And we ran together for 12 years.

Wow. We pretty much were never apart. Yeah. Yeah. The only time we were apart is if I dropped him at the vet. And I mean, we were we were tight. I knew what he was thinking. He I know he knew what you were thinking. Yep. Yeah. We could we could look at we could read each other. He he he had a rough, rough last day.

I started out at the vet and for just routine training.

you know, routine visit. And, uh, he, he was my goodness. I think Buddy was almost 20 years old. Uh, he's a pug Corgi and, uh, yeah, he lived a long time. That dude. I, um, uh, yeah, I noticed that the last couple of weeks he was trying to tell me that, uh, you know, dogs, they know what's going on and he was trying to let me know, uh,

and I just uh ignored it so he's gone I'm in the truck by myself and I guess my biggest problem is is I just regret that I didn't slow down and just spend more time with him that last couple of days I feel really bad about that last day because uh going to the doc the vet stressed him anyway and uh

he went to the vet and she was like, uh, uh, things are not going well. And, uh, he started, uh, having, uh, uh, convulsions, seizures, and, uh, oh man, it's, uh, it just tear your heart out. So she started, uh, giving him shots to chill him out. And, uh, so he, uh, I got him back home and, uh,

He had one last little seizure and that was it. And so I had him all cremated, you know, and anyway, I guess I'm calling because I'm having a hard time dealing with not having my dog anymore because we were, you know, we were like. What do you think is the solution to that?

Oh, please. The dog loved you so much that the dog wants you to suffer and not join in another relationship with another animal? That's what you think your dog would consider respect? Do it by the end of the weekend. One thing a vet told me one time, and I'd like to share it with you. She said, don't get the exact same type of dog. Because what happens psychologically is that you have the expectation that it's almost cloned. And it's going to be the same dog. And you're less likely to be fair with the new dog. Because it'll always let you down because it's not going to be buddy.

So her recommendation was get a different kind of dog. True, yeah. But he was a bum, so. Well, go to a rescue and get another bum. Yeah, he was, yeah, quite unique. All right, sir. You're right.
