Alright, coming up on this episode, the eagles are the last unbeaten ten team in the nfl. We eagles, who would have thunk not me also chiefs looking good back on that horse. You what you thought we're going to get back into that as well, as well as some media criticism and maybe a fun surprise.

But first, there's always news from new heights. We've got a second prime time show out. I know you are playing. I watched that happen live. I gotto say it's pretty ool to get shouted down on prime time.

IT is pretty cool women, especially about, you know, the the ones that have been doing IT for such a long time. The guys that are the best to doing IT men like micro s's worth, has been doing a three years.

O toro seemed like he was genuinely a excited about. He thought he was good. I don't think I ent where this is. He didn't seem like key really thought I was as good as I don't know.

He is a power sky, a talk shoal kind of guy, you know maybe .

I think you know he I will say I think he he is I don't know if he owns the majority stake, but he's definitely involved in pf f. So I think you're little pf f conspiracy might have skewed his opinions about .

this podcast. And this is not nice, you know, it's just a conspiracy. Nobody really believes what I said, do they?

I sure don't, Chris, if you're watching, we're not just about in experience. And thank you for the shadow. Next bit of news, travis, is your birthday.

Well, not today. But when this air are to be your birthday, what do you think? Men, the big thirty three, Larry bird.

great hill. Baby, 5, three, three. Man, these legs fear, like they're twenty five.

Baby, especially after a win like that. Man, that was fun. Then, no, I mean, birthdays are always fun.

I always, I can't get excited for my own birthday. En, I am here for everybody else's member. When it's mine, I get real fade off into the background. But yeah, I don't like, I don't like you crazy on my birthday. I like to just know, be around friends and family.

Yes, after after twenty one birthdays, are you having .

some having people saying happy birthday to me is one of the most awkward feelings ever like like that feeling for me is just like for the like ten, six as i'm just sit there like.

all right, right? We all know how this ends and we're all just going to continue IT. I would know .

why I would know why I feel like that, but IT is just awkward for me.

So I don't think you're alone in that. I think that's pretty much everybody who's ever had some of them outside of a child. Alright, no other new. I I plug, I got to plug my own deal right now with underdog, a airline finally launched. Yes, nation, a para pumped about .

a way to get my, yeah, well, I mean, we're in a of life .

so you can go and buy whatever you ready. Supporter, yeah. Underdog PH l 点 com you know we finally have it's been a long time in the making over a year now。 Really, really excited to see the kid's lives that this affects in the fold of area.

Um and also just bring joy to the in pride to the city the to the city fold of you I think um you know that's the main that reason we are kind of came up with the apparent line is want to have fun and and to the you know makes some positive change for our future if you're out there field of your fans, why not done some great shirts and uh maybe a Fanny pack, whatever any pet of such your needs uh for some charity, go under our P H L account or under our P H L uh social media sites to check out the merch they from the sport and in other news, were still no number one podcast in the world about that number one sports pogis. I know, I know, thanks to all of you. We didn't know IT. IT feels great, especially because we are very good at and for some reason guys like listen to us. So thank you for listening to us.

You keep them back. rand. I will get IT.

but thank you in honor of all of you watching and commenting and subscribing and rating, we're going to read some comments. First comment is from Austin cruelty and a rough lesson. The Kelsey brother's podcast new heights is a great listen if you're tired of hearing macphee tells stories about.

hey, come on now, this isn't that kind of show, not that kind of show. We pump up everybody, especially pat mcafee, and his stories are electric.

Pat talks about a lot of stuff, is an unbelieving personality um anything from football, wrestling to a gambling pats got pretty much all your bases covered. So we here at the new height spot caster, amazing fans to the patch of the show. So incredible. And I think what .

awesome is actually saying, I don't think he's taking to share pad, I think is actually saying, you know, it's a solid listen if you know you're into that kind of show like a nfl style show, so shut out to us and appreciate the the love man.

I didn't know that OK cool. I don't .

think you actually taking a shot of pad. I mean, it's a great show. It's a great listen. I I listen to pay back.

We show all the time. He was a being cruel.

So I did pretty good.

The next comment we have is from mom at dana. Kelsey, I love you both just the same.

Mom, yes, she's so sweet. Man, what to say? I mean, he is sweet.

It's a sweet thing to say. I don't know if I believe IT but know it's a sweeter same I think we know which when he goes more. She's already mentioned .

that you love you to mom and thank .

you to everyone who's been listening and subscribing, commenting, posting anything. Speaking of posting, we're got our first bit of fan art last week. We got a little sexy batman .

post sexy bat. Man, you ve got a repost of that. I believe I did.

I had to correct everyone. Um there was a little bit of artwork. Air.

hard work, error care. It's a car too. Well, it's an expression of you.

Well, i'm just saying it's it's a 呀。 I just want to make sure that we're not lying to viewers or listeners or anybody watching the show. I like to be very transparent and who I am as a human being in person. Yeah, I think we don't talk.

I can go.

You say I and thought that .

the bulge on sexy batmen in in the picture was very generous, even twisted, even that reach throw IT up on the instagram story. So I mean, you know, it's his interpretation of Jason, or a sexy bad man being Jason. So you never know.

I mean, maybe sexy batman's wearing a cup to protect the boy's underneath. I just, you know, I know i've see myself football pants a lot, man, never once. And I look .

like that are right in time for the twelve bold topics to wrap up, week four in the nf, fillon, starting off with both of our games, how we do this, as always, j. Tional tea at the topics on my game, and L, T, F, all the topics on his game. Start with the sunday night showdown. Baby.

yeah, ban. You guys rebounded in amazing fashion from your last week's first loss and court. Tric, I need to shows you a little more fun this week, forty one to thirty one over the bucks. The last time you guys faced obviously didn't end up so great for the chiefs. There was a super able championed chip for the tape bay back in years in tampa.

a code, dear men.

how did you feel? How do game feel? IT was awesome to watch. You guys looked electric coming out right out of the gates.

Got out to one to twenty one, three point lead, one point in the first quarter. Maybe that was one of the IT was a great grey game to watch. Would you would feel exactly .

what you said electrics man actually elected talking about last week about how we were, you know, we were, I wants to say, dead. But we didn't have the energy on the sideline that that we wanted.

And i've mentioned in numerous, numerous times, I could have been Better in terms of a leader in showing that um because that that energy is infectious, you know and number one way to show energies to play your title of man, go out there and just play as hard as you can on every single play when you get the ball, run as hard as you can. You show that when you get knocked down, get up as fast as you can, you know, show that you have a sense of urgency to remain on attack at all times. And and that's what you saw.

You saw running backs flying downhill. You saw offence of line get in the second level. You saw wide receivers and tightens, given involved in the run game, and when when guys caught all into the past game of things like that and then you saw a dial in very well prepped, very well thought out Patrick, my homes spend.

You could tell that guy was died in from the beginning of the week um and he was song, he was on fireman. When he's out there, make a place like that, that just means he's comfortable. He's if he understands what he seeing and he understands how the difference is, come in, adam and he can just go go back there and just be self men and a fun that's a fun due to play with when when he's playing like that.

Ah he's fun to watch when he is just dial in an on point. But man, you really know he's fun to watch when he's going off the cuff and just making these unbelievable plays that played down the red zone where scram, scram, bled out to his right spin move finger role for the time that you .

like the site IT was very nice .

was so what .

what do you think lead to the .

difference this week why we guys so much more empt up?

I think IT was a the sower tae in our mouth. Um I think that was IT was a .

combination the game or from the this .

is a completely different game. I don't think this was a super bull rematch. I don't think IT was that kind of mentality.

