That's great. Yeah, a little tired but you know, it happens. It's Monday. It's a classic. I stayed up too late.

Shit, doing what? White Lotus? Yeah. And we were out watching the Michigan State game. They lost. But then we went home. We watched White Lotus. You know, opened a bottle of wine. Then the other woman was on TV. Oh, that's such a classic. You got to stay up for that. And we ended up staying up watching the whole movie on cable. Oh, my God. So commercials and all. Yeah, commercials and everything. Stay up for the whole thing. Low-key.

But that's going to be really fun. And then we're going to see our parents. Yes.

I haven't seen my parents in a while, so I'm excited to see them too. Yep. Yeah. It's going to be a good weekend. It's going to be a good week. Yeah, we got a good week coming up. I definitely was like a little sick towards the end of the week. Friday, I was struggling big time. But woke up feeling better on Saturday. Went to the Yankees game. A historic game. Those damn torpedo bats. I was there to witness controversy and history. Those damn bats, huh? Yeah, I guess they're juice of the bat. Legal. Apparently it's legal. All legal. They've changed the shape. That shit's going to be banned soon. Of the bats. Either ever.

Either every team's gonna have it or it's gonna be banned. - And what's crazy is we were a little late to the game. I was with a big group of people. We got into the elevator and one of the kids was like, on his phone, he goes, "Oh my God, the first three guys homered right away." And we were all like, "What?" Everyone in the elevator was freaking out. Then there was a second of silence and we could hear the announcer on the speaker 'cause they had the sound going in the elevator.

And they were like, that goes to show you folks, even the early games, you got to make sure you're here on time. And everyone was like, ah, shit. But we did make it to see the fourth home run of the first inning. And then all the rest of them, obviously. But yeah, if you missed that, I guess some of the Yankees players changed the shape of their bats a little bit. Yeah, so they hired someone to make these bats that are legal. Yeah. They fit into

the parameters of what the bat needs to be. The way that people are talking about it is like they hired like Albert Einstein. No, it's hilarious. They did. It's so funny. The bat guy. Yeah. I mean, which by the way, Aaron Judge, all these home runs couldn't do it in the postseason, but I'm not here. I'm not here to give my, you know, my thoughts on that. But,

Had a lovely date night. We went to this restaurant in Jersey. It has really good steak and sushi. It's blue on the Hudson. And really good drinks. So that was a fantastic dinner. I had a dirty martini that blew my socks off. I'm not going to lie. It was one of the best I've ever had. I was blue cheese olives the whole thing. And Noah, get this.

I'm becoming a fan of old fashions. Wow. What would happen? Just the last couple, because Matt's go-to is an old fashion, I've taken a liking to.

Good spirits at the game. Ken Jeong was there. OK. And he was in the same section.

and the entire man won't miss a big duke game he won't and let me tell you the entire yeah the entire game i was like should i go say something to him do i not say something like do i get a selfie and there were so many people that were going up to him and he was so nice about it yeah it's also such a big game that i was feeling conflicted yeah i was like do i bother him do i not he seems so nice he's taking a picture with everybody and i chickened out in the last second i was so disappointed in myself i'm like oh we could have got a great picture with

people were like lining up and then there were like times where nobody was around and I was like oh should I go should I not go and I got all nervous so I didn't do it so that one I'm kicking myself a little bit about that I'm like oh come on why'd you chicken out but it was a fantastic night I mean Duke won so Matt was very very happy they won by 20 so that was a lot of fun yeah they crushed on on uh Saturday yeah they yeah they did so that was a blast and then

Sunday, another good rest day. Got some good rest, some good fun this weekend. And I'm feeling ready to go for the week, ready to go for Florida. Love it. Yeah. Oh, I wanted to mention, I actually wrote this down in my notes Saturday night.

