The trust is available to U.S. Institutional clients and seeks to track the performance of bitcoin, less expenses and liabilities of the trust. Important to note is that BlackRock is encouraged that organizations such as RMI and Energy Web are developing programs to bring greater transparency to sustainable energy usage in bitcoin mining, and will follow progress around those initiatives.

✋🏻 Could it be possible that these giants could switch Bitcoin Proof of Work to Proof of mining? Historically, Bitcoin has had an allergic reaction to the council, associations & control points of failures. With giants such as Blackrock entering the Bitcoin space could they impost best practices, and guidelines & changes from POW to POS?