I think um the guys that were the the people that were in the building that were here when we played in the super pool, they might have had a shower taste our mouth from that game. But it's two completely different teams. So it's did andy .

talk about IT all? Did he bring up the sumo game at all during the week?

And he was all figuring out how we don't put ourselves in that position or how we don't make the mistakes that we made last week against the courts. That was a complete move on game from the coals and trying to make sure that we never put ourselves or put what we put out on tape, you know.

do so. So I didn't feel good at all because I know the last time you, in particular, lot of yard against the bucks in that suba game. But what did I feel like for you to be back out on the field? Like did you feel vindicated a little bit going out there and having the game that you did? I know you were rough on yourself last week trap the big touchdown pass, but this week, I mean.

almost hundred yards touched down. No, I one hundred hundred percent, I think, goes back to say, and how I had that shower take in my mouth, any time I played bad against the team, the next opportunity I get to play that team, I am fired up. Men, i'm i'm ready to get going and they didn't get my best fight. I'm going to give him my best fight, you know and i'm i'm going to prepare so that my opportunities that I do get i'm ready for would that be and said, um IT was good to feel that after the game the fact that know I had gave them, I feel like I got the Better the match across the board and that, you know, we came out with a win and we came out with energy and I LED my team to Victory. I help leave my team to Victory and and that feeling is is the best feeling .

after game yeah you guys all one hundred in every phase, I seem like everybody was fired up, was a very fun game to watch on the chief s behind the other season is in full swing. And that's why we need to tell you about our special hook up for today.

sponsor cc. And we have a special count for the nine two percenters. You can get ten percent off any ticket on c.

ky. With the code, you guessed IT. New heights.

And that works for sports concerts, company shows, going to see travis and chief play you name IT save yourselves some money, open the seek y gap and add code new heights to your account to get ten percent off your next order. Doesn't matter if you've used seeking before that right IT does not .

matter once again, that's code new heights for ten percent off.

The farmers is dog. We love our dogs. That's right. They complete us. And we all want piece of mind that we're doing the best we can to help ensure that they're healthy and happy.

The farm er's dog makes and delivers fresh, healthy dog food right to your door, is developed to buy vest, nutritionally baLanced and made from real meeting veggies about that to a safety standards of human friends.

Traditional dry and what dog food options are highly process, can you use much lower quality ingredients than they claim to, and are extremely difficult to portion accurate?

That's right. The farmers s dog isn't just fresh food, it's higher quality food. And they also send the food proportion specifically for your dog. That's right. This makes IT easy to help maintain their ideal way.

Dogs at a healthy way can live up to two and half years longer than over .

way dogs IT doesn't matter if your dog is Young or old, is always the right time to begin investing in their health.

Get fifty percent off your first box of fresh, healthy food at the farmers talk, ducks comes less new height plus you get free shipping sleep number.

The annihilation have been partnering since two thousand and eighteen to bring quality sleep to a lead athletes.

It's for good reason as super able champions. We know how important is for cover to sleep in a great bed. Plus sleep number beds have great features, including the ability to .

adjust ferme sleep number. Smart beds show you your sleep quality every morning in the sleep number APP.

How does IT coming up? Who does IT love fresh new bedding or pillows? Or if you are in the market for a bed, if you haven't checked out a sleep number store, now is a great time.

We talked about your start from this past week for someone that never played titan growing up. What's if you like to be one of the all time leaders and receiving yard? You're finally you're five right now, all time in receiving yards in thigh and you finally pass rock. So yeah.

what's I feel like it's it's crazy men. And I honestly gone from number six on that list to five on that list really doesn't change for me. I think being recognized or being in that group of guys right there, because it's it's an hour, man.

And I was an honor when I, like I said, when I was at six, and ground was ahead of me, because I I look at ground is one of the best to ever do IT IT takes me back to when I was in college. And and nobody knew that guy, travis guilty. Nobody knew that guy. And I was hoping, who's that I who is that guy? Who's that?

He's A A from a quarter back that .

moved the tight and that didn't take foobar series, didn't didn't take .

a perfect short. Yeah.

exactly. I was. I was just, I was. I was nothing in terms of on anybody's rate are in the nfl. Outside of cinta adi barca fans are client hans like clevi sports, high school sports. Nobody knew who who I was and moving into my senior year, nobody know who I was and having to switch that dial and turn and in to something that you could be proud of, reading those guys names, often thinking that one day I could be a part of, you know, that group of of guys you know listed on on a sheet paper accomplishing the things that they would ve accomplished that was all a dream man IT was all IT was IT was nothing but a fantasy and .

um trying to almost didn't .

feel realistic now at that point my life chance I mean nobody even knew who I was so IT IT was just you know me dreaming and and and tried to figure out exactly how to get to that point and to be honest, I started with just eliminating all the distractions of my life what was distracting me from being a great football player. My focus on the field.

Where is your focus on the field? Is that on the defense? what? What if? If i'm not understanding the defense of side of the ball, how I gna be good at what i'm doing, another distraction off the field.

What are you doing when you're not in the facility? Are you treating yourself like a professional athlete? Are you are you showing people that you want to you want to take this opportunity and turn IT into a profession knowing that you're in school and you're being evaluated? I wasn't showing any of that and not my focus shares.

Heck wasn't on the things that he needed to be on when I was practicing, when I was in a game. So eliminating distractions, taking the party aspect out of IT stopped going into bars. I stopped hang and out.

stop going stop line. You stop going in the bar.

Come on up and you can ask anybody. The verse .

is an another brother.

The scene. What I was going through in college was I had too much fun, and I was easily pulled away from what I needed to focus on, so that the being in that scene, there was always another party, there was always another social event to go to, and there was always less time for me to focus on what I needed to focus on.

That that being said, focusing, directing my life in a way that would set me up and and let me be prepared to be accountable on the field. So I started learning more about football, I started learning more about defence, and I started understanding why we're calling these plays instead of just get in a hudden and call in a play. I started understanding how to fundamentally get after a guy in the run game, how to fundamentally get open in the past game. Um be friendly to the courteous c all these things of the decisions that you make IT starts with what how I onna approach this day when I wake up and I approached my day completely different, known that he was my last, that my last opportunity to to even get on a radar so I could get a chance to be in in the nfl. Yeah yes.

we let's go into your background for the listeners. I don't know. So travis, coming out of high school as a quarterback goes a since and adi and a second year or since.

And adi has the unfortunate circumstances of getting drug test for marijuana on a insta test. So we suspended for a four, kicked off the kicked off the team, had to earn his way back. Once he get back, he's moved to tight end and he deals with some injuries, gets the shoulder injury here. And so really, for your entire college, gree really only played one full season which was .

senior year correct.

And um I remember that time because I was there for most of IT outside your last two years, right? Um and I think what you went through um was one of the best things that could happen to, I really do. I think university is a strength. I think university um makes people Better, makes people stronger, makes people are aware of in in, in, in humble enough that this whole thing can be gone and IT makes you appreciative one hundred percent .

I feel bad .

for you know in in some cases the five star arrival recruit who has unbelievable college career then goes to the prose and his draft first overall and has to figure that that that life lesson out later you and our both fortunate to deal with that early on in college and in in a way that really wasn't you that we could come back from.

Is that the right point in our careers? And IT really helped us and you, but you are always going to be up there, your talent alone at night and was always going to be well suit. How do you feel when they first told you you're going to be attired?

Honestly, when I got moved, the tight end IT was IT was a punch of the gutman. I always dreamed about being a quarterback, not only in college, but in the nfl. But I think that once I started playing the position, I really found a love for the game that I didn't, I didn't have before.

And there was just a lot more stuff that I could do that I was, like, more comfortable with. There was a physical aspect that I genuinely thrilly enjoyed um and then on top of that um I had immediate success with that. You know my first couple years I quarter back, I was been screamed up by brian Kelly from I throwing the ball.

