let's get right into the corrections coax residents says i'm broken silicon to ty. You describe the horizon zero on remastered only, having updated graphics and new NPC. The primary difference, though, a lot of people think, is that they originally use generated ahead in the movements during conversations, which often came out incredibly weird.

And the remsen has done over ten hours of motion capture to replace them. Yeah, I so sure it's it's more of a raasay. I mean, I guess look as yeah, I guess there's new NPC update a graphics and they did motion capture. I guess that's enough that it's more than just a slight improvement, I guess.

But I still think the major point that I made holds, which is when people ask, why are they doing remasters and doing these things so quickly? I think this is sony's way of stem Price drops, like trying to get to a morning ten to model where things hold their value over time, which is harder to do with games, with realistic graphics, which most of sonic games are because I you can look IT up. There's P, S.

one. There's articles of the PS one graduates. And on the magazine cover, IT says almost photo and IT does look very good for A P, S, one game, kind of looks like P.

S. two. And or even Better in some ways, IT certainly did not look photo realistic to me, that on that picture there just blown away. A car really look like a car and not like a cardboard box. For cardboard boxes is stack together and .

you feel like racing games that tend to be like a gena head of every other game when IT comes to graph ics though. So that makes sense, but I guess that's a good point. I may idea. Remember with horizon zero down, when I initially came out, that was one of the things people talked about all the time .

I remember being a big thing and reviews is talking about at that. Like when you're talking to n pcs, some of their movements look really weird and robotic. So I guess they are getting rid of that criticism like what they had in the game.

Yeah, I don't know. I imagine for its time, IT was fine. I just hasn't aged like the last of us. Graphics are something right and that's this is for but and I can just finished with my point, like the intendo model, if we don't want a low Prices, so any will they're not insane.

But I think what they want is the game comes out for seventy next time, maybe eighty, who knows? And then over time will become sixteen and twenty and twenty. And then eventually it's like they want, look, the game to six years old that you want to for ten box and they go.

Now we're going to keep remastering the last of us one so that we can sell up for thirty like it's gna cost us the forth of the cost of the development of a game. But now we can keep selling IT forever at three times surprise. So I think that's the model and that would explain why they would put that effort in so soon because they wanted to age well now. And I don't think we should be surprised if there's like some little update.

They do and they delete the old version and they're like, right, still thirty dollars or a few of the original is still just tend dollars to get whatever P S five P S six update theyve recently done um although no in SONY, what do you think dam do you think there's a chance? I just realizing this like A P S five game, what will be a good example? Let's say demon souls comes to p six and they just do a remastered of IT ten dollars.

Do you think they might like go, okay. But if you have horizon zero done from P S four, it's ten dollars or it's ten dollars we have from P S five updated to P S six. But if it's some P S worth twenty and just every job they add ten box to IT because now that I say that at last say that .

when surprised me though now I guess I wouldn't for me either there like SONY seems to be into that right now. I kind of hope they stop being into IT, but that's just what they're up to. And I don't think they have all that much competition to make them worried about IT like that. I mean, I don't know that they all seem to be these platforms didn't to be less and less directly competing with each .

But you know then on the other thing, you go, yeah but from a business perspective, like why but even for your car company, when you want to focus this segment of cars the most, you're not always directly trying to compete with. You can kind of see a lot of companies kind of going into their own directions a little bit because and honestly, just make sense yeah um alright, let us move on to something that does not make sense with story number one area releases to horrific reviews, right? So there we have IT. This review has had a chaotic mix of results that often don't seem to have make much sense clearly until has a significant number of issues to resolve with air lake. And we didn't expect them to floor sly, execute on a new platform and CPU architectural release.

We had hope for a much more police project product than this. As IT stands, gaming performance is inconsistent, to say the least. Overall, this is very disappointing for the next generation flex tua product.

If l can't make significant improvements, erik could end up being a poor choice for gaming. And indeed, the results are him, and they are not looking good for intel. Intel R X C P S bion large, losing gamme to rise in seven thousand and nine thousand, and even to thirteen th.

Gene rater lake, at best we see parity with the usual gaming CPU though the I five, for example, or sorry, alter five being especially bad IT even lose to then three and gaming. And occasionally I game with three member. It's got lowered than the old gene.

They if they make a good product that launches and that actually does what they say, it's going to do great. Maybe in two or three generations though, have enough goodwill for me to like even have any assume anything they say is credible. But at this point, intel is just a nothing company like they they can't execute on anything.

Yeah I mean, if anyone's wondering, I believe what was that? Was that on the dash? Maybe I don't remember if I was me talking to you or if I set IT on a podcast, but the day area late came out um I was told by one of my retail sources that like by the waste, the volume isn't there and no one's gonna a notice because no one wants to buy IT.

