Hi folks, Sam Stone here. Welcome. Chuck is out of the studio for the moment, but we want to tell you about a big change to Broken Potholes. Broken Potholes is no more. Actually, it's just transforming. The moths are turning into butterflies. We're adding new markets as we speak. You can hear us this week all over Florida, but particularly in the Tampa-St. Pete area. We're going to be talking about the
We are always looking for new markets, so that's a new opportunity, but we're really focusing on these battleground states, Arizona, Florida. Let's not pretend Texas is a battleground state, even if the Democrats really, really, really want it to be. It's not. But we are changing up the formatting. We are changing up the program we have. You're going to be adding even more content to the podcast segment. So there is going to be more for you to download and listen to there.
and we are always looking for interaction. So, folks, if you go on our Twitter account, all those things, we're going to still have both. Right, Jamie? Oh, yes, we will. I dragged Jamie Kleschek onto the mic here. She is our digital guru. But you can contact us still at Broken Potholes. Do we have a new hashtag? Not at the moment. That is pending. Hopefully by the time they hear this, that will have been clarified. Okay, so, yeah, Twitter, get rolling here, people. I know you don't like our side of the aisle, but come on.
Are we on the new social network, Trump's network yet? We are not. But I am. You are. Yeah. You'll have to tell the people for me. Okay.
me. Okay. Well, we should get on Truth Social too. We can get on Truth Social. Yeah, we got to get on all this stuff, right? But folks, we're really, really excited. The program and our downloads, everybody has been tuning in. You've been downloading. We really appreciate it. We are taking this program to the next step, and I think we're all very, very excited about that. Kylie does not look terribly excited. The irrepressible Kylie Kipper looks like we have repressed her completely this morning. No, I'm very excited for this change. I think it's exciting and
Much needed. Now, it is good. I think it's going to be great. We are going to be focusing, obviously, a little bit more on Florida and Florida politics than we have in the past. We've always focused kind of between national and Arizona politics. We're going to be adding in Florida. We're going to be adding in a little bit more from some of the battleground states. And if there are folks out there that you want to have on our program that you want to hear from, please let us know, because I think this is a great opportunity to hear some new voices. If you are
conservative and you are running for office anywhere in the state of Florida, pester Kylie. Yeah, just DM us on social media. Okay, so they should just go on the broken, for now, the broken potholes. For soon, something else. We'll let you know what that is, folks. But go on there, DM us, let us know, because we are always looking for new voices on the program. And any other words today, Kylie? Kylie?
We didn't have any sunshine today, so I'm going to pick on you a little bit here. I was quickly looking for one when I found out that we actually had time, but did not come across one with all the news that's going on. So we're going to actually be putting this segment up before we air on our usual Saturday time slot. If you're listening, we will still be on at 3 p.m. in the Phoenix market, but we're going to be on at 10 a.m. every Saturday now in the Tampa St. Pete and across Florida.
And except on days when FSU football boots us off, then we get to follow them right in. So football fans, stay tuned. I mean that literally. Stay on the line. Don't disappear when that program ends. We're going to be more exciting than FSU football this year.
Oh, no, we're not. Yes, we will, I think. Are we? Yeah. Okay. We're going to have some great guests. I got to tell you, in the state of Florida, that's a big, big promise to make. That is. You're right. I'm not from Florida, but... Yeah, I was actually kind of rolling there myself, and then I hesitated and stopped because I have spent enough time in Florida to know what football means there. It's far more than it means to us here in Arizona. I'm very optimistic. So it's better than Arizona State football. Arizona State has football? Air down. Air down.
Yeah, no, we don't. I forget about them down in Tucson. We don't have football either. We have basketball. Right. That's exactly right. Arizona has basketball. If we're after the Suns game, can you get us on after the Suns game from now on? I'm going to try to work my magic. I'll let you know. Okay.
Because I feel like that would help. Yeah. Now, folks, thank you so much for tuning in. We really appreciate you all being part of the program as we've expanded. Our first year, I think, has been a great learning experience for all of us. It has been a great opportunity. But we've also really had, as I say, going into this program, when you hear it, I think we've had the best guest list in the state of Arizona. And, Kylie, that is a big credit to you.
spending a lot of time chasing people around to get them on our program. I think sometimes they finally just accept it so I stop bothering them. Yeah, look, the pester till they perform. Yeah, if it works, it works. That's my motto. We're all about it. Until I get a no, you will probably keep hearing from me. And then when I get a no, then I'll
Try in a couple months. Okay. We're going to the old sales cliche. We need three no's before we're letting our guests off the hook. Exactly. Potential guests. Temporarily, too. You did great getting these guests, though. I'm really glad you could cook. I thought that would be a hard one. It was hard. I've been trying to get him for a couple of months. So, yeah. So, Chuck is not quite in front of his microphone when he said that, but we...
We were very excited to have Charles C.W. Cook on this week. We also had Jason Chaffetz coming for you. So I think this is going to be absolutely fantastic as an opening show for the Florida audience. And Chuck, any last words? No, we look forward to talking more about Florida politics, national politics, and we hope you'll join us every Saturday morning for breakfast.
You can't beat politics and eggs. For breakfast. No, you cannot. No, no, no. All right. That'll do it, folks. Remember to tune in every week. We're coming back. And please do catch up with us on Twitter. Ask the questions. We always love feedback. Breaking Battlegrounds. We'll be back soon.
