Drones are being reported over New Jersey and other locations, drawing attention due to their large size, unusual behavior, and the timing of their appearances. Some reports suggest they may be connected to foreign state actors or even paranormal phenomena.
Possible explanations include foreign state actors testing advanced drone technology, private companies defying laws to showcase their tech, or paranormal phenomena mimicking drone behavior. The drones are reported to be large, car-sized, and capable of sophisticated maneuvers.
The recent drone sightings share similarities with historical UFO activity, such as morphing shapes, loud noises, and appearances over military bases and power plants. These parallels suggest a possible connection to past UFO flaps, where similar phenomena occurred.
Witnesses have reported drones changing shape, emitting loud noises, and causing electronic disturbances, such as altering car clocks. These behaviors are reminiscent of classic UFO reports, where craft exhibited similar anomalies.
The drones may be deliberately drawing attention to themselves by flying over critical infrastructure, military bases, and residential areas. This behavior is consistent with past UFO phenomena that often sought to create hysteria and attract attention.
Historical examples include reports of black helicopters morphing into UFOs, as well as sightings of flying humanoids and Mothman-like creatures. These phenomena often coincide with military activity and have been linked to paranormal or extraterrestrial origins.
Military bases are often the focal point of drone sightings, similar to historical UFO activity over nuclear missile silos. This suggests a possible interest in military technology or strategic locations, whether by foreign actors or non-human entities.
While no direct connections have been made, the drone activity shares similarities with reports of flying humanoids, such as those seen in Mexico and Massachusetts. Both phenomena involve large, humanoid shapes in the sky, suggesting a possible link.
The appearance of drones over power plants adds to the mystery, as these locations are critical infrastructure. This behavior mirrors historical UFO activity over nuclear facilities, where craft were reported to disable weapons or cause disturbances.
Some believe the drones could be connected to paranormal phenomena due to their large size, unusual behavior, and the fact that they appear over locations historically linked to UFO activity. The drones' ability to evade capture and their deliberate showmanship also support this theory.

Hey.
Welcome to Mysterious Universe, Season 32, Episode 22. Coming up on the show, we've got hiding in plain sight, UFOs in human form, and the astral scepter of vibration. I'm your host, Benjamin Grundy. Joining me is Aaron Wright. I saw an image fleetingly come up on the screen before. Was that the scepter we're describing? It's a magical scepter from another dimension. Um...
Well, this looks like something you would buy off Timu or something like that. Timu? Maybe R18 Timu. Yeah, I'm following on from this book I did on the last show, on last Friday. Yeah, right. Okay. What was that? Yeah, because you missed that show, but it's from Bruce Mullen, Voyages into the Unknown.
He had a pretty interesting story. He's one of these guys that went to the Robert Monroe training stuff in the 1970s. He had all these out-of-body experiences, weird visions of his cluster incarnation disc, which I'll get into later. Okay. But I wanted to follow on from that because he's got four books and they progressively get more insane. See, I made the mistake of- Hence the vibrator. Yeah, I jumped into number four. Like I started reading number one
And I jumped into number four and it was like UFOs and crystals and lasers and dinosaurs. And I thought, I got to ease into that. So I started reading his second book and it's just like...
vibrator wands from other dimensions. That's pretty fun. Right. That's a great way for doing an episode of the show. Yeah. So that's coming up. Bit of a sexy story for Plus. Okay. Very nice. Well, this show, I want to jump into some of the current events that are occurring around not only New Jersey at the moment, but in fact, all across the world. And I got the attention, people are seeing this in the news. I've got a couple of news reports here. I just want to play for you straight up. Like we're just going to jump
straight into it. This is coming from CBS. It's Nick Callaway reporting on it. They're seeing some very strange UFO or drone activity over New Jersey. Let's take a listen. This cell phone video taken last week shows drones hovering over a neighborhood in Morristown just above the trees. It's one of countless sightings by residents and law enforcement over the last
two weeks. You look up and you'll see them. I mean, they're everywhere. Ryan Dawson sees the drones around dusk over his neighborhood in Mendham Township. FBI officials say residents describe seeing clusters of drones and a possible fixed wing aircraft. My wife and I were driving. We saw one right up above us. That was the size of our car. I mean, it's great. I'm so glad you're covering this because I've just been seeing some of the clips and haven't really
into the story. So what's going on? People are seeing drones everywhere. Yeah, there's still updates going. And in fact, these updates have been the last three hours people have been reporting seeing these strange drones. And it's getting curiouser and curiouser. And what I always say about the UFO phenomenon is that, look, it never repeats, but it certainly does rhyme. And there's something obviously very unusual going on here. I mean, it simply could just be that these are drones that are being routed
run by just someone having fun. But then, of course, it starts descending into more wild conspiracy theories or theories. I shouldn't even say conspiracy because no one really knows what's occurring. But to give you some understanding of what's occurring here, there was actually a newsletter that was sent out by MUFON. You've got Bob Spearing saying that, look, these drones, these mystery drones,
They're everywhere. It's not just over New Jersey. They're appearing all across the world. He says, for several weeks, drone swarms have been seen in the vicinity of U.S. military bases in the United Kingdom and the United States. The affected bases house B-52 nuclear bombers, B-35s, sorry, F-35s, the joint strike fighters, F-15 jets. The swarms are sophisticated and drones are being reported as being counterproductive.
So car-sized, and you heard that from that report there from CBS just a moment ago. This isn't just your regular DJI drone that someone's got out and they're flying around at night. These are very, very large craft, and they're doing strange things which are consistent with previous reports of people encountering
I've seen some of the headlines relating to this and it's usually framed in a way that it's about UFOs, but it's,
it's painted as something very mundane that this is actually a national security issue. Uh, from what I've been seeing, the thinking is that this is an adversarial state, some kind of fifth column launching their technology inside the borders of the United States. You're absolutely right. So, uh, going back to, you know, Bob's, uh, newsletter, he's saying the apparently hapless, um, British and, uh,
British and American authorities are showing a severe vulnerability and their ability to defend their bases from possible attack from whomever these actors are. And there is a significant possibility that these are the property of foreign state actors. Now, yeah, I mean, that's a possibility. And if you recall, we had the balloon incident that occurred recently with a Chinese spy balloon somehow managing to fly pretty much over the entirety of the United States before it was shut
down. So I wouldn't put it past these foreign actors to do something like this. There's suggestions here from Bob saying, look, could this be incursions because of Russia due to the Biden administration giving the green light to Ukraine using long range missiles? Is it possible that this is terrorist activity connected to tensions involving Iran and the
But he said here that there's word coming from New Jersey that drone swarms are actually even showing up over President-elect Donald Trump's properties. And some people have suggested this may even be connected to another assassination attempt. Is it Iran doing something? Is it Iran trying to kill Trump? I don't think so. I throw that one out because it's like, why would you fly a six-foot drone over...
over a Trump property trying to intimidate. I just don't think it's going to work. Maybe to start a war with Iran. Maybe. Oh, no, the drone we found has these Iranian flags on it and a note saying we want to kill Donald Trump. Strange. We have to go to war with Iran. Weird how that works. Yeah, or it crashes and somehow it catches on fire and somehow there's like a passport in it. Yeah, it's just like bits of Iranian passports.
