The teaser trailer for Happy Gilmore 2 was released on Christmas Day by Netflix, nearly 30 years after the original film’s debut. Adam Sandler reprises his iconic role as Happy Gilmore, and the sequel promises a mix of familiar faces and exciting new additions. NFL star Travis Kelce makes his big-screen debut, delivering the first speaking lines in the trailer. Other newcomers to the franchise include Bad Bunny, Margaret Qualley, Nick Swardson, Scott Mescudi (aka Kid Cudi), and Benny Safdie. Julie Bowen returns as Virginia Venit, and Christopher McDonald is back as the legendary Shooter McGavin. Set to be released in 2025, the sequel is already generating buzz for its blend of nostalgia and fresh talent.