I can't stop describing things using the word epic. And for the first 26 years of my life, I never used the word epic. I never described anything as epic. Now in my 27th year, it seems as though I describe everything as epic. I don't know. It's like all of a sudden you hit your late 20s and you start describing things as epic. Yeah, interesting. I don't think I've used epic since college. I've never used epic. Ever. Until this year.

Because I was at the restaurant. I wrote this down while I was in the bathroom at the restaurant because I was walking to the bathroom and in my head I thought, this place is epic. And I thought, what? No, exactly. I was like, huh? Why would you just describe this place as epic? That's not a word to describe it. You could say beautiful, delicious. There's so many other adjectives you can use besides epic. And I had to write it down in my notes that in my 27th year,

Matt surprised me with a Kindle this weekend. He must be hearing some things from the best show on earth from when we talked about it. But I need some recs. I need some book recommendations. Love. I got to start downloading. I started watching Daisy Jones and the Six. I thought it was going to be like a honeymoon gift.

He gave it to me early. You two are so ridiculous. I knew it. When you were like, I was like, it's just insane. I know exactly how this went down. The package arrived. He opened it. He was like, oh, the Kindle's here now. Do I just give it to her now? She's going to be so excited. I'll just give it to her now. And then he probably came in. He's like, I got something for you. That's exactly what happened. And you were probably like, oh, did you get me? What'd you get?

It's part of me like, hey, maybe Sydney just became really close with Glenn's sister while they were filming Anyone But You. And so she was invited. That's what Tim Z said. You know, it's...

But like not everybody gets invited to the rehearsal dinner. You know what I mean? Like how close, how close did they get that she was at the rehearsal dinner and not just the wedding? We're all one big happy family. You'll have so much fun at the wedding. That's literally where my mind went. Now granted, TMZ said she's been invited to the wedding for months. Sydney's been invited. Which also, honestly, it does make sense. I feel like she would be invited after the journey that they went on.

But TMZ did say that Sidney and Glenn did not attend his sister's wedding rehearsal dinner as a couple. We're told that Sidney is attending the wedding with her best friend in RSVP months ago, way before she and her fiance had postponed their nuptials. The source says Sidney is very good friends with the Powell family and has been very close with Glenn's sister Leslie for a long time. Yeah, I want to see something inappropriate and pervy. Yeah. They should do it. They should just do it. They should just do it. Yeah.

Who knows? They should do it. I mean, who knows if they have it. I don't know. These two, they should just get it over with. They probably have. Or maybe they have. Yeah. I don't know. You know, I like the way your head's at because I'm like,

It is quite possible that they really just have built a great friendship. Yeah, it is. Filming anyone but you. But now that she's single. Glenn's that kind of guy. You're going to tell me Glenn's not interested, though, in a single Sydney Sweeney? Now let me tell you, quite possibly, if you're them and nothing's going on, the worst picture is to come out this weekend. Like after her relationship gets called off. The timing is just crazy. It just fed everyone's delusion of these two being like, we were right. I know. They want to be together. They want to be together.

Meanwhile, they're probably not together. Right. And like she was just going to his sister's wedding. Separately from Glenn Powell. It's funny also just to think that like with all the news coming out last week that she was maybe texting them like,

Incredible timing for this wedding to be happening. You know, it's kind of like the movie. Wasn't there a wedding involved in the movie and the whole thing? Maybe she was always invited. A called off engagement. Yeah. And they called off their wedding now just so she could go by herself. Yeah.

Well, TMZ said she went with her friend. Well, maybe she knew. So that's what I'm saying. So she replaced him so that she could be single with Glenn. No, you're on to something. She knew the wedding was coming up. She knew she was going to see Glenn and thought, well, I better call this off before I go see Glenn again. Yeah. That's also very true. Yeah. I mean, we're feeding all the delusions right now, but so many possibilities here.

I don't think these two are going to jump into a relationship, though. Like, I don't see Glenn and Sidney Sweeney jumping into a relationship. No, I don't either. I'm under the impression, like, the Powell family, like, if you're in the circle, like, you're in, you know? Like, it's like they made this movie together. Glenn's parents are always around on set. We know that. Like, the whole thing, the family's around. And they're like, oh, no.