Fall down. Yeah, it's like all this weird dro-jet fuel destroys everything for hundreds of meters and yet you've got a perfect passport. Bunch of dancing guys nearby. Funny hats. I don't... No, see, I don't think that's what's occurring. I think this is actually probably one of two things. Yes, someone has smuggled these things into the United States and they are doing it to intimidate or to create fear and panic. That's one possibility. Although in saying that, you've got...
the authorities saying there's nothing to be concerned about. That seems to be a trend, though. I saw this tweet earlier this week. It's from Dave Madden. He said, an intelligence officer I knew was heavily disciplined for saying he had evidence of a Chinese administration clerk at our command that was a spy. They punished him for racism and didn't investigate. What? This guy apparently, yeah, uncovered this spy. And...
A Chinese spy. Gave all the evidence and he got fired for racism. Madden said months later, NCIS found that she and her husband had parked a moving truck full of signal intelligence gear directly outside command. Oh my God. They set up a sting operation for one morning and the couple left for China the night before. The intel officer was never restored, so he never got his job back.
And that seems to be the incompetence of what's happening now. Just a general apathy. There were other people in that thread saying, yeah, I caught a North Korean spy. I went to my commanding officer with everything on a plate. And his attitude was like, oh, I don't have time to deal with this. What do you want me to do about it? That's what he said. Arrest them? His commanding officer literally said, what do you want me to do about it? So he had to go back and get even more evidence and then reluctantly...
They got the guy arrested. How just truly bizarre is that? Yeah, it seems like in general there's an apathy. There's a half-arsed, to use an Australian term, a half-arsed approach to everything that's coming home to roost. But with the UFO drone sightings, is there anything strange about them at all? Are they just conventional craft? Because I saw one the other day that was...
shaped like a plane. The lights were in the right places. There was wings. The people were saying it wasn't a plane. You're right. So some people, I think it might come up in some of the audio I've got in a moment, but some witnesses are saying that they do appear to be fixed wing, some of them. But when you kind of look close enough at them, they're not fixed wing. They've got this weird kind of, they look like, appear to be propellers, but no one's really sure. But there is some high strangeness attached to these craft, which suggests that
Maybe it's not all what it appears to be. So first of all, let's look at some of the flags, red flags that come up. Look, the Federal Aviation Administration has placed temporary no-fly zones over Trump's golf course and, of course, Picatinny Arsenal.
Now, Picatinny has a very interesting history. Now, what do we know about strange aerial intrusions over military bases? Well, coincidentally, we've seen over the years with the work of multiple researchers that UFOs, but more conventional style UFOs, saucer-shaped craft, for example, cylinders and other circumstances, show up over nuclear missile silos and those sorts of sites. There's a whole wealth of research that's gone into that, of reports of
UFOs showing up over nuclear missile silos, Minutemen silos, firing laser beams or weapons of some kind into a silo to disable and turn on nuclear weapons. Really crazy kind of stuff out there. This seems to be kind of...
consistent with that in the sense that Picatinny has this really interesting history of being reported as housing nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons. About a decade ago, there was a series of high-profile suicides there. MUFON has reported on this, apparently. And there are reports that in the facility's lower levels, that at least for four decades, there has been some intact UFO housed there. So I'm like, okay, well, maybe that's a possibility. But
Are the drones coming over for that or is there something else going on? I'm not sure until you start listening to more of the reports. So if you bring up the second report, Ben,
We've gotten it out of the way that these aren't conventional drones. They're large, like six foot wingspan, allegedly, the size of a car. It's got to be a state actor if they are humans, or it's got to be someone that has the resources to be able to put these things into the sky. But if it was a state actor, why would they put so many lights on them? Why would they draw attention? This is part of this weirdness of hiding in plain sight.
Well, apparently they also do weird things. This is a report from Fox News describing some of the activity that's taking place. It says it's like a parade. The drones just keep coming one after another and you can hear them coming because they're so loud. Listen to the power of this drone last night.
So residents in Morris County tell me this has been happening every single night with the exception of Thanksgiving over the past few weeks. One family claims they followed a drone in their car and while it hovered above them, the clock in their car changed times. Then they say the clock went back to normal after they drove off.
That's very classic UFO, isn't it? It's very classic UFO. Like immediately when I started looking at this, as you said yourself, Ben, I've seen this come up on social media. I've seen mainstream news outlets reporting on this and I just dismissed it because I was like, oh, big deal. It's a bunch of drones. But then when you start actually listening and paying attention to the eyewitness reports, you start seeing these parallels of
with prior UFO activity, some of the really classic stuff coming up. So the last report, this is the most recent report that I've been able to pull up from CBS. This is Nick Calloway once again reporting on it. Just bring up number three for me, please, Ben.
That mystery continues in the sky over New Jersey. People now reporting even more drone sightings. Law enforcement confirms there have been sightings in Morris, Somerset and Warren counties. Nick Calloway has been on top of the story from the beginning and has the latest.
It definitely wasn't a plane because it was too low and it was also going back and forth and then forwards and backwards. Melissa Kosilniak took this cell phone video Wednesday night from her home in Chatham in Morris County. She says that large object with the flashing red and green lights was hovering just above her neighbor's rooftops. I think the creepy part is not that it's just a drone, that they're so large.
So once again, this validation that these things are really, really big, and this has got to be something else. Now, it's not that the witnesses are reporting this, but as I highlighted, immediately as someone who's been researching UFOs for a very long time, I'm beginning to see similarities in the history of this kind of stuff. This has been happening for a long time. It goes all the way back to the 1960s, where activity like this has been taking place, where
You might find that there's reports of morphing UFOs, craft that mimic what appear to be conventional planes, aircraft. And then the eyewitness will say, well, they'll hear the sound and they'll come outside because it's just so deafeningly loud, like what the report is here. And they'll look at it. And then all of a sudden the craft will change shape.
It will change shape into a saucer shape, or it will change shape into something a little bit longer than that. It's clearly not a craft. It's clearly not a conventional aircraft. And apparently this was happening as recently as December of 2018. So there were a whole bunch of drones, in inverted commas, that were showing up at Gatwick Airport in Sussex during one of the busiest times of the year. Now I'll link to this article so you can go and read it for yourself, but
This is not new. These drones causing havoc at airports and other locations and it never really being worked out. Apparently, when holidaymakers were getting ready to obviously fly out, you can't be having aircraft taking off and landing when there's something strange going on with these drones.
It caused the airport to come to a complete halt because these drones were hovering over the runway. Now, the drones left and the activity calmed down, but this is really unbelievable, right?
So, there was a quietening of this mysterious craft and the airport, you know, obviously an airport wants to keep running all the time because it's costly. They decided that, you know, the decision was coming down that it was ready to put the aircraft back in the air. Within 45 minutes of them deciding, the airport authorities, to put aircraft back in the air, the drones returned.
that just showed how is it that these things knew what was going on? And again, much like these more recent reports from New Jersey, these were rather large. They were unable to be identified. People were saying that this was some type of deliberate act of disruption. But even for the distance that you can get on drones, like drones, you can get a few miles in some circumstances. I think even with prosumer kind of ones, you can get 12 miles out of them. There was no one around that seemingly was using these things.
