It's actually a beautiful play when you really look at things. Imagine a blade of grade being told it's a contraction. "Blade of grass, you are a contraction". Imagine an apple being a contraction, imagine a mountain being a contraction, imagine a star being a contraction because that's what they are. They are a contraction of the expansion coming to a fine point of experiencing What It Is. At first that grass, that apple, that star, that mountain identifies with, its a mountain, it's a star, it's an apple, it's a blade grass on a lawn in a Universe, in a range of mountains.. it separates itself and being a centre.
B: By and by it begins to relate, that the mountain relates that all the meadows and the rivers and everything around it are also one with it. There's no over there and over here. It's all What I Am. The apple begins to relate to the tree, to the dirt, to birds that even eat it, and the apple begins to relate to all that there is. Each contraction leads inevitably to an expansion and every expansion leads to a more wonderful contraction. From finite to infinite, to infinite to finite.. it's a dance of opportunity.
Eventually the ego system drops away and you realise the dance of it all. Contraction, expansion, same thing. Something, nothing, same thing. Over there, over here, same thing. That's what you begin to realise. You absolutely know you've gone mad and everybody thinks you've gone mad and you are wonderfully mad!
