A man from Mason, Ohio, is arrested on explosive charges. Police say 20-year-old James River Phillips was arrested Thursday by the FBI Cincinnati Field Office's Joint Terrorism Task Force after allegedly leaving an improvised explosive device in an outdoor sports complex in December. Officers discovering that homemade explosive said it had wires running from a pile of white powder to a control switch that had a red light on when they discovered it. The FBI says after seizing the device,
the IED detonator exploded. As part of their investigation, police say they were able to use cellular data to track Phillips' phone to the parking lot the day the IED was left there. Sue Guzman, Fox News. Japanese automakers reported to be considering boosting production in Kentucky. Toyota could be producing the next version of its RAV4 SUV in the U.S.,
The current models are made in Kentucky, Canada, and Japan. Reuters says Toyota planned to export the new RAV4 to the U.S. from Canada and Japan. However, adding supply from the U.S. would lessen the impact of 25% tariffs
and would boost supply for a popular model. The new RAV4 would be the first redesigned since 2019. If it is produced in Kentucky, it would probably start in 2027. Toyota says it continually studies ways to improve manufacturing and has nothing to announce at this time. Janique Hoselda, Fox News.