And it just ended as abruptly as it started. How can something car-sized be smuggled into the country? Well, quite easily. I mean, people are just walking over the border at the moment, so I don't know if it would be – I mean, I'm not saying that to be controversial. I'm just saying it's pretty clear that the border isn't being monitored very well, so people could easily bring God knows what over and smuggle into the country foreign adversaries, the Chinese, the Russians.
That's one possibility of what's going on. Or is this more consistent with a return to some type of weird UFO flap to bring attention to itself? What's funny with the videos that you've shown, if you look at the craft that's displayed, they all have the same lighting configuration. You'll see in this one, it's got that red light underneath.
And I think in the previous one that you showed, I'll just quickly play it again here. So it's got the same, it's got that same red light. Yes. Yep. Underneath. It's weird. Is it the same thing? Well, apparently, but who's doing this, right? Think about it.
Who was putting this many lights on it to attract this kind of attention? It's clearly being done to show itself off. And look, I know we're crossing into the realms of ufological craziness, but that's what happens during these flaps. These things deliberately show themselves off. They deliberately get attention. They create a furore. They create a whole heap of hysteria.
and then they suddenly end, and we never have any answers to what's going on. Is the military itself, is the United States military testing something themselves? Is it some type of government program that's trying to test the responsiveness of the local authorities?
I wouldn't have thought so. It did cross my mind that it's very convenient now that journalists can write articles about UFOs, but just really they're writing about drones. That's right. Yeah, that's the term. And the headlines are that it's, well, it's the mystery. There's one the other day, I can't remember the exact wording, but it was something along the lines of the mundaneness of the mystery of UFOs. And it's just about drones. Yeah. So is this a way to...
Like soft disclosure, you mean? No, it's just painting. It's more of the extension of a cover-up of the true phenomenon. It's basically saying nothing to see here. Yeah. It's a bit of a mystery, but they're just drones, like someone's flying drones around. Bingo. You're exactly where I am. I think that's what's occurring here, that there is something very strange going on. It's being witnessed by many people, many people. And the response from the authorities is, oh, there's nothing to worry about.
So no, you should be concerned if there's a six foot craft, unknown craft, not only just hovering over your car and doing things to your clock radio in your car, which is very classical UFO, but also hovering over your neighbor's homes. Why isn't this the obvious answer that it's just the US military? Good question. I really have no answer to that.
Is that what it is? No, but surely the US military, if they were conducting some type of exercise like that, they would report it. There would be some form of reporting, there would be, or there'd be a cover story that would be created. It wouldn't be left to be this ambiguous weirdness, which is going on. I guess that's true because it makes the United States look particularly weak if it's some kind of foreign force. Absolutely. Now, again, as I pointed out before, you know, yeah, a spy balloon flew over the country before it was shot down. So,
Could this be another example of that? But I am surprised that none of them have been shot down yet. Well, I can see the scenario where all these people in the military are going, hey, we got these incursions and their commander's like...
I was just about to sit down and have a nap. I don't want to deal with this. Yeah. But then that's one possibility. But look, we come back to Bob Spearing's note. And as I said, this stuff is happening in the vicinity of US military bases, not only in the United States, but also in the United Kingdom. So again, is this some type of coordinated state actor which is trying to do this? Or is it more consistent with some of the previous UFO reports we've had of these strange craft being utilized for
Who knows what? And there are a lot of connections to military bases and UFO activity where the military themselves, even in declassified reports, have come out and said, we have no idea what these things are that are hovering over the base. We have no reason to understand why they are here. And essentially, we're vulnerable. And maybe that's what this is about. They don't want to declare that they're vulnerable to whatever these things are. But one person who is familiar with this sort of activity,
is Nick Redfern. And Nick Redfern actually fits this into, well, you know, previously, not this particular event, but it's very similar, is the reports of black helicopters flying
Now, these black helicopters, you've got people like Jim Keith who have been reporting on this over the years, and I believe Jim Keith died in very suspicious circumstances after reporting about these black helicopters. If you're familiar with the genre, you know that black helicopters have been, unmarked helicopters, have been associated not only with UFO activity, they've also been associated with cattle mutilations.
And some people have reported that, particularly in the UK, that these strange silent, which helicopters shouldn't be silent, but these strange silent black helicopters seemingly show up immediately after a UFO has, you know,
shown in some vicinity or after a cattle mutilation has taken place. But Nick goes a little bit further than that. And he says, look, in my files, I have more than 20 reports of people who have claimed to have seen black helicopters, not only flying in complete silence, but did astonishing and almost unbelievable things. And he says these fall into three morphing categories. He says, one, they can take the form of a classic 1950s flying saucer.
Other times they'll turn into a small ball of light. And in his third category, they'll turn into large blinding balls of light that just flash and disappear.
So this is like, okay, is this what's going on here? Have we seen any of that from the eyewitnesses in these events? Not yet, right? But one of the other reports, which I didn't get it because we just started recording, one of the latest reports I saw was that also these drones had been showing up over power plants as well. And you've got veterans, you've got, you know, former military veterans who were like
I shouldn't say former veterans, former military people that are saying, I've never seen anything like this. I'm familiar with the type of technology we have and I've never seen anything like this. But who has seen it apparently are other people that reported strange UFO activity. It is a very fast moving world of military technology though. Sure. Yeah. I mean, we've seen what's happened in the Ukraine conflict with soldiers getting blown up by these cheap drones. And if you keep checking in on Anduril,
Every time I look at that site and what they're producing, this is the stuff in just in their PR campaigns. So is that what all this is? I mean, is this some weird... Well, I mean, you know, just as an excuse to play some of their cool tech again, this is Parmalucky's company, Andral. This is one of the drones, the Ghost X. Oh, it's in basically a, what, just a...
Just a little suitcase and, you know, he gets it out, puts everything together in five minutes. And this thing is just a, you know, surveillance killing machine. Up it goes.
And there's a bunch of these where they're showing these mass-produced missiles now. Yeah, this is just one of their drones. Right. But the thing is, though, a company like this, I mean, surely it can't be the company doing it. But anyway, if the FAA has put in a no-fly zone and these people are still flying, there could be significant consequences for doing that. Check this out. This is their latest...
What's this Barracuda manufacturing? Yeah, Barracuda mass-produced missiles. It's like an anime cartoon. They're showing the missile being constructed by robot arms. There's something very disturbing about this. Isn't this insane? Yes. It's like we're watching an episode of Evangelion or something. This is the cutting edge of warfare. Slaps a little sticker on it, load it up on the planes, and then they all kind of disappear into the distance.