So IT was IT was a completely different practice. You know, when he was, I was kind of like a praise during practice instead of me just didn't screamed at my angry men of the red face once I found that love for IT, my my passion for the game change, my passion for, you know, coming into the facility and and wanting to get Better changed. And I just ran with IT and and there was a blast.

There was two years I have play in college. Um I still got a good relationship with with a lot of guys they were in that building and and I really catapulted me to to feel comfortable on the field because of how hard, how much harder I was working to be great the titan for sure because I called her back. I got I I was given a package.

I wasn't IT was an interesting scenario. You know, he wasn't just all he's the quota. He was kind of like he's a running guy. Let's started to figure out how we can make a or put him in the office. And once I moved the tight and I was on the field every single play, and I was out there having a blast, hidden guys making big place, and I just spent running with IT ever sense?

yeah. I think I think the vast majority guys in the nfl have changed position at some point or another. And I don't think that that's surprising to see the least. I think I think change position is great.

And if for any Young guys out there that are upset about changing position where you are in pv, high school, college, the nfl um embraced IT man, I used to play lime back or running back play receiver. At one point, travis played courter back for a long time before I moved over the tight. And I know so many teammates in mind, especially often to limb, and that have been skill position players before.

Um this game has a way of finding the position that suits you and in is gear towards skill set. And the more you you fight IT, I seen I fight IT and I just hasn't worked out. And in the guys that embrace IT and really take the new position, not only are usually more skilled and talented for that position but also you Carry over that frame of reference in the position you just had. I play when I play center, I think about and I think feel run .

up where .

linebackers are aligned. You don't mean like I think when I was a line backer, I line over there is because we were doing this by line up here because we were doing this and and I Carry that over and to what I do.

one thousand of the .

same yeah I and I mean imagine thinking of being a road runner in a tight and but also uh thinking about IT from the from the perspective of the cortege. C, that's A A tremendous strain.

thousand percent I see in on top of that just being in that being in that locker or not to being in that locker but being in that 呃, what is IT skill position, like meeting, hearing, what what they are being taught, what do we like, what the word, you know, we're running this high, low on on the flat defender. Well, yeah, you need to run your flat as fast as you can to try and to absorb the flat defender so that we can throw over the topic, get a big gain instead of just, oh, I just I got to run the flat out.

just a flat.

You mean there's more intention to and you take IT over and then on top of that, no understanding the direct that he he's at back there. You know how fast he needs to get the ball. A lot of stuff is going through his head. So how can I get open as friendly and as fast as possible you to make his job easier?

So we've talked enough about you being as great as you are, actually do the best time I ever who's on your titan mount rushmore.

I don't do this, man. You're going to make me select three. You are mention .

that for titan.

And I know unless you're .

putting yourself on there, which there I mean, you are there.

but I think you I .

put yourself there .

though there there is a more i'd Better be on I agree .

with you who who the other three who the other .

three um i'll say like this, if you're going to have a mount rushmore, you're leaving some guys off so I don't want anybody to get bud hurt here cause I don't want anybody to feel like i'm going to a disrespect them by not putting them up there. But first of his killin was so senior he was the first of that breed that I aide offence to be able to throw the tight end all the time.

I think he changed the game and gave different perspective to what the tight position could be. I think tony can sales year in ear out guys, a full, just careful of just unbelievable plays and just change position again. A guy that made IT possible to be the number one option as a titan. And then this is where IT gets tRicky. This where he is tRicky.

either either one thousand percent.

You can just keep going back there. Only guy for the modern air that I would put up there definitely is robyn casi. You ve got to put .

ground on the man you're going on ground over antonio gates.

See.

this is why I want to do.

why I didn't want to do this. man. Brock was one of the most dominant football players ever play this game.

When he was on the field at in his prime, you could not touch that dude, and he was weakened, weak out, you could see how teams were defending him. Did matter you getting bracket time still throw out up to and you can meet, made the play. He inspired me a lot when I made that transition into the titan room. You know, I saw that I saw exactly how this title because he could have success and and I tried to emulate a lot of that. So he's in my opinion on there without a doubt um already and then um without be giving any reason why i'm on there.

Two there's the man rushmore tight and previous culser eyes last bit of the game. Um obviously, we've had our fair share of courter back sneak discussions on this podcast. You guys went with the titan sneak is it's in the played .

well but is somebody .

came to city? Listen to the pod. I mean.

that we might have a few listeners got weird hips.

I heard himself from N Q, B, snake. And all the sudden.

little direction.

travel, healthy misdirection .

path was literally, for those that didn't see the game, were we were in a formation where he was too tight ends, the one, the other titan? No, agree. Other, other titan on the field? No, agree.

When in motion, as he's in motion pad is screaming to the left side of the formation, pointing, saying, I don't know what, I didn't even hear what he said. I just heard his voice in the background, and i'd see the entire defense looking the direction that he's pointing. I didn't do this in practice.

I didn't do the oldest chicken, the book back .

to sneak every time I got the defense. Sit on their heels. men. I can't help.

I think that we've become the podcast of the sneak a quarter back titan. anybody. So uh, I got I think we had a hand in that touchdown.

I really do snecky good. It's sneaky. Good men .

already said .

to know a grade. And by the way, that that touched down was also it's been in the playbook for about two years now, ever since .

pack jud win .

for the dozer. Blake bell. Blake bell got banged up this this preseason, so but his place still lives on. And just next .

meeting in two years.

what they me as they have you get you said .

it's been in there for two years.

We haven't called IT. No, it's been in over two years. We've called IT numerous times. We just haven't .

called IT with noa. God, IT a good job. nowhere.

And andy, keep things to the public eye. Js, one, the eagles of the last on biden team and foreigners .

feel good.

a good man. I tell you what I didn't call IT. I don't I don't see a common men. You guys.

you I I think there .

was a lot of question about what you guys we're capable of doing coming into the year know a lot of high expectations, but there's still a lot of questions. You know, we haven't seen this office and go, but now we have and IT is fun to watch. Rather, even in a rainy, I was a sleep was IT OK. How bad was a cold rain? It's just cold.

Rain is wet, cold that had been raining all day and all again, to all game. There was something coming on. We got worse than the second half.

The surface wasn't that bad, luckily, but I was hard on the is. As somebody who handles the ball, there is nothing more nervous king than a ball that is soaking wet. I mean, every snap, i'm just like, please do not do please make this kip up .

to this guy.

Don't please let us. He had one snapped issue, wasn't to follow the rain.

He was my own fault. Time to the .

football do in the gate, but IT rain games, or nerve, asking for centers.

to say the least. Before we get into the full game breakdown, you gotta a talk to me. And, uh, everyone's asking about the popcorn. Baby, did you eat all of the popcorn that is proud, definitely the biggest bag of popcorn. I I say i've een .

so that popcorn was actually why it's my baby, why baby, why baby turned three years old on sunday, so big swoop gave her the biggest bag of popcorn you can ever ask. And um after the game he was my duty to make sure that big pop on bag meat at home. We did not eat all of IT, but my daughter and I did love that popcorn. Thank you to swipe in the eagles for making .

my daughter's day yes, got a love of them. So the pop Warner wasn't fully but right. Jack went up fourteen early, but the eagles rally back of twenty nine unanswered points at second court.

You guys just exploded, I think at twenty in the second quarter alone, if I remember correctly, man, but that was that was fun. Man, the first double digit uh deficit was a nice of seeing the team really rally back. I mean, we are talking about IT handling adversity um last week with the with cheese and in india. Yes, how are you feeling about how your team handle that situation?

