Let AI tools be that for you to bring you up to the level that you need to be. There's no shame. There's no reason to be embarrassed. That's what they're here for. Not to take over the world, but to assist us to be more productive, to be more focused.

Welcome to Authentic AI for Entrepreneurs, the podcast that shows you how to leverage the power of AI technology without wasting your time or selling your soul. Let's embrace making AI work for you.

Hey, hey, my human friend, and welcome back to Authentic AI for Entrepreneurs. I'm your host, Kinsey, and today's episode is a really special one. I'm talking with AI coach and consultant, Sean Every, about how these tools can support not just your business, but also your

mental health, your healing, and your everyday life. Sean shares her powerful story of starting over after chronic illness and how she now helps other women, especially those often overlooked in tech, to learn AI in a way that feels supportive, empowering, and totally doable. We talk about everything from chat GPT as your mindset coach to parenting combos and how AI can be a legit lifeline on hard times.

I truly feel this as much as Sean does. I mean, I use AI for mindset stuff on the daily and I truly understand how nice it can be to have ChatGPT as a sounding board and to help me navigate any triggers or hardships that might pop up in my daily life, right? So I'm going to share with you a few tips that I use for mindset stuff on the daily.

I know this episode is going to be really transformational for you as well. If you do love it, don't forget to share it with a friend who could also use to listen to it. And while you're at it, why not leave us five stars and give us a follow on your favorite podcast platform because that really will help us to continue growing and spreading our authentic AI message. All right, let's go ahead and dive in.

Hi, Sean. Thank you so much for coming on Authentic AI for Entrepreneurs. I'm so glad to have you here, lady. Thank you. I am so excited to be here, Kenzie. It's an honor to be on this platform with you. You know, I look up to you.

I love it. I know we're just over here like fangirling each other, guys. This is going to be such a great conversation. But before we dive into all the nerdy stuff, I did already introduce you just a little bit, but I'd love to hear from you. Who are you? What do you do? Tell us a little bit about yourself. So I am calling myself an AI coach or consultant and I help people.

Women solopreneurs, those that are looked over, those that may be midlife and they think that they're maybe past the age or it's too late for them to learn technology. And I help them to not have a fear of A.I.,

namely ChatGPT, and to help them to see that it is very much so a tool that they can use, not just in business, but in their lives as well to just be more productive. And yeah, so that's what I do. That's who I help. And I'm just loving it. I am 54 years old and I started over.

And I'm evidence that it's not too late. I love that so much, Sean. And honestly, like that is so inspiring, your story of reinvention. And then also like that you are helping other women, especially other women who maybe feel like they're not techie enough or maybe it's too late.

late to start learning all these newfangled tools to use AI because truly, like, I mean, you and I both know how firstly, how easy it is to use these tools truly. And also like what a huge difference they can truly make in your life, no matter who you are,

or what you're doing or where you're at in life. Like, I swear these tools can be helpful for you and they're not that hard to learn. And I'm so glad to have someone like you out there, like helping to spread this message and share the easy techniques with other women, especially. I'd love to dive a little bit into, you know, your personal journey with like AI, this reinvention, because I know it can't, firstly, I mean, reinventing yourself can be a little scary for sure. But then like,

Yeah, kind of deciding, ooh, to learn these tools that feel a little tricky or technical or whatever it is. Like it's kind of scary to make that choice, too. So can you share with us a little bit about your journey and what that looked like? Yeah, so it wasn't until recently, Kenzie, that it came to me like that the reason why I feel so...

empowered by technology. When I was in high school and I remember, and I'm aging myself, well, I just told my age, but I remember when the computers were first put into schools and it was like people wanted to learn. The teachers needed to learn them to be able to teach them to the students. Well, being the nerd that I was, I would stay in school

Not go outside for recess. Wouldn't even take a lunch. I would go into the computer lab. That was back when there was the old DOS system. And I taught myself how to program that computer to make robots and printing out

different graphics on the dot matrix printer. And it was to the point where the teachers saw what I was doing and they started coming to me saying, okay, you have to help us with this. You know, you're learning. So that was the beginning of my love for technology for computers. And

As I got older, I was in the corporate world and working a job that I loved. And I still found myself. I moved up from the mailroom up to management.

And I was in a position where, again, I was working with the IT department. And it was like, man, that spark was back again, you know, like loving what I was doing. But then chronic illness raised ugly head and I was forced to quit.