It's just like an anime. They look like obviously highly advanced V1 rockets. That's Andral. So I wouldn't be surprised if some of the, maybe not Andral, but some of these competing private companies are testing some of their hardware. That's definitely a possibility. But for the sake of Mysterious Universe, I'm willing to indulge more on the fringe of what possibly could be going on here. So let's look at some of the things. So Nick has also pointed out, he says, look,
These reports of shapeshifting craft are actually surprisingly widespread within the field of ufology, but you just need to know where to look for them. There's a great example that was described by a man named Bruno. This comes back to February of 1982. This man claimed that he was over the Dulce Mesa. Now, Dulce, we know, was already associated with...
wild reports of there being underground human alien battles, laser pistols, all that kind of stuff. Humans being crossbred with reptilians. Yeah. All those wild kind of things coming out of there. But this man by the name of Bruno claims that he watched a bunch of helicopters, uh,
inexplicably morphing into balls of light that dropped down into the mesa and disappeared. So this is from 1982. We had that one. Then you've got people like Ray Beauches where it starts moving into the more extreme kind of things of where, uh,
Ray Beauches met with a bunch of US Department of Defense physicists. I think this is connected with the Collins elite kind of stuff that was going on. And they were informed that apparently the US military was working on a classified program to contact aliens from another world, but they didn't contact aliens. They contacted non-human entities. Now, if you recall with the Collins elite, essentially that understanding came about that they weren't interacting with aliens or even what could be
in a banal sense, described as non-human entities. They were demons. This is what this group was believing. But regardless, what was described to Ray Beauches is that these craft that people were seeing, these strange helicopters that were able to morph and change shape and move at incredible speed, they were actually being used for running checks and surveillance on mutilation sites and abduction victims. They called these NHE production craft.
so non-human entities. So at least somewhere in, possibly in the defence field, there is an understanding that we are dealing with
supernatural entities, aliens, demons, who knows? But they are employing highly advanced craft that are mimicking what people at the time would assume to be just normal aircraft. But it's like, it's not quite right. Like you've got, it's drawing so much attention to itself because it's so loud. And it's like, I recall a report actually of where
Someone had heard a very strange, loud jet kind of noise outside their home, and they ran outside to see what was going on. And it was like a plane had almost stopped, but the sound sounded like it was ahead of the aircraft. And it wasn't this kind of thing of where you see a fighter jet go flying past and then you hear the sound. It was like the sound preceded the craft.
It was almost like the aircraft that was mimicking it or pretending to be something else had gotten it wrong. Like they'd stuffed it up and this was witnessed by the person on the ground. So also there's a book called Top Secret Alien Abduction Files, What the Government Doesn't Want You to Know. This was published by Nick Redfern and he said he's done some research into newspaper reports from early 1974 where apparently there was leaked information from the British government at the time that was saying that a special branch, we don't know what,
who it was attached to and what was going on. But they were also investigating reports of unidentified helicopters all across the United Kingdom. In some of these reports, it was said that these helicopters were behaving in very strange fashion. But guess what they were doing? They were hovering slightly above or very close to the houses of people who claimed to have been abducted by aliens. Again, it's like,
Why are they hanging around people that have been abducted by aliens? Yeah, it brings to mind the recent book from Skip Atwater, Project 8200, where he was reviewing the remote viewing projects from the 80s where they supposedly looked at locations of non-human bases that they were finding in their investigations. One of the remote viewing sessions, the particular viewer, I don't think it was Atwater, it was another guy, but
he saw helicopters. Really? But later this came up in the session that they weren't necessarily our helicopters. They were, by all intents and purposes, helicopters, but not... Yeah.
Not piloted by humans, not produced by human beings. That was something else. Well, it's a camouflage and it kind of makes sense though when you think about it, right? You've had these craft that have been flying around that are saucer shaped. They look foreign. They're obviously so foreign. So if you were some type of force that was trying to observe humanity or perhaps even
intrude upon humanity, you would somehow camouflage yourself to make it look like you were more natural. But because they're aliens, because they don't entirely understand humanity, they don't always get it quite right. They stuff things up. So there was also a bunch of files that were released under, it was called Alleged Unauthorized Helicopter Flights in Derbyshire and Cheshire.
This, of course, goes back to the UK. This file claimed that strange helicopters were observed on a number of occasions over a period of two weeks. They appeared to be practicing landings near quarries and explosive stores in
in Derbyshire countryside. And I'm like, hmm. Explosive stores. Explosive stores. What is an explosive store? It's like military bases that have ammunitions. Oh, okay. And right now, right, we've got, there's that base in New Jersey where you've got munition stores. Yeah. Did you see that? Did you see that other video from New Jersey? I was just looking for it on X.
And I found it here as posted by Ronnie Vernet. So this is the one I was talking about earlier where it just looks like a plane. It does look like a plane, yeah. But he's claiming it's not. You can see the wingtips. You can see the tail. But other people have commented and said this doesn't match any known aircraft. It doesn't make sense for those two lights to be underneath. The configuration and colors of the lights are all wrong.

That's why I think this is fitting in. It's more consistent with the high strangeness associated with this activity going on. One of his hypotheses is that non-human intelligence is exponentially increasing their presence mimicking human vehicles. Yeah, I mean, but this is the thing. It's saying that it's...
it's suddenly doing this, but it's been doing it over and over and over throughout history. Going back to the report from the UK, there was an officer who prepared the file. He'd apparently spoken to a helicopter pilot with the Royal Air Force who had extended experience of night flying. In his opinion, he said it would be extremely dangerous
to fly in that area because of the nature of the terrain and also because of the number of overhead pylons in the area and yet they were doing it well let's consider his first three hypotheses again number one the us is testing new exotic drones that are causing panic in the population
But why? Again, probably not true, right? That doesn't really fit. You've got Groom Lake. You've got all these locations where you could test this stuff. Why would you do it over in New Jersey? It doesn't make sense. Number two, private companies cracked how to build exotic drones and are defying the law flying these machines. Again, that kind of fits a little bit into the first one as well. If you've got a private company that
producing these things, they would have their own areas where they can test fly them. Number three, which I think is actually the most likely scenario with these reports, US adversaries are daring to play deterrence games with almighty drones that cannot be stopped. Maybe. Maybe. I'm not sure how plausible that is, but that's a potentiality. What if there's a speaker on it that's going, fuck you, China number one.
China number one.
before they announce it. But then that would create the potential for, I mean, I know we've already got a lot of wars going on, but that could escalate war to a level that could push us into World War III potentially. So I don't know if that's the case either. I think there's something else and we have to look into the history to see what's going on. But it's also like the phenomenon
Whatever it is, and whether or not it is humans or something that's non-human, they seem to know, right? They seem to know. So going back to the UK and the reports from Derbyshire, apparently when that was all going on, the military actually held secret meetings to decide upon a plan of action to combat these potentially dangerous night flights. A decision was made to have fighter jets on standby so they could actively pursue these mysterious craft with the hopes of forcing them to land.
Almost immediately following this decision, sightings of strange black helicopters suddenly stopped. It's done. So hang on a second. How is it that in the upper echelons of command, where they're making these top secret decisions about what they're going to do, that somehow the phenomenon knows to stop instantaneously? Almost instantaneously. It's just...
it boggles the mind as to what could be occurring here. Um, then Nick also points out that you've got, you know, the state of Nevada, there was reports back then of unmarked black helicopters spraying unknown substances over certain locations associated with previous UFO activity. Uh, ultimately some cattle ranches had said that it resulted in the death of their animals. Why is this, is this connected? Is this isolated? Why is this stuff going on? Um,
But with these reports, right, what grabbed my attention was the munition stores. Like where have we heard like weird phenomena showing up with munition stores? Mothman. Mothman has been associated with this stuff.