Feel great. I mean, whenever you can come back down fourteen early with through a big six first drive of the game, you know those are difficult things to come back from.

And defense stepped up big, played another phenomenal game uh, in the offence, got IT together there in the second half and ended up finishing with a really strong attack in the run game, uh, which we had to do with the conditions away they were yeah um main university we talk about all this politics. We such a great thing for you. You don't want IT, when is there? But all great teams find a way to come out on top.

You know, every team is going to go through adversity. You going to be downed points. The best teams find a way to stay, stay right in the area. You need to be to get IT done. In the end, you can hate we've we've done enough rocking, we done.

oh, now we've done enough. Rocky, you're gonna wait to files. Done enough. Rocky, when I come out with another one, baby, alright. So any weather game stories, man, I did was bad, whether we were talking about the conditions, but you get good, you good weather games stories.

the best weather game. So I got to the snowball from two thousand and thirteen. IT was we went out for warmups, and there's nothing on the ground.

And all the same time we come back out for the game. And IT is covered. I mean, covered. Get, no, it's a blizz.

A Z IT just kept coming down to IT .

did not stop. And, uh, the lions were wearing weight. So i'm literally in my stands.

I look up and I cannot see the second diary. I going to see the safety I like. This is a competitive advantage i've ever seen one. And luckily, in the second half of shame, of course, somehow found away to be the only person that could get traction. I remember .

we unbelievable .

game is unbelievable. And that's why do whether games are the best? They are annoying at the time, but there's some about whether it's rain, md, snow IT makes the game like magical a little bit like IT becomes much .

more a game.

Yeah IT really does. And this game, this last one with the jack was so physical. Um I mean, you had to be and they have a great run defense. They have they got a bunch of athletes.

men, a bunch of athletes, a bunch of first round picks are just flying around right now.

They were the number one rush defence in the nfl through the first three weeks, and they were there for a reason. I mean, these guides are start of front. And we knew in order to be competitive in arrange, you ve got to be able to run the bowyer going to have to be able to somehow find a way to get that .

done in talking about being still talking about being being style. Jeff tAlland, just jeff tAlland. He is he the goat? You guys is just at the number one run defense and in the in in the league, and you guys just walked him.

I don't like using the term goal. I feel like everybody go him goat, yeah whatever .

him him starts .

amazing. You know he's regarded as one of the best, if not the best of in the line coaches in the business for a reason. Whether this is teaching his a his schematics, how we game plans, all of that is important um but man, what I really think makes jeff out an incredible is a is his mentality to each and every day his consistency, his energy, his passion. Man, you can't go into a meeting with just stand and think that you're going to be just on this here, you know, not paying attention.

He's gone to ask you movies .

if you're not ready to into that question, he is going to like e .

to alive. Man, oh, my goi .

love that I ve.

I love a good online coach. Man, there, there are few individuals that can control three hundred pound behaviors like that, and that takes a special man. We got one, two and eighty hecking, but just dance, obviously one of the best.

And andy heck is a great coach. I A lot of perform, but we're not just talking about any of the line coach. Just tell when i'm telling you um that guys energy, how he gets the most out of his players is relentlessness ness.

To put his players in good positions is relentlessness to coach us. He is so passionate and he gets the best out of everyone. He believes in every player he coaches um we face so many injuries, so much university Jason Peters going down a suitable run. We've had numerous guys going down step and then guys come out of nowhere, neither her big jack or school this past week you know he finds a way to get players to play good football and that's why you know he's I hate the second term goal. But if there is one, it's just Allen.

his legend. Man, his leg. You ve had a few Howard mod.

just two in the f Howard mod, just in legends mod was unbelieved as well. You know, I used after .

coaching you in a caine men .

and a caine had to get around on a golf court.

That's when you .

know you love that man. He was exactly. He was a special man to no longer with us, unfortunately.

R, I, P.

yeah, but really gave me my shot in the nfl with andy read. Howard was an incredible man. Had a way of making complex things appear simple.

I'd go, how? How do I? How do I block a shade? And how do you walk to the door like? You go up to the door and you walked to IT and how you've given me nothing.

Go back to the door, Jason. Meanwhile, three hundred and forty pomes trying to run me over. Pretty sure the door does a move. Howard, anyway, i'm serious. How do, how do you block the end, go out there and shake his.

Make this rocket science latest. And gentleman.

what was Howard give jeff s unbelievable strength was his passion and energy, and unrelentingly amount of coaching and passionate. As for as players, Howards gift was making extremely complex. Things appear simple.

So in the middle of a game when things are going well, you know, it's going on, the back of my head shake is here. You know what to go shake the fuck out of this guys hand and back. Love you, Howard. Pelletan has what you need to keep you on track your goals no matter what season of life you're in.

And as professional athletes, we know how chAllenging IT could be. Adapt your fitness needs to your busy schedule, especially during the nfl season.

Pelletan has been a great tool to help me adept my routine in my busy schedule of traveling for money, night football, podcasting, parenting and everything else. If I go on this year, pelton is great for when you're traveling between games at the gym or when you just need a moment to recover.

Find your push, find your power with pelton at one pala 点 com。

That's right again, that's one pill 点 com。 Hey, i'm rinda. Recently, I asme mobiles legal team. If big wireless companies are allowed to raise Prices due to inflation, they said yes.

And then when I asked if raising Prices technical violates those owners to your contracts, they said, what the are you talking about? You can say hollywood. So to recap, we're cutting the Price of men unlimited from thirty dollars a month to just fifteen dollars a month. Give you to try mt mobile dock flash s five movie going to player .

insight the nfl stories across the league. You know, we touch on everything that is nfl. Stephen a went off on bigger may feel this week men. And I love both of those guys, but how to quote you .

look all of a make you look at for no.

no, i'm saying .

you sorry, I I think I know i'm not of I know i'm not a stylish my heat doesn't work right now, which is why i'm in a four in yeah.

this guy, man.

it's forty eight degrees of you .

forty degrees and fairly right now .

called we get the hurrying e coming up, hurry ane in fucking as all came up here and made of forty eight degrees in the DDL ctos. It's not been fun. Stevenage Baker.

what happens? Stevens Smith went off on Baker mayfield quote code you look awful. You do not look like the starting countdown in the nfl or the national foobar league.

It's a rough it's a rough assessment.

Yeah ah I love bohoo guys and I know Stephen has a job, but man, he he definitely throw a dig at him for sure well.

I mean, that's literally Steven his job. You know you take what you take .

on media criticism and if you you ever I was about to say, do you ever take a personal outside of the mica .

bi I think anytime um you hear criticism your initial response is to be .

fuck that guy yeah that's .

probably the initial response um but man, I really think having been through media criticism before, having been on the other side of comments like this, man, the reality is you write the narrative as the player one .

thousand person the media guy is .

gonna write whatever you go out there and do if you go out there and ball out nobody's writing an article about how you're awful you are and that's just the cold, harder truth of the matter um you know obviously a lot goes into a quarter back plane well and um but man. As a player, I really do believe you go out there and you write the air if you go out there and show who you are every time you step up on that field. And as hard IT is sometimes um all you can do is just keep trying to get Better, keep trying to improve um as as as rough and cold heart as the media can be at times. Man you can you got ta take that and use IT is either fuel .

and take .

or just ignore IT well, whatever works best for you, but you can't let IT compound and make you play worse or make you you um you know, get in your head, make you start believing in that that crap. You've gotta have the self confidence.

You know, I was really fortunate and filled alpha to have a coach that believed to me when I was going through all this stuff, and that that was a comforting feeling, that my coach still have my back and was out and know, and that I used like, you know, all you got to do is this, this in this, when out there did that, that, that, and also side, you start playing Better. Then you start playing Better. They start playing Better.

