Human Metapneumovirus (HMPV) is a respiratory virus that typically causes flu-like symptoms, such as cough, fever, nasal congestion, and shortness of breath. Recently, there have been reports of increased cases in China. HMPV is primarily transmitted through respiratory droplets and by touching contaminated surfaces.