And I'm like, okay. Or did they have the dynamite factory nearby? The TNT area. The TNT area, which was used for manufacturing dynamite and other explosives back in the Second World War. I believe by that time that the activity was taking place, it had died down, wasn't being used anymore. But there is something very peculiar associated with that. And so coincidentally, I thought about this kind of activity. And there is an idea that was put forward, it was just a fleeting kind of hub page article that I
that I saw. But it ties in with something that I heard from Art Bell talking to Ken Gearhart many, many years ago, about a decade ago. But it's UFOs in human form, right? What? It's UFOs, unexplained flying objects that appear in human form. And it's almost like- Like a transformer? No, as in like they're humanoid.
Right. They are. And I'm sort of thinking. Oh, I see what you mean. So it's, it's an unidentified flying humanoid. Yeah, exactly. But not a disc, but they're showing up. Right. I'm like, there's actually reports of this happening in Massachusetts. So there was a sighting that actually occurred all the way back in 2020, all the way back, but it feels like it's old now, but in 2020, in March, the 22nd, um,
There was reports, or in March of that year, there was reports of strange flying humanoids being seen in Arizona and Massachusetts. Now, this image that I want to bring up, so don't go into the images that I've given you, Ben. Just bring up for me, yeah, this image here. Yeah, so actually, no, I'm sorry, I've messed up. That's Mexico. This is Mexico. Yeah, let me just have a look.
No, I'm sorry. We actually got to get back to the video, actually. Can you bring up video number four for me, please? Number four. Number four. So have a look at this. So this was from 2020. Classic. It's obviously, it's typical for a UFO type video. It's, you know, very difficult to see. It's moving around a lot, but there appears to be some humanoid form floating in the sky, almost like it's got legs below it, arms sticking out from the side, a central torso and a head.
What could this thing possibly be? Now, this was reported. A balloon is the first thing. A balloon is one of the suggestions that has come up. And in fact, the eyewitness that reported this said that we first noticed it while sitting in our backyard. This was a black object moving slowly from northeast to southwest. It had a very strange shape and looked like a figure. My wife commented that it looked like a giant bumblebee. We used our binoculars to tape it. So that's why it's got this weird effect as they're filming it through their phone and through the binoculars.
They said this confirmed the odd shape, but it appeared to be spinning. But what was odd is that it was moving in the direction opposite the clouds.
So it's like, if it's a balloon, shouldn't it be moving in the direction of the clouds? Like, that's a bit weird. There's a collection of these, which I'll link to in the show notes so you can go and check them out for yourself. Obviously, you have to take these sorts of reports, you know, with a grain of salt because it's like, yeah, I mean, it could have been some weird balloon which has gotten away at that height to the untrained eye. You can interpret it as anything.
But this phenomenon has form. These weird flying humanoids have form. And that's why we have to go all the way back to the year 2000, where we've got the Salvador Gutierrez image. So if you just bring up that first image, Ben, from 2000. So let me just tell you about this. So apparently Salvador...
had been on a rooftop that evening for the purpose of sky watching for UFOs. So he's already out there kind of, you know, preempting what he wants to see. But some people have suggested that that's actually part of it. It's like there's a consciousness attribute to it. But as he was watching, he said it got very, very weird. As he gazed up into the darkening sky, his attention was drawn to something very odd out there floating about. It seemed to be neither a bird plane nor a typical UFO. And he used his video camera to zoom in on the anomalous object.
Upon zooming in, it became very evident that this was not a typical unidentified flying object, as it appeared to be a humanoid figure inexplicably hovering in the air. There were no wings, no parachute, no obvious means of propulsion, and there was no way that this mysterious individual could have been keeping himself aloft, yet there he was, or there it was, suspended in midair, apparently slowly spinning while holding its arms outstretched. And you can see that, yeah, it's almost like it's got a wingsuit of some kind.
But it's not falling. It's just spinning there in the air. He said that he watched in awe until the figure moved off and out of sight behind a building. Its origin and destination are both unknown. Did you see this one that showed up from the UK? No, I haven't seen this one. It looks like that looks like a Concorde with a weird lighting configuration. Yeah, there was various angles of it, but that's the only one I could find at the moment. Is this one of the drones that's being recently reported in the UK? Yeah, supposedly. Yeah, there's about four or five stills of it.
You know, with something like that, I kind of go, is it possible that that's just an AI image, which is, you know, something that's possible these days. But, you know, if we do have eyewitness reports, which is why the reports coming out of, you know, CBS and Fox are good, because you do have, you know, eyewitnesses on the ground saying, no, I definitely saw this thing. I saw something very strange. But then, of course, you can go, okay, this is strange. Like, who knows what's going on? But there were more reports later that year from the Salvador report
You have other people witnessing similar things. There was a man, he said he filmed a tall, dark humanoid object descend from the sky to disappear behind a hill near an active volcano. The strange flying man was filmed again and the video was picked apart and debated as to its veracity, but many people have said that it was real. But in October...
There was a sighting that really stood out. It was made by an airline pilot and his co-pilot while preparing to land in Mexico City. The figure was described as a little flying man wearing what appeared to be a backpack and
and who matched the altitude and speed of the aircraft for some time before flying off. This is a notable sighting in that these were trained pilots who would have been familiar with aerial phenomena and not prone to making up wild tales. Did he have little goggles on and a little scarf? No, I did think of that, right? Yeah, and it's like, well...
But pilots, you know, historically have been reluctant to make these sorts of reports because they don't want to be seen as being crazy. But look, it's around the time that this stuff is taking place. Then you have February of 2004 where Anna Sid and two other witnesses said that they saw some strange unearthly sight above Mexico City. They said they saw a strange object that at first seemed to be mechanical. It was a vibrating machine with a top-level
but something dangling underneath, but it's appeared to be a large black humanoid shape.
Once again, very similar to the previous reports. It's written here to make matters more bizarre was that a small object was seen to drift up from below and merge with the larger figure before the larger structure kind of revealed itself and then the entire thing disappeared. But what they did see was a humanoid wearing a cloak or cape of some sort hovering in the sky. Again, these weird humanoids. And then we've got the next one. We've got the Horatio Roque image.
This is from 2004. This is a still. If you can bring up the next image there, Ben. In 2004, yet another video of these things emerged. This shows a dark object with a humanoid form floating through the air at great speed while hunched over. Oh no, sorry, this was the 2005 report. So that's 2004, you've got one of these reports. But then in 2005, the Horatio report came through. This appears to be a humanoid in a seated position, much like the 2004 report, atop some type of device over Mexico City.
It's like, is it some weird, I don't know, like a scooter of some kind, a sky scooter? But what stands out with this is that this happened on a clear day in the afternoon where it could easily be seen from the ground. The witness and his sister said they saw a tall humanoid figure cruising along through the air, leering at them menacingly.
How could you tell from that kind of distance? Well, but this is just Paul. He's just leering at him. Well, this is just Paul, a shot though. So who knows how close this thing came. But this figure apparently was perched atop some sort of gravity defying vehicle that emitted a strange red glow with its legs dangling underneath. This became one of the most famous pieces of footage ever taken of the Mexico flying humanoids. So what's this one here? Here's another one for you from the UK.