Not all a sudden, the narrative changes. So, Baker, I hope you start playing Better. I hope you start to bAllen out so that Steven a has to eat those words.

I always root for the player in the long run, although I don't have anything against Steven a either. That's part of this business. You be able to take the criticism and know that you write the nerve going .

to see a Better myself, brother and evil .

offence has explained coming off the box win judo wait in his quote was he's learned more these last few months and kid city than he did in all five years in pitcher. He said, read makes you see the whole field and manages the y picture to understanding how to read differences. Do you think there's a big difference in offences in the nfl? What does IT take to be a part of the eagles chiefs offence?

I think, I think jojo S I was. I think jojo might have been exaggerating a little bit. I do believe that coach read has a huge emphasis on the intentions of the play color.

And I understand that you have to understand what's going on, on the defense aside of the ball. So if other teams aren't doing that, they should probably start doing that because that has a lot to do. What I do has a lot to do on or is predicated on what the defenses doing, if that makes sense.

So I I can definitely see where judges coming from because i've been a part of this offence for ten years now. And my attention is on everything that the defence is doing and the intentions of the play color, why we're calling each and every play on certain situations. But I think that IT takes a little bit, a little bit more or a mental acuity, if that's the right word.

But I think IT takes A A lot more a more broad scheme of things. You know you're not just run a paper routes. You're not just my route on each and every single play has an exact meaning.

It's either to get get open, to get somebody else open, you know to be in the right position at the right time for the counter back there. IT has more it's more in depth than just what's on this play call, you know, I mean, or what's on this play sheet so I can see where he's coming from. And I do think that an offence like this takes IT to chAllenges you mental a little bit more than than others.

Wood, yeah. Yes, I do think first of all, I think that this comment is less about um speaking poorly on pitcher's offence a morga emphasizing how creative a teacher andy read is and how unbelievable he is educating his players to make them Better at their specific positions um but I do think different position, different offences learn themselves to being more suited for either you persever s quarter bags running game often a what are the big differences between different types of offences? You obviously guys run a west coast offence with andy read.

It's like a west coast. What is the spread combination now? IT initially was west coast when I got here under alex ith. And and you more, Charles, single back formations, a lot of two tight and sets zone inside, outside zone power every now and then. But for the most part.

you're ball. You you're in IT out .

yeah we're trying to stress .

the defense. Yeah and I think you know receivers and tight ends need to know a lot more about coverage, potentially need to know a lot more about all of these things. Would you agree or you think that's .

that's not true? I want how to percent agree if you want to be great at IT for sure yeah if you if it's just a part of the office and certain situations like IT is and what what would I be a true posty le offence or what do .

we call him the well one of the three I would say the big three offences in the nfl would be west coast postle and shine hand offence, which is kind of a blind yeah you know it's a one thing in, you know heavy, heavy, dominant outside zone boot a play action, a screen game offence yeah, which I have always been a jealous of the office align in that office that looks like a fun one to run. But we're going, I would just tell in the F.

I do not get excited what's in those games?

You know what I mean? Yes, but I think you know that I think the share hand offence strength is is run and play action one hundred percent.

So you ve got to be a greater run in the ball.

The new wave, this is the new wave of the nf. You know, you're seen these coaches hired everywhere, whether it's obviously calls and a hand, has been in separate school in atlantic of sudden you're seeing uh, all of these guys from washington, atlanta in san fran being hired all over the leave from your shamim vme at the floor. Everybody's after the shy and I often, and I think the big reason for that is the first and second down.

And when you're in, I mean, you've just been productive. I've been productively putting up yards and points, and I can mask a lot of things because of the this direction in A A way that IT attacks a deffenbaugh motions involved in the, the, the screens are running the pet. It's a very, very baLanced offence that can take advantage of a defense and a multiplications mult mlt.

That being said.

that being said though, in areas that y've struggle before is in crucial moments of the game, you have seen shana handstands offence is struggle when they need to throw the ball.

when they need to down to scores. Down to scores. Late two minute drive.

Yeah, chemic. They finally won a super bow this year, this past season. But I took up a while to get there. And I think a large part of that was when they were in tight games in the playoffs, things like that I was. You saw them struggle at times to do drop back protection.

But they still had a guy that had been in a offence that was a huge past, heavy offence. So staff d has been in yeah stafford .

has been .

that dude in the in the like I want to say the era of the yeah IT is one of the best I would do and want to talk when you talk air and out so they had that .

guy and yeah .

they had that guy that's been in that position that's rain. You know mean, a lot of these teams just don't have that counter back that can just sit back there, evaluate the defense and have the big ARM to be able to put IT anywhere on out there on the field and is certain in once you when you're in tight games, tight windows, big time moments, you've tt a be able to be on the money in those kind of situations.

And yeah and that's why you've seen, you know Green bay and the rams obviously jump out, but these are the shining and out style offences that are so good for a second down regular football but then they also have quarterbacks who have dominated drop back past and two matrix and can Operate that offence their whole careers.

The blending of those two of uh realms and offences is LED to um some of the most prolific ones, although the rams are kind of struggle in this year. Didn't do so hot on monday night. Um I got faith that make way in stafford and company will get that thing on.

So that leads to the question, are offences systems built around the Q B or Q B S built around this system only only one answer that should .

be yeah I mean, if you're a coach, you're not building your system .

around your players.

what you got to build the system around what the players do well, what their strength are, where avoid and try and mask what their weaknesses are. Um you know you can try and make them Better and and do things to um make them more well round of players but want you out there on game day. I don't know why anybody would run offence not built around the court. There's one way to have a bad offence. It's to run IT with a cordia g they can't do IT sounds like a great coach.

What did we do in .

red ending that segment? New height stamper, the week who you .

got to? I got my guy hackton taking his game to new heights. Man, a career best eight catches for one seventy nine and two tubs.

Man, he was a close game away from winning IT. And it's shut out to tj men, a guy I got a lot of praise for. I think detroit doesn't do enough with him.

A very versatile guy, both in the run game in in the past. It's called to see him have a career high this week. Who you got?

Yeah I you know, I was a difficult one to choose from this week, uh, but I saw A A little clip online and I knew right away that I had to give this guy some love. My manager, bulls running down, given max effort down to the five yard line, thinks he can jump faster than a man running full speed to catch him, and then mid job just up. Now this is not gonna en in falls.

Do if you have not seen the clip, do yourself a favor. Go to twitter, instagram, whaever take tag. I don't know where you watch these type of clips wherever you choose.

Check out on head gear balls. Just tremendous, just unrealistic effort. He was never .

getting their folks.

I think you thought he was in blitz. Like.

that's a guys played blitz too long, one hundred.

You hit that bee button. IT gets you an extra five yard no. That is a, that is a player who is much flash in. You fall on sprinting.

gravity is working against you player, you leaving your feet is not helping .

you talking with your family already. We did want to touch on something that happened just last night. Um did you catch out the Bobby wagner hit not talking about in the game.

Do somebody is going to catch a case doing this, man, and you get a fan drink, you get a streaker on the field or somebody .

like he was in a streaker this a big actives. I think he, he was an activist. He was trying to save pig lives. I think nobel.

cause I love bacon. So.

yeah, uh, either way, a fair running on the field, it's happened. We've seen many at times. This might be the most vicious hit i've seen on a fan in a while. I mean, bobbi is one of the best tacklers in the nfl. When you run onto a field with a guy who just practice is tackling for a living, you might get .

title that of jack man, where where with who is jet Allen?

Some of these line backers, they just snap in to IT should they have shoot gun don't it's just like a second nature instinct .

yeah instincts .

take over during situations like this. Um I think IT was unbelievable for me. I mean, what's interesting is if IT happened to a receiver, it's not for sure.

fine. I mean, he hit his crown directly into the guys face. That's not even allowed if the games .

being played elected for that one.

