台北捷運提醒乘客不要邊走邊看手機 Taipei MRT Reminds People To Look Up From Phones
Have you ever heard the word "phubbing"?
It's actually two different words put together!
The "phu-" sound comes from the word "phone", and "-ubbing" comes from "snubbing", which means to ignore someone (忽略，不管).
So, if you are phubbing someone, that means you are looking at your phone, and not listening to them… and that's not very nice!
But this is an even bigger problem when people are phubbing everyone around them, and walking at the same time!
Recently, the Taipei MRT has started to remind people to carefully watch their surroundings while they are walking. 台北捷運最近開始提醒乘客，在走路的時候要好好注意周圍的環境。
MRT workers say at least 73 people have been hurt this year, from falling down in MRT stations while checking their phones. 捷運公司說，今年至少73個人因為邊看手機邊走路撞到別人而受傷。
And, unfortunately (不幸的), some of them have even bumped into other people, too!
The MRT has put up special signs and posters (海報) reminding people not to phub, in stations and on trains.
It may not sound like a very big problem, but it can happen to anyone, if they aren't careful.
You can listen to music or a podcast, but make sure to keep your eyes on the people around you.
Don't be a phubber!
微小藝術品90,000英鎊高價賣出 Micro Art Masterpiece Sells For 90,000 Pounds
One artist in the U.K. is making art in a new way.
He's a painter, but there's something much different about his paintings…
They're so small, they can fit inside the eye of a needle! 他們小到可以穿過針孔！
The man's name is Mr. Lindon, and he's a micro artist.
The paintings he makes are only about half a millimeter wide (半個毫米的寬度).
And to make his works of art, he has to use special tools, including a magnifying lens! 為了劃出這麼小的一幅畫，他需要用專門的工具，包括一個放大鏡！
He says he has to be very careful when he's making them, though.
If there are any sneezes, or coughs, or soft wind, his whole work of art could be blown away (被吹走了).
And if he's not watching closely, the tiny paintings can even be pulled away by static electricity (靜電)!
He says he has lost a painting on the floor before, and had to look for it with a flashlight (手電筒).
So he has to keep his body very still, and concentrate on very small movements (專心做微小的動作).
And each painting can take as long as a month to make!
But it's all worth it (都值得), because he has made enough money to support his tiny art.
His most recent painting sold for around 90,000 pounds, or about 3,460,000 NT. 他最新的一幅畫以九萬英鎊高價賣出，等於是三百四十六萬台幣。
And Mr. Lindon says he was inspired (被啟發) by another micro-artist in the U.K., who has been famous for many years.
That's right, there are more of them!
So if you ever want to buy a tiny piece of art, hopefully you can find one for cheaper than 90,000 pounds.

An actor has received the same military rank as the character he plays.
Daniel Craig plays super-spy James Bond.
Craig has been named an honorary (榮譽) Commander of the British Royal Navy.
That is the same rank (軍階) that Bond holds in the fiction.
007主角丹尼爾·克雷格獲得英國海軍中校榮譽稱號。
Craig says he is truly honored to get the title.
The Royal Navy worked closely (合作) with Craig and the movie crew on his latest James Bond film.
It will be the last time Craig plays 007 on the big screen.
No Time to Die has already started screening, after being delayed by the pandemic.