Most of these have got to be fake. Yeah. It's just a flying triangle. No one else seems to care about it on the road. Well, I mean, if you're driving along in your car, what are you going to do? You're not going to suddenly pull over, are you? Right?
veer off the road violently. No, you're not going to do that. You're just not going to do that at all. And of course, going back to 2004, you've got police officers reporting these things, encountering these strange kind of flying humanoid entities that are moving about. So there was one from the city of Monterrey, and you've got a police officer who in the early hours of January the 16th, 2004, had a violent encounter. Apparently he was heading through a borough of Mexico City. This is the police officer.
when he turned onto a quiet tree-lined street to see something large and black fall from a tree, but it began to levitate right before it hit the ground. The puzzle police officer drove his patrol car closer to see what it was, and he said that this dark shape was actually a flying humanoid entity that looked like a floating old woman, dressed all in black and with dark skin and eyes that were just sockets without eyelids.
The horrifying apparition then suddenly flew to hover right above the vehicle where the stunned occupant was within. He said that he could see it better this time and noted that it was a hideous old woman that resembled a witch. He apparently annoyed it with the car's high beams and this thing covered her face with a cloak and then flew into the vehicle's windshield before he put the car into reverse, speeding back. This thing flew off into the sky. What are these things? Like, what are people encountering? This is...
Is this some type of issue? Is this police officer having some type of psychotic episode? But why would you put your career at risk? But it's just interesting that he had this particular encounter that while not in the sky, it was of a levitating humanoid that was around the time of all this other activity that was taking place. You know, some of these ones over the years have been shocking.
Shown to be balloons. Yeah, balloons. Michelin men balloons. Stormtrooper balloon. Yeah, all that kind of stuff. So that's definitely a possibility with this as well. Although I'd say the one of a weird levitating humanoid right in front of a police car is probably a little bit more unusual. And especially with the pilots as well. You would think that those pilots would know how to recognize the difference between a balloon and some type of powered, albeit unknown, craft.
But this police officer was actually subsequently subjected to drug tests, psychiatric tests, even though no one believed him, but all of them turned up negative. He wasn't under the influence of anything. Other reports would actually filter in afterwards as well from the vicinity with one witnessed by the name of Norma Hernandez, claiming that just two weeks before his strange encounter, she'd been hanging laundry out when she saw the black form of humanoid figure flying in the sky above. So a lot of strange activity that's going on here.
But I thought, okay, let's go back to the strangeness that's associated with this. And there's actually the research of Ken Gerhardt that kind of reminded me because Ken has published numerous books in the realm of cryptozoology, but he has one that actually focuses on encounters with flying humanoids. It's called Encounters with Flying Humanoids, Mothmen, Man-Birds, Gargoyles, and Other Winged
beasts. Now, we spoke to Art Bell all the way back in 2015 about some of these reports of what people are encountering and people are seeing. There does appear to be a long history of what you would call normal people that aren't crazy, that aren't inclined to make up stories, having encounters with these weird flying humanoids. And there seems to be a connection to it because it's like
Yeah, people see UFOs and strange craft, but sometimes they morph, sometimes they shapeshift. And is there a connection with the flying humanoids? Is this what people are seeing? It's all the same stuff. It's just...
changing and morphing itself to fit with what is current and what's more current than drones. That's why it's changing its shape. Look at that. But let's go back to some of these older reports. So I want to bring up just a little bit of audio from this. And we've got here, if you can bring up...
Farmer mech? Yeah, okay. So this is a really good example of where before, you know, you commented about the leering, right? They saw this leering in Mexico City, this flying humanoid flying overhead and leering. Well, that leering intimidation has actually occurred before. Play number four for me, please. In 1956 at a place called Falls City, Nebraska, a gentleman, a farmer who used a pseudonym, John Hanks, when he actually reported the event, said,
Obviously, he didn't want to be exposed. But according to this gentleman, this farmer, he encountered a being while working out in his field one day. And this thing basically overflew him at a height of about 15 feet. And the description is pretty chilling. He said that this figure who had a human-like form would have been about 9 feet tall.
The wings were not actually organic wings. They were mechanical, sort of silver mechanical wings with a row of lights going down them about 15 feet across.
And this being whatever it was, was operating these wings and flying with a control panel strapped to his chest. But the really chilling part was the description of the face. The face, he described the face as looking demonic with these blue watery eyes and wrinkled sort of leathery skin and a scowling frowl on his face. And as he watched this thing, it just sort of hovered over him ominously and then kind of took off. A scowling frowl? Yeah, man, it's...
It's reminiscent of stories of flying witches in the Middle Ages. Yes. But there's the technology aspect. And I love these stories where there's like a little joystick. Yeah. They're flying through the air with some mechanized harness or something. Look at it. 1956. And you're right. This steampunk kind of thing, which would be consistent with what popular culture would have imagined at the time of some wild scientist who had created some type of flying machine that he was flying and he was pissed off because it wasn't working properly.
But leering, right? It also looks like a hideous freak. Right. 1956, right? Then you go to 2005. What kind of would be these flying humanoids? Like 2004, 2005, it's kind of consistent with some weird craft that could be used. Now, in 2024, it's drones. It's the same kind of thing, which is kind of morphing and adapting to what's going on. But there's more of it, right? Because it's still doing the same kind of stuff, even though the outside of it is morphing.
It still seems to have the same interest. And that interest, for whatever reason, is in military bases, conflicts, battlefields. This is something that Ken himself highlighted. He's like, when you find reports of these winged monstrosities, they seemingly have a fascination with military locations, with battlefields. Why? A great example, and Nick Redfern himself has described this one, but a great example comes from The Glowing Woman of Danae. So just play number six. According to a...
a marine by the name of earl morrison he related he relayed this story to a ufo researcher named don worley during the vietnam war he was stationed along with two other bodies uh
and on top, you know, sort of on watchtower type situation. And they saw a figure approaching the distance, and at first they thought it was a very large bat, but they realized quickly that this thing was much larger than any bat they had ever seen before. And as this figure got closer and closer, they were able to make out that it was actually the form of a nude winged woman, completely black in color, seemed to be covered in kind of a black fur or hair-like substance, and bat-like wings,
And that she essentially, she hovered like right over, flew right over their heads, peering down at them kind of ominously. And she seemed to be giving off kind of a green cast or a green glow. I was going to ask if you had that sighting. So again...
The peering, the ominous, the leering that's connected to it. The big black breasts. So this was 1969. So it's about, no, I'll just skip over that one. There's nothing. It's like, I'm still, I'm still just getting, it's so freaking hot in here. You just ran away because our air conditioning is stuffed. It's so hot. Anyway, um,
Yeah, I think, though, that this sets up these examples. I mean, the fog of war, perhaps, but could so many soldiers see something like that and then make up a story? Maybe, but I don't think they would. I don't think this is shell shock. I think this is consistent with what the phenomenon is, and it's changing and exposing itself to people. Well, I think it's worth mentioning that some of these stories, you are applying them to this whole phenomenon, but a lot of what you're describing, especially that last one,
It's more in the realm of spirits and, you know, seeing non-physical things flying around in other dimensions. That's right. Manifesting. It's more in line with like Bigfoot rather than a UFO or a drone or some kind of technology. Well, you did remind me of an outlying story because when I was, you know, putting this together, I thought that I would include another couple of cases, but they didn't really fit for the theme I was going for. But there was this great example of where it's like, it wasn't just, this is a well-known case out of Vietnam.