I not lie. I enjoyed watching every second of IT. I feel really bad and hope the guy is okay.

though.

Hope is good, hope is OK. Yeah you know but .

you do you take that risk? You take that risk when you decide to be you could run on the field. You take that risk.

You think so one hundred percent like there's did you know those cases of like i'm pretty sure those cases of like burglars suing house owners and they woke about hurt no, where I maybe shooting up, but I know like those cases are guys are broken into a house, broke his leg because there's like loose marbles all over the place. I'm kind of making that what the I hear .

you I hear execute you try to explain and there's no way that's right.

Yes, I think I think you break into my house.

I think it's ridiculous. G doing IT and I know me.

I agree, I think it's ridiculous. And his proposals um so hopefully babies in the clear on this one and hopefully um the activists that in on the field is okay and all the other activists watching are not going to try and stop a foobar game again early when Bobby engineers .

out there right .

now real quick of we know it's your birthday coming up yeah coming up tomorrow in this air yes.

fifth october baby .

well and of your birthday you don't know this. But the new heights team has decided to celebrate .

bring on our first .

test and boy is IT a duced .

is this real?

Is real. It's happening. Our first guest is a blockbuster actor, comedian, and of course, can sa city chief fame.

I present to you our first new heights guests, mr. Paul, right? Really is there .

happy birthday.

That's pretty good guys that thank you guys, right? Paul would go on, baby.

And .

this is, I am so excited to crash your podcast. Wish you a happy vi.

I'll tell you what I did not expect you to show about this Green. Man, I love IT though. Man, I love IT though.

It's electric. Man, saw you, saw you at the first home opener not too long ago. Got to see you at jack. Release the cheese as always. Oh.

so exciting. That was IT was, you know, IT occurred to me and i've been bringing my kid to ahead since he was six years old. That was the first game he's seen. Where are enough where like a winter jacket?

Because we're always there.

Holy, beautiful night. And that was that was a yeah, a great game. And that was great, seeing you IT looks like your health hostage right now.

this like a hostage.

This is my, this is my time .

out corner on this world, my time out corner. Yeah, I just, I choose not to put the strait jacket on look like a complete insane. But yeah, no, I am working on the decor as we speak. Yeah, IT work harder. Yeah, exactly. IT looks .

like you're putting in zero or .

try to feel like you're get rid for Christmas.

That's what i'm going for. I'm like a Christmas year around kind of guy. One day i'll have the White beard. It's coming in quicker, then I wish I would and we're yeah but this is I making .

a three of us in order and IT really is like the beginning of a beard, the travesty in the midst like A A regular beard and and then .

you're main cabin builders .

is the adam over .

here .

on the left? Oh yes.

Do you know he has some carbon to work in him?

The pok can. Thank you enough for joining us. How does this feel to be on the number one sports podcast in the world? And do you feel? What are the world, baby? Do you feel little nervous?

Yes, I do. You feel? Absolutely, absolutely feel.

How did you? How did you two first, me, i've been curious about, just try to told me, you guys, friends, you know, each other. How did this originate organically be?

Well, I mean, I want to say, and I remember when you know, you join the chief S I follow everything and very excited. And I want to I feel like I kind of got to know you really who dust in coquet.

I'd say, my coat baby, his holiday parties, and then we did some, we did some stuff on camera from for a gentleman in the city that I remember, he was going to some stuff. But yes, I think that was that definite. The first time we met IT was actually, I think he was at your .

house yeah we did the in my house a picture of you have a picture of you and my mom and it's so pointing the height disparity between you and my mom. There's a picture where it's like just I think he comes up right here.

belly button, but not very all room no sweet are though absolutely .

sweet or SHE. SHE loves you. SHE loves you, as do I.

My god, this.

Is you know it's it's like you got paid in new line but now this is the one this is the good .

brothers the .

brother do yeah what's .

your favorite memory being a cheese fan or what's at the suber fifty or is IT yeah yeah it's .

IT is without adult. I mean, it's honestly one of the greatest moments i've ever had in my life. It's it's nice when um a moment can happen in your life and you're aware that is one of the greatest moments.

And IT was during the super bowl and I was with my kid and you know, here I were watching IT. And we watch every game. We follow everything in the our season his whole life.

And every year, you know, it's always look, we the teams great. We got a lot to look forward to next year, and we're going to get them. And you have that conversation know so many times, it's heartbreaking.

And then .

we were at that game and damon Williams ran around the side.

David.

and was like, oh my god, there's not enough time we were and and I knew IT and my son turned me and burst into tears and I hug them and I wouldn't and and I wouldn't let go. And I just said, and we just want to super ball. He's trying crying for five minutes, five minutes like a lifetime of just pain.

Enjoy and like coming out. I was so amazing. And then when he pulled back and he had blood all over, so he had blood. SHE says, tears, tears, good.

May I question contain everything .

came back here and his cool and he's bleeding and then I like, try to take self is like .

I just that and .

and IT was was honest.

I was honestly, that moment was one of the greatest moments of my life. The cultivation I saw you right after on the field, and we just member, just .

very, i've got that .

Better way was in IT was in, there is a picture of you're hugging jack and me and there was a picture of in the u. sa. Today I have a framed on my wall because IT also says drivers .

Kelsey hugging .

teammates, they know you are part of baby the whole thing .

that so but you said earlier also .

that you were watching this last game a sunday night. Did you happen to see the titan sneak that the chief rain?

And did you see? Ah, no, great.

But did you see travis play a acting skills on the side? I don't know. If you notice my homes was looking at them. You looking the .

act of us distraction.

yeah. As a professional, how do you grade .

oldest trick in the book? Lot of emotion over here. Sneak in the back door. Been working for years. Been working for years.

Great action. I seen you. I've h bit off more than once. Ah it's also that was great. I was yeah over joy.

You the man 啊, was ninety ninety two percent play right there is a snake udy snake man. Ninety two percent just just did the death before .

this was even set up, which was so funny now that my first tweet was ninety two percent of the time. That works every time, which, of course, is one of the most iconic, says of all time.

Dose not do .

you follow the eagles at OPPO? Yeah.

in my god, see you guys. The number one, the only .

undefeated team. Wait back. Not the number one. Just for now.

The one. No, no, the number one according to the dam hands us power rankings.

But we have, we have a little bit of a batman freking saga going on in fit after here. Right now, everybody is a type of batman daily. Sly, one of the most, one of the most colorful personality, said, no, rob were all bad minds. Does aunt man feel left out that he's not a part? Philadelphy is iconic batman thing going on right now.

You know, here's a thing about hants. We're left out of everything amaze, left out at all of IT. I mean, if you go to a store and you just see like you know marvel super girls across like action figures and even know where to be seen, so i'm used to not being included any kind of voting that man, that man is D. C. I suppose that you know, you could really go specific can go, alright, well, you're in the that's the D C world.

but sep .

but you know it's all, it's all heroic and and you know, I get by, I am not going to be included in batman. So but that's alright, that's alright. How is that filly right now? They just are they just I mean, it's got to be so exciting .

is a good area right now. It's a good time to play for all right now. Everybody's excited is in the air uh for no uh just playing a rain game against suggestion jake wires, which was brutal. Um and yeah it's fun.

It's a lot of funeral the now I think about IT I think IT man might reach I might be screw bad man I mean at man because that recognize I mean filled out by is an underdone k town freaking come in from I don't know where to surprise everybody. How great they are. Yeah, i'm in.

On that first game I ever went to in my life was a filled .

of eagles game, really infilling or .

the new york IT was the giants and eagles. I was about five, and my dad took me. And I mean, this is way back, and I have, I think, back.