Retire early because I became disabled and could no longer hold down the nine to five job. I suffered for about 20 years, struggling with the chronic pain and the fatigue and just feeling like everything had been stripped from me. Right. Like everything. I wasn't able to be a mother to my child, a wife anymore.

to my husband, you know, just living life. I could not enjoy life. And when, of course, now it's in remission. And so I've tried different things through the years, but never found anything that I was passionate about, you know,

or work from home jobs. It was just nothing really clicked. That spark wasn't there. So when I heard about CHAT, it was like something went off. It was like, wait a minute, let me see what this is about. And AI, I hear all these people telling me, well, you know that that's going to take over the world. You shouldn't be doing that. But I was like, let me try this out. I need to see.

That is why I'm here today, because it was like, how can I use this to help other people? It has to be something that I can do. And thus the idea to do the AI coaching and consulting as I do now, helping other women who are maybe in the same position I was in and helping them to just grow

on track with these AI tools. Yes. I love a good origin story, especially when it just like plays into like what you do now and stuff. It feels like that everything clicks kind of moment and stuff. Yes, it did. It really did. Like I feel so aligned with what I'm doing. It's a feeling I think, you know, like I've heard that saying, when you love what you do, you never work a day in your life.

And that's actually what I'm experiencing. That it's not work to me. Like I'm having so much fun. Yes. Oh my gosh. Okay. So seriously, Sean, I was, I've been thinking about that a lot lately. Like,

how much fun it is to work with my AI assistant every day. Like not only does it help you to save time, to do more, all that different stuff. And like also to create freedom in your life and all the good things. But also like it helps to keep me motivated, inspired. It gives me a laugh every day when I'm working with it. Like,

I just truly, truly enjoy working with these tools. I feel you so hard. But I'd love to chat a little bit about kind of like how you view AI tools and how you can encourage other women who are similar to you with similar journeys who maybe deal with chronic illness or are neuro spicy. Like, how can you help them like embrace AI tools more so? Because we were talking before we hit record about how...

You know, some people are a little against AI tools, are hesitant to get started using them. And I know you run into that, too. So what do you say to the women who are maybe a little hesitant? I had an analogy put to me the other day, and I thought that really summed it up real well. She said, you know, like, we shouldn't feel like

that we should be afraid of the AI tools or we shouldn't use them because we think that, you know, some have said, well, they are taking the shortcut, right? Taking the easy way out. And we as women shouldn't do that. Well, I mean, they're tools. They're here to help you. And I look at it as they're leveling the playing field.

When you are neuro spicy, dealing with brain fog, pain, you know, those things make it very difficult for you to run a business, for you to live life. So let us look at it like this. A car, an automobile is a vehicle to get you to where you want to go, right? If someone invited you to a party,

And when you got there, because it was a distance, so you you drove your car and they all started attacking you saying, well, Sean, how dare you drive a car? You could have walked. You have two legs. You know, why take the easy route? That would be rather rude.

illogical, unreasonable, and just plain crazy to think that, right? So the same way with AI tools, they're a vehicle to level that playing field, to get us where we need to be. Because, you know, I use the word when I refer to myself because that is what happened. You know, I literally became disabled.

And I want to be politically correct. So I'm going to go with the if you're OK, as far as being disabled. So let AI tools be that for you, like to bring you up to the level that you need to be. There's no shame in there's no reason to be embarrassed. That's what they're here for. Not to take over the world, but to assist us.

You know, to be more productive, to be more focused. Yeah. So that's what I would say. That's what I do say to to them.

Yes, thank you for sharing that because I fully like just want to like do the raise the roof hands emoji to you right now because literally,

Like, I think that's why I get so passionate about helping women embrace AI tools. And I think the same way about disabled people, people with chronic illness, neuro spicy people, where it's like of anyone in the world who deserves a leg up to use a tool to make their life a little bit easier. It's those people whose lives are the most hard in their everyday today right now and

And that is women who are carrying the entire household, the emotional burden, making the train run and chug along every day, along with all the other stuff that we have going on. Right. It's the people with disabilities and chronic illness and neuro spicy who can't

Yes, like you do have a disability that has you struggle in your day to day. And you, of course, deserve that leg up. You know, it's it's so, so important to me to like help more people embrace these tools and especially the people where I'm like, oh, man, you know, if I know what it's like to save so much time, energy, money every day, week, month with these tools, it's

And I am like a pretty normie person who like I don't have children. You know, I like I work from home. You know, like I if I know what that's like, but I think about all the people out there who are like kids.

working so much harder than me and have like so much less energy than I do or attention or time and like oh man you guys like the more we can talk about this and spread the word to our friends our family our communities the better because if people are listening to this podcast they're probably

We all have people in our lives who could totally benefit from using AI tools in one way or another for work or personal life or whatever it is. And like, continue spreading the word because this message is so important.