But you've got people like Mac Maloney, for example, that have dug into more sorts of reports that come from the Vietnam War. I mean, he did UFOs in wartime, so he's looked at a lot of different battles. But Vietnam, there was one report, and I think Nick Redfern reported on this as well, was that there was a guy that, for whatever reason,
He was trudging through the, I think it was a battlefield and it somehow gotten separated from his platoon or his group and he was lost, right? And he heard these voices and he realized that it was the enemy and he was done for, like he was finished. And...
for whatever reason, I believe something pushed him down and then obliterated the army, like the forces that were around him. And he stood up and there was like this tall humanoid with this white flowing cloak kind of just standing there smiling at him and it disappeared. So this suggestion that it was like some type of guardian angel or a forest spirit that was protecting him, it's like...
There's lots of reports that are out there. Yeah, it's not a Pleiadian warrior angel from Cyclone IV. Well, it's funny, but this works out quite nicely for the next piece, though. Or is it? Well, maybe, right? Because there are also these angel-like things that show up. Play the next one for me, please, Ben. This is Westex? Number seven, yeah.
And in fact, I continue to receive accounts of these flying humanoid type creatures. One of the most recent was a gentleman that lived out in West Texas. He caught in touch with me and I interviewed this gentleman over the phone many times and he comes off as extremely sincere and credible. And what he tells me is that he was out one night with his wife kind of looking at the stars.
in an approaching storm system. And similar to the bird woman of Da Nang, they saw this figure approaching them. And when it got right over their heads, he said it was essentially a man-like creature with long flowing hair and giant black angelic wings.
And he said this thing would have stood about 10 or 14 feet tall. It had very high cheekbones and a kind of a chisel look to its face, facial features. And, you know, again, it soared right over their heads. What are these things? And that, yeah, ties back in actually, funnily enough, to the story that I wasn't going to include. So it's like, I don't know. Are they...
Are they some type of extraterrestrial entities that have, I don't know, they want to engage with humanity, but they don't know how? Or is it that these are just simply stories of people being in very stressful situations and these thoughts manifest? I don't know what to make of these things. But again, they keep occurring. They keep on happening. They keep on happening to people that are normal people that aren't prone to making up stories and they happen all across the world.
And it's still occurring now. We go back to the drones now. It's like, it's just a new iteration of what has been happening for such a long time. The last thing I want to actually include though, from that discussion, I'll link to the full thing in the show notes at mysteriousuniverse.org. But it's a great, you know, a good old classic legendary, Mark Bell, is the contagion effect, which is also attached to this type of activity. There are many, many accounts of Mothman, Owlman and other flying humanoid creatures being
chasing and terrorizing humans. So they do, in fact, seem to, for whatever reason, they want to terrify us. They want to frighten us. You know, I guess if you want to characterize that as demonic, then that's fair. You know, this reminds me of an interesting sighting, a case that occurred fairly recently in 2006, and this refers to the
the man bat of Briggs Road, Wisconsin. According to Linda, who was the initial investigator, these two gentlemen of Native American descent were driving home one evening in a place called Holman, Wisconsin, which is very close to La Crosse. And suddenly this creature that you see there dived out of the treetops and basically dive-bombed the pickup truck they were driving in.
And they described it as having a human-like form with bat-like wings, a hideous face with long fangs, and kind of a pronounced rib cage and long claws. Well, this thing dive-bombed their pickup truck and took off. And shortly thereafter, they could hear this ringing noise, a very high-pitched ringing noise that actually forced them to pull over to the side of the road where they both became violently ill.
Shortly thereafter, they got home and began to experience all kinds of strange things. Their dog, which was normally very affable and friendly, was hiding and cowering under the bed. They were hearing strange noises, banging noises around the outside of their house as if something, some type of unseen force was banging on their walls and harassing them.
So this is just an example of kind of the attachment aspect of the flying humanoid phenomenon. Yeah, so essentially they got tagged, right? This is probably more consistent with the hitchhiker effect that we've seen more recently with Skinwalker Ranch, where people go to investigate Skinwalker Ranch and they seemingly get something attached to them. They go home and it starts not only haunting their homes, but also their families and their colleagues, and it kind of snowballs into this strange activity. But again, this is something which is quite consistent.
I was looking into some other reports, right? There's a bunch of reports that you've got these weird winged type creatures that seemingly encounter people. And when they have the encounter and the person is terrified, they go home. Guess what happens? They have poltergeist activity in their home. And most of the reports are very kind of banal by our standards in the sense that it's just they'll hear a rapping or there'll be pools of water. Um,
But then in other circumstances, there are people that see UFOs. They get tagged by some beam of light or something. And also what will happen? Exactly the same thing. They go home. They have poltergeist activity in their home. Weird shadows start appearing. It's the same phenomena that people are experiencing, but just in a different format. Well, the question is, is the new activity with these drones...
similar in any way to that? It appears to be in the sense that what it always does, this is throughout the years, it deliberately brings attention to itself. It deliberately brings it. It uses lights. It's always very verbose. It acts in such a strange way. It generates huge amounts of noise. And in doing so, it gets people looking at it, whether or not it's flying humanoids that are glowing, drones that are flashing weird lights and making noise. It's all the same. Look at this angle from the one in New Jersey. Look how it turns.
Look at that. Oh, that's weird. That's almost like turning on a dime. It's like a right angle turn. Then off it goes. Look at that though. And the flashing of the lights. But yeah, you're right. Like the navigation lights are just. Is it just a plane though? I mean, maybe that's one possibility. But is it a plane? Can a plane turn in a right hand turn? I can't. I don't know. No, planes can't ride. Unless, yeah, that's got to be, if that's propeller driven.
But you know what I don't understand? How is it in the 20... And I know I'm going to sound like every skeptic that comes out, right? Because everyone has a camera these days in their mobile phone. But how is it that in 2024, with the types of zoom lenses we have on even the iPhones now, how is it no one's got a decent picture of what this thing is? But these are decent pictures. How can you say that's not a decent picture? Because you and I... We're getting it as close as you could possibly expect. But you and I are going... You just said, is that a plane?
Yeah, but I think even if you zoomed right in at night, you would still be asking that question. Yeah, that's true.