I mean, hero car. Michael was playing well, begun. I was playing. I M this.

This is in the seventies, and and two two memories I have from that game. One, my mom packed me a snacks in a lunch box. And two, I I peed in the parking lot when I left.

Big dog, yeah, big dog, and leave your print. yeah.

I marked right, what? My queen? I marked my terrors. That's right. You know what I was because I had to had. My dad was always like, we're going to get out here, be traffic fourth quarter, my god, to go where you've in the .

party first time .

I ever that so exciting.

Yeah you know, a part of football fandom if you have been in the parking lot. That's like a right to passing the movie.

Big daddy made IT OK for all kids to be where with the fuck they want to?

Yeah, IT really .

kind of open the flood gates. So do .

you remember, do you remember .

what mom packed you? No, imagine I wanted die there. There had having some carrots in there. I'm sure there are some carrots. And then which guys growing carrots .

in the backyard?

No SHE SHE, probably. I mean, once I know knowing her SHE put in so much stuff like cookie and potato chips and everything else, but I and then some carrots because you're got to have something healthy in their course. And then I would imagine that my dad, he might throw in a pack of cigarettes for my dad. Assam, which I think back then, you are just smoke in the stadium.

We're going to try to be as healthy as possible, my son, and trying to this old man out as quick as possible with this singer, enjoy the game. Enjoy the game, boys. That's also what china.

what are you doing for your birthday.

man? I'm i'm going to enjoy kanda city. Probably just kill. Grab some, grab some food with friends.

Not too much going on out here on on a wednesday, thursday. So, right? Yeah, don't gonna go on, at least on my birthday over the weekend.

So I do have my walk to walk fashion show for my foundation and eighty seven and running. So i'm going to have some finding on a lot of family friends come in for that one um on saturday, on saturday night. Yep, and allow the proceeds to help the, the, the kids are the underserved kids in the kinds of city and clever and community.

So obviously grown up and clever. So having some fund with that over the weekend, that'll be all the celebrate. I do. Men get ready for this monday university readers where most .

of my focuses yeah yeah I mean, really I guess that's all that all you really can do.

what you get into the week of the sea, the routines of the season and it's it's hard to kind of get out of those routines. But um obviously, times where family and friends come in, you get to relax and those are the time you get to unwind and a hasn't fun. So this weekend will often be fun, but monday makes a huge game for the division. So don't want to .

look at that for sure. Yeah, i'm just gonna great.

sir. Do you what do you get going out there and in new york, brother?

You know .

then uh .

what I have gone not much. I'm really i'm really we moved .

in .

this new house so we're trying to get IT you know kind of to seem to you know hanging up pictures and all that kind of thing. Um my kids are in school. My son is been ready。 Yes, he's he's got college coming up.

He's going into the colors now, god, I remember when he was put on medium jersey's men.

Yeah, yeah. I know if that happens fast. Oh, it's crazy. And yeah, no, I mean, that's IT.

I'm not really i'm not really filming anything right now, which is nice. I had to film a couple days on. We did another anti movie, so that comes out in february.

Wait to see IT can that wait to see? So it's it's big.

It's a it's be, it's going to be bigger than the other ones. It's crazy. cool. So that was cool. But h, so I I had to go to a couple days on that. But other than that, it's been nice to really just sit and watch a bunch of football.

This is the .

best time. I mean, october is really the greatest sports month there is. And they are going to crazy in new york, obviously, as they should everywhere for you. Arn judge and and .

the judge baby has been fun watching him.

And and then this overlap, this overlap of like baseball and football and it's great. Then hints of like .

basketball highlights because they're all starting up by the n hl actually starts up october eleventh is when their season starts. So everything merely yeah .

you know saturdays I can catch some premier league football and college of boat the best and it's not tober .

baby argued the best month of the year.

Arguably the well in my birthdays in exactly a month .

from travis. I'm november python. Travis is october faith. So I feel like I don't look forward to my birthday at all anymore is mainly .

because .

guys like paul don't call in and I know no guys like that like I put .

on my corner. I'm not moving to be right here. Maybe it's a picture, not the only different.

We just celebrate of my daughters third birthday. So where we're pretty far away from college. But man, that feels like even just three years as slow by. So I can't imagine what is going to be like here. But yeah.

that's great. What did you do for her third birthday?

SHE went to an eagles game. Went to the eagles game. We got a huge thing of popcorn from a swoop. The eagles mascot. I got to see her in the tunnel before I went out.

Then afterwards we came back home and the highlight of my day wasn't beaten the jack chapelle jag wires IT was eaten the pink, uh cake with a Green dinosaur that my daughter went over her third IT was incredible. You have been talking about this pink, Green dinosaurs. G for the last two months probably. And when SHE saw IT was incredible.

So much did you try to jacket? I did not.

I have a hanging up. There was still wet. Um, it's now dry. IT is probably my most prize possession at this point, outside of a suitable ring from fifty two, but that I went in to the game. I like men. I don't know if he's going to go for this, because for some reason I don't do a good job and keeping in touch with my former coaches and everything. I really just former teammates.

I'm just bad at that um but right away like seeing him out there the field after the game and I went to him with my jersey that I started the game off without my coach would be hour if I could trade this for your jacket and he looked at me and what he was like, what are you talking about? What you want my jacket on my coach, please. I would be honor to take your jacket and then he got excited about IT and he became a thing. So I was I was really happy how I went little. Unsure how was gonna.

but it's a tough position. Put him in a tough position after a loss to, you know, to get.

I know, but he was, you know, he obviously upset with the loss, but you could tell uh like after me Johnson a lot of the guy I said come up there we had some history together um you know he was happy to see this even though the game in a goes way and um you know I mean is an iconic field of your coach first person ever to bring through both to the city got a standing ovation before the game and to know that I got his rain so sweat soak jacket is pretty awesome yeah.

I was really good and he loves you yeah .

I I mean it's mutual.

And what was IT like? Can I ask you question, what was that parade like when you put on the mm's outfit? I mean that.

看好 what was .

you so um .

first all IT was IT was filled with a lot of alcoholic beverages to loosen me up quite a bit but never .

would I guess .

you but the you know the forget one of the front office people looked at me before the day start is a Jason, have fun as you know what man i'm gona do that?

Don't you worry?

Yeah we all just like immediately once the buses got out and we saw how slow was going, we got off the buses. We are shaking fans, uh, hands with people um that whole super ball run was such a big moment from the city. I mean, you were talking about earlier, paul being a kinds of city fan and like waiting all these years and like you know year after year disappointment, obviously you go fans have been to that for a long time and um to see the overwhelming amount of joy and happiness that that brought people to see how many people had litter brought together all in that moment at the parade.

Um you it's it's it's a different feeling then right after you and right after you win, it's about you and your team and then the moment you're at the praise, you realized, my gosh, this is like so about so many people that have spends all their lives cheering with family members at the games at home, spending their sunday together and the the speech really had culminated. I don't know when I couldn't sleep for days after that game uh and i'm just thinking about, you know my own journey nick forces journey, dog Peterson's journey and IT was easy to see the correlation of like the amount of adversity and longing that this city has been for years and then IT was almost like I had to he said I didn't really need to write anything down um in some ways they just felt natural coming out and you i'm really happy that so many people filled out. You were able um to to share that experience and man, IT was awesome. He really was. He was great.

Yeah yeah. I mean, really is IT is the greatest thing that can happen to a city and especially, you know, for eagles fans and cheese fans. And like you say, people have been waiting a lifetime. I just truly, I mean, decades and the and when you think of, you know, there are so many people and like their relationship with their, they are dad and then somebody passes away and say, that's the first person I think is so enormous this is what this is what sports can be.