Come on, Cindy. Make sure Cindy's coming to the wedding. You know, she's a little pick-me-up. Yeah, she's going to do a hard time. A little Powell family event. Yeah. We're going to show her a great weekend and she fits in seamlessly and then Glenn and her run off together. Exactly. Exactly. Who knows? But I don't think this is anything serious right now. I don't think they're running off and having a relationship together. No.

I really do think that she was just at the wedding and it was just really crazy timing. I agree. And it did, seeing the photo this weekend, I was a little hoo-hoo. Yeah. Oh. I know. But I do like Noah's theory that she called off her relationship before she saw Glenn again at the wedding. Yeah, yeah, yeah. She's like, oh, well, I better free up before I get there. And the ending credits rolled around and he just walked off the stage. And usually, you know, the host and the musician of the evening, they stick around for the whole credits. They hug everybody. They dance on stage. I've never seen anybody walk off like this. But am I shocked that Morgan Wallen did it? No. Nope. Like, I don't know why people continue to have like faith in Morgan Wallen when time and time again, he shows everybody who he is. Yeah.

And he just walks off the stage. It's like, everyone was like talking about this so much. And I'm like, why are we surprised? Why are we surprised? I don't know why we're surprised either. Like this is the most Morgan Wallen move ever. Yeah. Um,

To be honest, I don't even really know why he's doing SNL or why SNL wants to have him on. I don't get it. By him being on SNL in the first place? I really don't get it. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Is he promoting new music? Yeah, I think he's got a new album. He's always got something coming out, I feel like. I feel like he teased that he's got a new... Oh no, maybe that was Luke Combs.

The acting is superb. Yep. I think the acting is phenomenal. I think the writing is phenomenal. I really love the dialogue. I mean, Parker Posey is hilarious. So good. Like, she is hysterical in this show. And I do feel an attachment to the characters.

I just don't care about some of the storylines. And I feel that way about Gary. I wish they never brought... Really? Yeah, I wish they never brought Gary into this. Because I am so focused on the new characters. And I wanted to really get to know them. That now I want to know what happens. It's not that I don't care. Because now I do care. And I want to know what happens with Gary. I just feel like...

I want to know more about the newer characters. And I feel like there's a lot of focus. And I love Belinda's character in the last seasons. And I think she's clearly going to have a crucial role in this season. I just feel like we're missing some details about the other characters now because we're now focused on this plot that carried over from the other seasons and

So I'm feeling a little confused about that. Yeah, that's fair. And I think maybe it's just me wanting to know more about the newer characters. But I feel like once again, there's a lot of loose ends and there's only one episode left. And I'm like, how much action are we going to pack into the last episode? Because there wasn't a lot of action in this episode.

Was it interesting? Yes. But nothing shocking happened. You know, like I wasn't like, oh, my God, I can't believe that happened. Nothing shocking happened in this episode. So, you know, I'm I'm left feeling wanting more. Yeah. You know, yearning for more. And there's only one episode left. So I don't know how much we're going to get in that. There's a lot of a lot of things that need to be tied up. So, yeah, I didn't not like it, but I wasn't obsessed. That's how I feel. Yeah. You know.

I have so many thoughts about it, but you know, it's where to go. I do agree with you. I think that there is, there's so much, somehow there is so much going on and nothing going on at the same time. Like, because there are so many characters and there are so many, you know, character development plot lines to follow that things are happening, but it still doesn't really feel like things are happening. I don't know if it's just also that I'm very disappointed in the way that the Rick storyline is all coming. Like for me, give me more Belinda, Greg, Gary and what's going on there. Like that was more intriguing to me. That part of the episode of like him offering her money, like what's going on there, like

How Kate knew Parker Posey, but we've never come back to that. Yeah. That was just a random thing. And... Yeah, I mean, I think it was... One big point was, like, they did confirm that it was...