Yeah, it's bizarre. It's absolutely surreal. But what it's doing again, this is what they always do. And look at some of these images. Yeah, okay. So I see that they've applied some type of filter to that to see. It does have a very plain kind of look. But it says there in the tweet or the X that it's not a plain light pattern that is consistent with FAA guidelines. This is what people have been arguing. That yes, it has the lights where you would expect a plane to have lights. You can see wings. You can see a tail. You can see everything a plane should have. But it's not to spec. It's not.
something that's following aviation guidelines. It's from somewhere else, which is where the weirdness comes in. That's where the questions come in. And the loud noise. But also, right, even drones, if they're, you know, fueled by gas, for example, I mean, surely they can't be electric because how, even with a six foot drone,
you know, a six foot wingspan on that, the battery must be huge and batteries are heavy. So it comes back to the question if, if it's from another adversarial nation, an adversarial state, have they cracked? Why does it need to be so big? Exactly. And the question of why is it so conspicuous? It doesn't make any sense because this is what the phenomena does. And a really great example. And I go back to Ken Gerhard's work as well, because he's like, look,
this kind of phenomenon. Let's take a look at Spring-Heeled Jack. Spring-Heeled Jack, even though it's like this old tropey kind of story, but it really grabs the attention. So Spring-Heeled Jack
first was encountered in October of 1837. So it's an old report. He attacked a young woman named Mary Stevens at a place called Clapham Common in South London. He allegedly ripped at her clothes and kissed her face before her cries of help caused him to flee the scene. The following day, Jack leapt in front of a horse-drawn carriage, causing a crash and injuring the driver. But what this thing was doing, right, you can go, oh, it's just some pervert in a cape. But this thing was seemingly able to leap
to heights that would be impossible for a normal human being. Not only that, it did strange things. So there was one example that came from a woman called Jane Alsop. This is again in February of 1838. Jane heard her doorbell ringing violently. She peered through the front gate, but all she could see was this tall shadowy figure who claimed to be a police officer. The man was calling out saying, for God's sake, bring me a light. We've just caught Spring Hill Jack. So obviously the reporter's
Ports have been getting, again, creating hysteria amongst the community. They'd caught Spring Hill Jack in the lane. As soon as she returned with a candle, the individual seized it from her, discarded his cloak and held the flame up to his face, revealing a hideous and frightful feature.
Like the other flying humanoids. Like this weird look about them. He also was wearing a dark, large helmet and a tight bodysuit that resembled a white oil skin. Apparently he vomited forth a quantity of blue and white flames from his mouth. His eyes resembled balls of fire. Like Mothman.
Other flying creatures, other flying humanoids. He tried to rip her gown, but after a valiant struggle, she managed to break free and he dashed off, disappearing after using his steely claws to climb over a wall. What is this? And you go, okay, well, this could just be an old report, but there were multitudes of people who encountered this. He resurfaced in 1845, then 1877, but even more recently as 2012.
On Valentine's Day in 2012, there was a family from Banstead, a suburb of South London. They claimed to have witnessed a spring-heeled jack creature while travelling home in a taxi cab. According to a British website called Your Local Guardian, Scott Martin and his wife and son spotted a shadowy man-like figure dashing across a thoroughfare and leaping up a 15-foot tall fence in a fluid motion.
that would be impossible for any human being to be able to achieve. Apparently, the taxi driver was so freaked out by the incident that he was too scared to drive back alone.
It's 2012. Do you see what's going on here? It's like the phenomenon, even though it's not flying phenomena, it's this weird event that starts off and it starts in one way and it occurs again a couple of decades later and then a couple of decades later. And then, you know, in more modern times, it feels like all of paranormal phenomena seems to come in these waves. It's like, why do we call them UFO flaps? Because we do. Like, why was it 1973 that there was all these weird Bigfoot flaps that were connected to UFOs in Pennsylvania? And it's like,
This stuff is cyclic in nature, and I truly feel, and I hope what I've described to you today at least puts into your mind that, yeah, look, there could be a perfectly rational, although very unusual from a modern sense, reason for what's going on over New Jersey.
Or is it just slightly possible that this is just another occurrence of the phenomena attempting to interact with us and get our attention? And that's what fuels it.
And that's how it keeps going. I think one thing's for sure is that we're not going to get any answers. No, we're not. The fact that this is occurring in the UK and the United States in lockstep. Over military bases, power plants, important locations, and we've got nada. It does point to it being beyond the usual suspects. But, you know, you have to go back to, you know, Sue Brown's conclusion from the early 2000s, which was that...
nothing ever happens. She was right. I mean, she was pretty controversial with the way she put it out there, but she was right. I don't even want to begin to ask how you found that, but
It's the go-to classic. Oh, I'm sure it is. I'm joking, but there is, in a sense, truth to that. You're right. Nothing ever happens. I think this is what you're saying, is that the phenomenon comes and goes. Well, I don't want to be so defeated. The strangeness changes over the decades, but...
But everything we're talking about now with drone incursions, the things people are excited about, the things people are seeing occurred in the 1950s, occurred in the 1970s, occurred in the 1990s, occurred in the 2010s. And it goes away. It stops. And we still don't have any answers. There's no novel suggestions about what's going on. There's no definitive proof about the paranormal nature to any of it. Nope.
We're just back at square one yet again. And which is immensely frustrating. It's tedious. It is tedious because yeah, you're right. It is. And what it does though, guess what it does? It brings a whole new generation of people back into the fold because now you'll have a bunch of people, not many, but you will have a bunch of people to be like, that's odd.
That's weird. And what will they start doing? They'll start digging into paranormal phenomena. And I feel like that's how the phenomena keeps itself going. It's like it has to kind of pop up every now and again to grab a few headlines. It gets the attention, it gets the conscious energy that it needs, and then it hibernates for a couple of decades until it decides that it wants to come back again and get more attention and more energy. What do you think it is?
I'm going to go with foreign state actors. I think that it's been smuggled in. It's probably China. I think we may, and we might know in the next couple of weeks because it might just be that then they go, well, look what we managed to do and we flew over all the, but then again, I go back to that could trigger a war and I don't even think China would be that arrogant. I don't think they'd display that level of arrogance, but perhaps they would. I don't know. I'm leaning towards private companies. Maybe, but that would be extremely
extremely irresponsible to do. Pretty flashy way to advertise your tech to the people that are going to buy it. Yeah, but also terrifying a large majority of the community. You're flying these around and you're like, what are you going to do about it? What are you going to do about it?
Try stopping it. Isn't that an incredible sales pitch to your potential customers? Look at our craft that we're flying around and no one can do anything about it. We can put it wherever we want. I think you might be onto something. We can put all these lights on it.
What are you going to do? Yeah, I think you might be onto something. I still kind of then err back to also the possibility of high strangeness and it being associated with paranormal events. But yeah, that's, I think you could be onto it there. The thing is, if you live in China, then you look in the sky and you just see some crazy drone show every day. But is that AI or is it actually real? That's real. Well, that's probably AI, but you get what I'm saying. I get what you're saying. You get what I'm saying.
Well, yeah, interesting stuff. We'll have to keep an eye on the headlines and see what else pops up. No drones in Australia. No. Nothing ever happens here. Nothing ever happens here, ever. It's very apt here. We're going to move on to some different stuff coming up in our Plus extension. I'm going to extend the work of Bruce Moen, who we covered last week. We're going to be looking at Voyage Beyond Doubt.
Exploring the afterlife. We're going to be charging up the internal lasers of, well, the internal crystals of the Earth with lasers. We're going to be battling with ancient wands from the astral realm in group workshops. Why does that Spock-Kirk music start playing in my head when you say that?
