‘The lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of life’ referenced in the Bible can also be termed, ‘Gold, Girls, and Glory’. The apostle John refers to these three things as the spirit of the world which constantly pulls on our eyes and flesh. What can we do to overcome these pitfalls of the Christian life?
