Keeping a phone in your pocket can heat up the testes, suppressing fertility and testosterone production. Additionally, electromagnetic fields (EMF) from the phone can decrease testosterone levels. To mitigate this, it's recommended to use airplane mode and turn off Bluetooth when the phone is in your pocket.
Sitting with crossed legs can squash the testes together, increasing testicular heat and heat shock stress. This suppresses spermatogenesis and decreases testicular functioning. Men are advised to sit with their legs spread out to keep the testicles cool and minimize overheating.
Icing the balls for about 10 minutes can provide an immediate boost in testosterone levels. It also improves energy levels, fertility, erection quality, and frequency of morning wood. However, it's crucial to avoid applying ice directly to the skin to prevent burns.
Tight underwear decreases circulation to the testes, causing compression, restriction of blood flow, and testicular overheating. It's recommended to wear oversized underwear and avoid polyester, which can also decrease testosterone levels.
Using airplane mode reduces potential harm from radiation, including 5G, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. This is particularly important when the phone is kept in a pocket near the testes, as it helps minimize EMF exposure and its negative effects on testosterone levels.
In this solocast Lucas goes into the various ways you can increase testosterone by either cutting out things you’re commonly doing, or adding in easy hacks.
