended the day lower. European stocks are edging up in midday trading. And U.S. stock futures are lower ahead of earnings from Home Depot and Keurig Dr. Pepper due out this morning. And we've got a lot more coverage of the day's news on the WSJ's What's News podcast. You can add it to your playlist on your smart speaker or listen and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts.
