他是一位现居纽约绘本作家和插画师、畅销童书作家，代表作有《Hello Hello》,《A Stone Sat Still》和 《They All Saw A Cat》。其中《They All Saw A Cat》是他第一本自写自画的绘本，正式出版前有八家出版社通过拍卖的方式竞相争取出版权，最终由Chronic Books2016年出版，并于2017年获得凯迪克大奖。
除了艺术家的身份，Brendan还是一位激进的动物保护主义者，他真心地热爱动物和自然，并花了很多时间投入到动物和自然保护相关的事业中去。
In this episode, our guest is Brendan Wenzel, a New York Times bestselling author and illustrator. His debut book They All Saw a Cat was the recipient of a Caldecott Honor. Brendan is also a proud collaborator with groups working to protect and conserve wild places and creatures. In this episode, we started our conversation from his picture book They All Saw a Cat, and discussed how perspective shapes what we see and how Brendan becomes who he is today.
