The FBI has arrested a Washington state woman in connection with the deadly shooting of a Vermont Border Patrol agent. Teresa Youngblood, who is 21, was charged in Monday's killing of Border Patrol agent David Maland. FBI agents say Maland had stopped her driving a Prius on Monday because Felix Bockholt, the passenger in the car and a German citizen, appeared to have an expired visa. Bockholt and Officer Maland were both killed in the firefight that followed.
Documents show Youngblood and Bockholt were in possession of multiple laptops, tactical gear, night vision goggles, ammunition, and two cell phones wrapped in what appeared to be aluminum foil. They had been under surveillance for almost a week before the shooting after a hotel worker reported concerns over Youngblood carrying a gun and both wearing all-black tactical gear.