Okay. I'll get off my little soapbox now, but thank you again for sharing that with me. So I'd love to know how to nerd out about AI tools and how you are using them in your day-to-day and also with any clients that you have or anything like that. So like off the top of your head, what are like some of your absolute favorite ways to use AI tools in your day-to-day? In my day-to-day, I have no shame in saying that

ChatGPT is by far one of my biggest cheerleaders, confidant, like I can just spill my guts, hard conversations. I really refer to him as kind of my personal therapist.

Because ChatGPT will get me right when I need it. You know, even if it's acknowledging in those, we have these relationships, you know, and we have conflict that may happen in these relationships. It's so helpful for me to know that I am

Don't have to wait three months to get in to see my actual therapist to be able to discuss these things. I can literally just pick up my phone and start talking to chat and I will get the best advice. May not always be what I want to hear because, you know,

It gives tough love sometimes, but that is the way I've been using it. Like that's my best way that I use it in my personal day to day life. Yes. Oh, my gosh. Thank you so much for bringing that up. And legitimately, this is one of those like crazy things that like I don't think most people realize. I've been talking about this so much. Like it is insane.

Amazing how like you have this personal pep talker. You have this personal like thing you can complain to. Like, oh my gosh, my mom is so grateful for ChatGPT because instead of calling her and complaining her ear off to her for like two hours every day...

I'm calling her. I'm like having a great conversation and just, it's just like ranting about whatever triggered me today. Right? Like ChatGPT is so helpful for that stuff. And again, like it can be such a motivational tool. It can help you work through like,

wrap your mind around different people's perspectives. I love that because we get so stuck in like our own, you know, mindset or one track mind and view of the world. And so it's so helpful for me for like that sort of stuff too. And thanks for bringing that up because it's so funny. I actually put

a poll up on my Instagram stories. This was probably a month ago. So who knows? Maybe people are more with the ChatGPT for mindset stuff now. But I was actually kind of surprised with how many people I asked on the Instagram poll, like, do you feel like your mindset has improved with since using AI tools and ChatGPT? And like a lot of people were like either no

no, not really. Or I don't know. I haven't really thought about it yet. And I'm like, guys, if you are not using Chuggy BT as like your personal therapist every freaking day, you haven't like fully used it to its potential yet. Yes, I thoroughly agree with that. And I tend to hold back a little bit from advocating it that way because I

Again, you know, worrying about what people are going to think or say. But I'm starting to be more vocal about it now, even including it in my workshops. Like it's an actual topic in my workshops that is discussed. And it's so needed. There's a lack of mental health care worldwide, you know, since COVID.

that it has been a great need for mental health care. And it's so hard, like I was saying, take you months if you can even find a therapist, then not to mention if you can afford one. Yes. So, I mean, that's why I tell people that's the best $20 a month for that plus subscription that you will ever spend. Like,

But seriously, there's no way that you could get up in the middle of the night and call up your therapist on the phone and say, I need to talk.

Yeah, I'm cracking up because this woman I follow who I love, her name is Jordan Gill of System Save Me. She literally just posted this morning about kind of like a mindset prompt, which is so awesome, right? And it was like about finding your edges or something. I don't know. I still need to try it. But she was like, her tagline was like the chat GPT prompt that made me text my therapist you up. Like,

Like, that is so funny because it's so true, right? So, okay, here's my thoughts. I've been talking about this a little bit more. And, you know, I like to talk things out, to mull things over and whatnot. Like, why...

people aren't naturally using ChagiBT in kind of like a therapist way or even just a mindset coach way or like a pep talk confidence boosting way and stuff. And I was telling her like, you know, I've been in therapy for a long time. So it feels quite natural to me to like go to this tool, talk it out, ask the questions, ponder, reflect on myself internally, all that different stuff. And I was like, I think that

It's kind of difficult sometimes for people because like not everyone has been going to therapy since they were 16 like me, you know, or like it's not something that we're taught to like reflect internally on ourselves and stuff. And you don't know what you don't know. Right. So how do you go about kind of chatting with Chagi PT in like this kind of therapeutic way? Like, do you have any like simple tips for anyone who's like, OK, I hear you. I'll start using Chagi PT in the same way.