his, Valentin's friends that robbed the hotel. Yeah. Which I think everybody kind of knew. Right, like I wasn't like, oh my God, I can't believe it. Yeah, I don't think that was like a big shock moment when you saw the, it's a shock moment for them. They didn't know. It's just seeing the jewels and whatnot that were on the dresser that were stolen. But yeah, it does feel like so much has to happen

In the final episode. And I'm sure it will. I'm sure it will. Like I'm sure. That. It will all. Come together. Um. I think like. I don't. I don't know. I have so many different thoughts. So I'm like. I don't know if. If. Just all hell breaks loose. And then. Uh.

Guy talk like tries to be Mr. Tough guy and just starts shooting everyone like I don't know what that was because nobody wants him to like kill somebody more than Mook. She's like no you like toughen up. Don't you don't you think you should be like fight people. Yeah. I don't know. Do you think do you think she's like a bad guy. I don't know. I don't think so.

Yeah, I don't know. There's so many loose ends. So I'm going to give this episode a B. Because while I did enjoy my time because I now feel invested in the characters, I still was left feeling like a little bit bored and kind of like, all right, can something crazy happen? Because I don't feel like now with all the sexual things that are happening, I'm not shocked by any of it because we saw two brothers hook up. So now with hearing Gary's story,

you know, weird desire to, you know, watch Chloe have sex with somebody.

Am I like, oh my God? No, because we saw something crazy already. So I'm not left like, wow. Do I think that maybe Gary has blackmail on Saxon? He was filming the boat or something. I don't know. Maybe there's something there. Yeah, I don't know. I think the fruit is obviously going to have something in play, but I also think it's too obvious. I think if anything, it'll be an accident with the fruit. I don't think Jason Isaacs is going to actually eat the fruit and die and die.

Yeah, I feel like maybe they put it in a shake or something. A lot of focus on that blender. Yeah, like maybe Saxon accidentally... A lot of close-up shots of that blender. I actually didn't realize that they come out at 9 o'clock on Thursday. I'm ready at 9. I know. I was so mad, though, because I came home from work and I thought it was just on on Thursdays. Oh, I'll give this. I didn't get to grade the Severance finale because I didn't watch it in time last week to grade it. I mean, A plus. Yeah. I, yeah, loved it. And I watched all of the last season of Sweet Magnolias, which. Rewatch or you just watched it for the first time? It was new. Oh. The last season. Shit. Season four. It like came out last month. And it's the last season. You know, I sort of miss that era of TV show. Yeah. You know, in COVID when like all those TV shows came out. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Gather Bangs and Steve Magnolias came around the same time. Ginny and Georgia. Ginny and Georgia. Ginny and Georgia. I couldn't get past them. And the show with Katherine Heigl. Ugh. Firefly Lane. Yeah. That all like, I miss that era. Like, you know, like where are their shows? Yeah.

Firefly Lane was so good. That was really good. So good. Sweet Magnolias is cute. I mean, it is what it is. The first season, I thought, was really good. I knew that this was going to be the last one. I was fine with how it ended. I didn't love how it ended.

Like, some storylines, I was like, oh, that was, like, cute. I'm glad that happened for certain characters. And then some were a little more open-ended. Like, of course, you know me. I found myself, like, more invested in the younger kids' stories. Like, the ones that are, like, in high school instead of the adults. But certain characters, I, like, wanted to... Like, there were certain people I was really rooting for. And it was satisfying in that way. It was a C+. Like, you know, it was...

There's some terrible acting. There's some, you know, decent acting. But it's cute. It's really, it's just a heartwarming show about a little town called Serenity. You know, so it's cute. And then I watched like the last four episodes of Grey's Anatomy. I'll give that a C. It's like, you know, it's, I'm still watching.

What will they have to do for you to not watch? Like how bad? No, it has to end. Like I'll watch it until. You're going to watch it just forever. I will watch it until it is canceled. That's, yeah.