Like they said, there are some locations at this major retail. They didn't get anything but like two ultra five or an ultra seven, some locations at one or to nine and they said then they new that they knew some people old locations because know this person talks around the people across locations to the country and said that like no one knew anyone. I mean, you know obviously this didn't quite make IT into the cycle, the new cycle that mean you were talking on before and I talked about the initial reviews a lot with teck city and the and after that, I guess the only thing to add is more data has come in. IT really doesn't seem to be selling absolutely well at all intel's reported earnings.

They were disastrous. It's and at something I I posit that like I think as we're thinking about is I mean is is this going to is into going to be able to beat rapture late performance until twenty twenty six? IT really feel s like a botox or the driver piled driver situation to me.

I I mean, yeah, I have no expectation that they're gonna like seriously beat rapper like any time soon or I mean who knows maybe they could with a panther lake, although I don't remember what that is shaping up.

Yeah, I leaked that at least what i'm recently hearing is single digit ipc increases. I don't know about the clock beds yet and then Better efficiency but you know that might be OK on laptop but on desktop there as of now, i'm told still using the same media lake s IO tile well just platform multiple tiles um and that means that all of the inherent lencs issues with airline will still be there.

A panther like that's like when i'm told panther lake is you know ten percent Better, twenty percent less power is is going to be five percent Better, ten percent less power on the test set version. I think I guess maybe at that point, it's still probably lose this. And five now retired five, which would have been out forever on a cheaper node with a cheaper layout. I already saw the ninety nine hundred x going for like three sixty on like. So amy is making up for their ridiculously blunder ing launch by just yeah that that looks and five almost already as cheap as what then four was a few months ago I mean so I don't know how they compete with that.

So that's funny. That's something brian brought up on the last episode. He goes, you know, they claim they have Better efficiency, but from what I can tell, their architecture just didn't clock as fast as they wanted to do. And they were like, oh, okay, so we're going to say that is Better efficiency.

Which makes me wonder, like.

did they actually, were they forced to do IT? Yeah.

I think we would. You know, I think we would. And even then IT, I don't know if I would have across the world being reality. Like, I think, I mean, if I was clock ten per and faster IT probably would have been like I hair Better and still, wouldn't I know that really be a Better situation if I would be still using four hundred watts to do so? It'll be a bigger deal to for a laptop. I mean, its integrated graphics are like double as good, you know compared to what wrap they had, which means you know maybe slightly Better than media lake, but I think probably slightly Better than media. I forgot IT was I think was a slight tick on the alchemist, plus architecture, media licks.

What I told us in IT saw battle makes like luder lic as and IT is a lot more efficient, I think at the power bans is out, you know, for the most part. So IT, it'll probably they'll probably be Better in laptop s than on test stop. But I don't it's still also very expensive. I don't know. Its competitions never been harsher with call com in the race now and strict just walk away with IT.

Yeah, I know. I mean, I think the story is usually a little bit Better looking in laptop like when it's so truly disastrous launch than this top. So yeah, I mean, I bet you'll find some of IT, but I don't know why you would want to get this server zone product.

My suspicion is that OEM just have all of this still audit lake, raft lake, which they rebrand order lake is fourteen f ten, all the times still like oversupply and it's ready it's here, it's it's ready to go and that they're going to launch first black laptops, probably a lot of them with that. But then that's because they're waiting to a quarter to refresher something with fire age.

Like if you're doing a high end gaming laptop, you want fire range that the ten, five basically dust up in the laptop. People, you know you have one of those in a mother point actually where you are right now, if all those many forms boards. You're going to be much more much you a much Better laptop.

If you use that, then you use arrow like ice is yeah and it's probably to be a lot cheaper too. So I would suggest that maybe this rumor was seen to of like black, I will be paired with rapture. Like is, yeah, well, rapture likes literally in a warehouse now the way to get rid of IT.

And then once they do that, that's when they shift is. And five, that be my guess. I don't know.

I I think they did. They thought this was going to be Better. Like what was that like three years ago these reports came out. All right, well, let us move on to a launch that is less problem tic with story number two, aee launches the rise in seven ninety eight hundred x 3d last week aimed revealed the long anticipated redeemer of ten five percent， the rise in seven ninety eight hundred extra day. And all honesty, not that much was surprising about the reveal as we knew the extra I was coming for weeks now to delete out of the channel and elsewhere. But these aspects have now has been confirmed.