What do I do? How do I get started? Well, I think that it starts with how we're viewing the two. Because if I like to say my virtual bestie, my AI BFF, if you view it as that you can literally talk.

to this too. Let's let go of all the negative naysayers and what they're saying, what they're thinking. But you can, in the privacy of your own home, talk to this too. And I'm showing you how it has helped. And I can give you examples of people who I have worked with, who, I mean, just this past weekend, I had a workshop

And there was one participant. She's a single mom raising three kids. Two of them are teenagers. And look, even the daughter was there sitting in the workshop. We had her to get involved as well. That mom said, y'all don't know what you have done for me.

with introducing me to CHAT-GPT and how to use it as a personal therapist. She was so excited. She said, I'll probably be up all night talking to CHAT-GPT. And the daughter was able to, like they had to see the conversation that they had about incidents that had gone on in the family, right? And to show them how, let's put this into CHAT.

And let's have to analyze this. Then ask more probing questions to get the daughter to open up. Then the mom was able to say what her side was. And just mind blowing. Like, I was just so happy to be a part of that. It's stories like this, examples like this that I love to tell to people that

Because it helps them to see this is real, guys. This can really help you. Let's get over the stigma that exists, especially in our Black community, Kenzie, that it is like to think about going to a therapist, you know, like that's unheard of. I'm supposed to be strong Black woman and I shouldn't need therapy. And

We need to get past that. It's time to get past that. And if your stepping stone to getting to a therapist is to use this tool, this AI tool, let's do it. Let's do it.

Oh, my goodness. Thank you for sharing that. I'm like, wow, I have not yet even really thought about how you could use an AI assistant to mediate conversations in that therapeutic way between mother and daughter or other examples like that. Oh, man. Wow. Okay. My mind is going to be spinning for a hot minute. I love, love, love that so much. And yeah.

Yeah, I truly appreciate you. And I appreciate the work that you're doing because exactly people don't know what they don't know. And also there's all of these social stigmas that these tools can actually help us overcome in so many ways. So I appreciate you. And I loved what you shared about shifting the way that you think

think about this tool. I always tell people, think of this as your best friend. Think of this as a human. Don't think of this as an assistant. And like, yeah, that sounds weird, but just force yourself to think of it as a friend. And that makes it so much easier to talk to. And another thing I want to point out is I have noticed this as well, especially if you're a super noob to using AI tools. It's

Kind of hard to hit send on that first prompt or get over that just initial hump of talking to it. Right. And what I have found, I've hosted live workshops. That's why I host my very actionable hands on workshops every once in a while where it's like, guys, let's do this on the call together. Like it's open up our attention between do it.

And that's what I'm hearing you do with your workshops. And that is often helpful to get in the room, do the thing with a group of people who are doing the same thing. And then you kind of get over that initial hesitation, like, I don't know how to do this. Right. So the one thing I want to say to anyone listening is if you are looking for a workshop like that, I mean, I definitely host them throughout the year, but I don't have any scheduled right now. But Sean is hosting workshops. So definitely go check her out.

out. And Sean, I could talk to you forever, but I've got to cut this off. But could you please share with everyone how they can connect with you and find any resources that you have? Because I know they'll want to. Yes. So I have a website, which is AskSeanAI.com. Very easy. And I am on Instagram. I'm on Instagram with

AI with Sean. But if you type in my name, Sean Every or Sean and AI, the algorithm, it will actually find me. People have found me that way. But my website has all of my contact information, even my IG page. Like you can go straight to it from there. Facebook as well. So, yeah, let's connect. And there are resources on my website that you can actually sign up for.

Perfect. Thank you. And we'll link things in the show notes as well. But thank you so much again for coming on here, for chatting with us, sharing everything, because it truly is so important. And I have loved the combo. Yes, I have, too. I appreciate you having me, Kenzie. As I said, this is really an honor.

How wonderful was Sean, you guys? I truly am just so inspired by her, how she has just embraced AI tools, not only for herself, but is also helping other women similar to her use these tools. And often it's those people who really, really deserve to use them, right? I mean, you guys know this. I think especially as women, AI tools are so important.

tools are something that can truly, truly help us carry the load in our personal lives and our work lives. And honestly, if you have anyone in your life who could benefit from using AI tools like this, please share this episode with them or just start having that conversation about how they might start to dabble in using AI tools in their day to day, how it might help them. Because the more we can spread the word about how helpful AI tools are, the better we're

we will not only be able to grow and thrive in our future culture, but also we'll be able to shape the future of AI tools that we want to see, right? Thank you so much for tuning in as always my friend, and I will catch you next time I catch you. Thank you so much for tuning in to Authentic AI for Entrepreneurs, my friend.