It's like the best one .

of the great that's one of the one of the great memories I have from after that cheese run, travis, was when I saw that that footage of of your dad on the sideline, oh, you when .

public .

health.

those those you they don't know, those of you that don't know, my dad finally made his way down to the field after the game as well as my brother did but he jumped right into my arms and obviously you know IT always hasn't been just oh no me a Jason haven't always been that top recruit, that top uh, draft pick um so it's been, I would say up hill battle to prove ourselves.

But it's been a is definitely been a fun journey of us work in our tails off to get to mountain top. And my dad is mentioning how much how much he loved seeing me in that moment, knowing that we had persevere and got through a lot of stuff you know, he was just he was aten. He was awesome to cherish that moment with my dad. No one that he was always on my side through at all and he always believed that I could do IT.

Ah I even seen dad in tears too much. Um you know, remember, i'll never forget the moment he found out his mother died and I don't even remember him crying in that phone call and to see him bowling his eyes out holding his son after you just want to I mean, that was I was cheering up and i'm chewing up right now because he was one of the most of me too like wholesome moments of of my existence .

so yeah I my son was crying and help me and ah yeah fathers and sons and what this what this game can this game can do and my god the the party must feel I mean now like to how the famous here talk .

that all time. Thank you. I'm serious for sure. You couldn't tell him anything once we got draft and you shares.

How can tell him anything now up I can tell you that, but he's very proud. And you know, that makes, that makes me even more honorable. know. And how proud he is. Always know.

absolutely.

That knows the entire town of ildet here, and the kansas city feel the same way. Here is my, this is my, this is my, my prize possession right here. Oh yeah. 六位, 六位。

啊。 Yes, the big eight seven.

there. There is a crispy White baby.

Let me get framed.

Let's go. And I love, I check for my .

son's birthday. And this is going to come out before bird. I going, my kid. Don't tell them.

Tell them a much to show. We are this show.

I know .

you've been extremely generous with your time and I want, I mean, I think this is probably travis new favorite.

but they give these one hundred percent do I didn't see this is the first time i've ever actually been surprised on my birthday so thank you for just absolutely slapped me in the face and and making this awesome and thank you. But I appreciate you.

Well, I am happy that I get to, you know, crash the zoo in which a happy birthday is a thrill for me. You know how crazy I am about you, such a huge fan. You are just, you know, I think, the best of all time and certainly the importance you have. My god, we wouldn't be, we wouldn't be here, but I use so it's been great annoy and i'm happy I get to wish a happy birthday and guess i'll see you guys .

in at least a month when I come back try market day. I appreciate to do. Thank you so much. Just finish our conversation .

pole out is you guys even pull this off? men?

yeah. Shout out to the new heights team. Incredible works set that up.

Um in some ways I feel terrible that paul was my first interview. I made a joke about him. Miners, i've never been nervous. Any questions in my life.

I down earth. He's the best man. He didn't anything I feel .

like I just watched the entire thing, like that was my job I was going to want to knew was .

happening a lot on your shoulder, right?

I was supposed to make sure that happen. flawless. Ly, and I didn't know.

did you did you meet him at any of the because he's at every single ash ship game?

I've seen him multiple times in the stadium with his family and never have sent him to them. Yeah, I mean, that guy is bothered so much. I even all the sixty percent of the time that happens every like how many times as he heard that joke. I mean, I just feel so terrible. I think I made a joke about his mom giving his dad cigarettes.

That's not making the show. There's no way we .

please note, i've never felt more awkward in my life.

De.

here's a good thing. He was such a good sport. No, here's he killed IT paul killed IT thing he knew.

I mean, he's he's A O is he? He done how many interviews in his life? He saved the entire thing.

So thanks. You're coming on the show, paul and being a my first interview, my brothers uh, first interview. Anna, show new heights .

um thank you. And that was yeah i'm still speechless, man. I could barely even talk in the interview because I.

I don't even know what to what to do men? What a guy mean? Yeah I definitely didn't see any that coming and I am not the one for surprises. So thank .

you already. Let's go look at the week five you got radars at the chiefs um yeah, what you guys think? Divisional avery, monday night football.

Get fired up, man. Get fired up, baby. Chief s raters, legendary divisional arrival. I get fired up for every single one of these games. And ever since my Ricky year until now, especially when you get to play on monday night and both teams are great teams, brad's trying to, you know, prove that they are that team, which I think they have all the pieces to be.

One of the best teams in the league know at times have shown that they could be very dominated on both sides of the ball. So it's be it's going to be a fun match up. Um I always toy around with the writers fan base and let her know how how good I i've got the riders of my career. I'm definitely bite my tongue against this defense. I'm not going to say too, too much, but I always, I always have fun with those radars fans, man, there, they're very passionate and they they make, they make IT known whenever I see him that they.

that their later friends, they i've only I played in the old rater stadium back when were the oakwood radars that got the witness first hand the um oh my gosh, the black zone what's called .

the the black hole baby.

the black hole the old country .

you .

want to talk about some good trench talkers that that was a lot of fun.

That's why I ride so much. That's why I have so much fun talking to him playing.

playing last.

still the same fan. Basso, still.

the state is nowhere near the same environment as the oakland. You are playing on a baseball field.

Pic was epic, that baseball .

travesty that they allowed that to happen. Guys have third all of your legs like it's like, yeah.

skin coming in from when I got dragged across the infield in that game.

There's no way that surface was safe.

There's no way. But I was honestly, honestly like when baseball players slide on IT there in the middle of, like almost every other inning, like watering the dirt so that it's not as hard european, like in football vacek little .

out baseball plays. Do you know where the same cleans? And what are we talking about? You pretty crazy.

Well, either way, they don't play on that now, uh, the new stadium is fantastic. Uh, looking forward to to see and what they come with. So my daughter is losing her. Got got her mind.

Eagles at carne's going to the desert.

Yeah, we just played a game in a freezing conditions that was wider than any game I played a long time. And I we're going to go to the desert and play in ninety two degree.

He talk about bring any differences going to.

Yeah, no. So that is a dome, great grass of all of the years on the stadium. I really think they did a great job with their own.

Like cardinals. They've been really good.

They're really good this last week. They've kind of been haunting cold a little bit, but IT seems like they're playing well right now. Get the play against my former body's accounts and see IT will be great to .

see him a great week.

Last week he did is my third. We gonna go play in A A former eagle superb era t mate or coach. Um so yeah, it'll be great to see.

Zc, i'm happy. He he's out. He's doing well out in arizona and hopefully we can get there .

breedin a jersey wap with them. I think it's kind of probably it's going to be a jackets swap. You're got a jacket .

swap with everybody. No, no, no. Jacket swap is only is reserved for really reserved for dog Peters but uh, coaches as well, you know, that's a coaching thing.

You know I think I can't swap. We're gona swap jerseys. I hope if zack, there would be a lot of people asking for that.

So too, I had to fight for curtis will see if I get tax as well. Trap game I don't think it's a trap game. I think the cardinal's are a good team. They are the home team um and we're Better show up.

Yeah they got their fearless leader back in. Jj, what? Um he's always a handful. I think it's been more inside than a dn now.

Have you played against some senses? Has been on lazer? You probably have played a lot in your career because is in the c what?

Yeah, I played him in houston quite a bit more when he played inside. I played in one year when he was an az where he played more of a defense events spot rather than three tech um obviously tremendous player talent skills set um so yeah we got to be geared up. Uh shocker.

Another week and another great difference of line man. And the year is one point off into the line. But you know we got a baby.

Yeah we get some good place. We get some good guys to so um i'm looking forward to IT. Um this is a big one force .