We cannot officially one hundred percent say the one hundred extra of eight course, sixteen threads, five point two giga hers boost clocks, four point seven gager hoods, base clock, one hundred and four big bites of cash, one twenty tdp, and well, apparently of four hundred seventy nine dollar emr p and the only surprises are that amy believes they can defect. Or ninety nine hundred X O D were substantially more than the twelve core ninety nine hundred x which again, and micros chicken for recording is currently three hundred and sixty dollars. So there I know the m srp hasn't changed.

AMD pretends they never changed, but you got to know, I can think that was like three hundred eighty two dollars or something. AMD is just openly saying we're going to charge more for an eight core with v cash than we do for a twelve core. Although and I want to be so sure this won't work out though because I think this is going to be the premium gaming ship everyone wants to buy.

Oh, and the other surprises that v cash is now on the bottom, which apparently in interviews aimed confirmed they wanted to put the v cash on the bottom since then three, but they didn't really feel they have the money to put in the work to move things around and flip over the design. But that is one of the reasons they can clock IT so high now is because those actually is an insulator over the time of the die, is IT interfaced with the heat sinks. So yeah, that they've been going to do IT for wow.

Now they can do IT the money to do IT in at work. IT seems to yield much higher performance. But anyways, what how much I performance well, amy claims at eight percent improvement over the seventy thousand, one hundred and thirty or twenty percent over the ultra and two eighty five k but additionally, again, this has been recorded before official reviews.

I live, but I ever do review your data from a few friends of the channel. So I just want to tell you what i've already and what is. Drop this a little early before the reviews come out so we can be part of the discussion.

In ten A D, P, the ninety eight hundred extra is five to ten percent faster than the seventy eight hundred three day, and twelve, eighteen percent faster in the alter, nine to eighty five k. Now remember what? I have access to a couple reviews here, not all of them.

So I can't tell you what overall conclusions will be. Are to guess, most reviews are going to say it's the best. It's a little more expensive, but IT delivers not quite as much as we were maybe hoping. But but in other games, it's crazy faster.

Like I think I saw up just the same ones like our ams, at least time mean some insane was a cyber on to my for how I was like I think like fifty percent ter in some parts the again the the twenty five day or something so yeah, I mean, look, amy claimed eight percent and twenty percent. I'm seeing like five fish to ten percent and twelve eighteen percent, but that's just the reviews i've seen when surprising if one review founded a blood amb these numbers. Also, i've noted that if you really turn down, settle or resolutions, again, this is what matters.

I did. You Better work ten to p ultra. Medium or high the lead goes higher than what i'm telling you i've saying uh and in four there is a big difference um in multiple reviews I saw but I will say this I think that's just as letting um because the arch forty nine years clearly bottle necking this CPU in even ten A D P to an extent or to more of a bottle back in a lot of games.

And and there are some games that where you actually need the extra performance, where IT way over performs, that's the games you wanted to buy IT for in fact, even noted. Open these up here. I have dare with them on screen.

As example, i've been said, I going to share who's talk to me. But what I can do is show you an example of what I mean from at seventy eight hundred extra review. If you looked at seventy eight hundred extra review.

So this part here is from tech power up. I believe I noted here that this thing is like almost double the performance of the fifty nine hundred x think this seems like sixty seventy percent faster. The go to the average for the review IT was like forty percent faster.

That's because there's a lot of games. We're just every CPU is getting two hundred frames per second and and everyone hear from was I said, of course competition oni promise that they're wrong. Uh where the seventy hundred x three day is what is is fifty percent faster than the seventy six hundred x then three even on the chart, it's probably half the framework.

So I think when the fifty ninety comes out, we're going to find this is. Closer Better than ams numbers. I think it's were three membership that the seventy one hundred x thirty amb said at twenty thirty percent faster.

Initial reviewers like ten fifteen percent. But over time, as games got harder to run, IT did age thirty percent faster. And so I think that's going to happen again.

And roundin at all up three o and is launcher ship that is not a budget king by any means, compared to the two hundred dollars, seven hundred and thirty or one hundred dollar older like I five, which I think is probably the best budget trip right now, or even are uv eight ninety seven hundred x that costs two hundred dollars less incomes with thirty two gig bys. And my critter, so you are not getting like you're not getting this to be a budget hero, but IT is the gaming performance king. IT is the most efficient CPU on the market and it's probably going to be the best gaming cp you can buy until way sex.

I mean, I think the four hundred eighty dollar Price point is so four hundred seventy nine dollar Price point is just then setting the Price of what the seventy eight hundred x three day is selling for right now.

Add a little bit of our ipc and you can see why this would a higher core boost in the ninety nine hundred x. You can see why a lot of people might religious this one because now IT doesn't have any weaknesses on like last time yeah I mean.
