Back to Butler. I'm Chris DiMeo, Fox News. Former President Trump returning to Butler, Pennsylvania, just 12 weeks after an assassination attempt on his life. For 16 harrowing seconds during the gunfire, time stopped as this vicious monster unleashed pure evil from his sniper's perch not so far away.

But by the hand of providence and the grace of God, that villain did not succeed. The former president making campaign stops in two key swing states this past week, in Michigan and in Georgia. While recovery efforts are well underway in North Carolina, following Hurricane Helene, Fox Weather's Brandi Campbell reports on the latest from Asheville. You have propane cars or train cars that are tipped over on their sides and other propane tanks that

are in the area, tossed around, and they're trying to empty them. So currently burning off the fuel that could take a couple of days, but surrounding this is just a lot of destruction from the water. So right now we are standing just above the Swannanoa River. One of the main reasons we are seeing destruction

Such devastation here. This river rose to up to 26.1 feet last Friday. So now you can see debris in the trees. There are cars in the river. There could be hazards in terms of the water quality. That's something they're working with the EPA to test. And the city of Asheville not recommending drinking creek water. And many residents might have trouble getting access to clean drinking water for weeks.

Russian prosecutors are asking for a seven-year sentence in the trial of a U.S. citizen accused of fighting as a mercenary in Ukraine against Russia. Prosecutors asked the court to take into account 72-year-old Stephen Hubbard's age and said he admitted guilt. They asked that Hubbard serve the sentence in a maximum security penal colony. More exchanges are underway between Israel and Hezbollah across the Israel-Lebanon border. Fox's Trey Yingst has the latest from Haifa Israel. Israel continues to expand its air and ground campaign against Hezbollah in Lebanon. Today alone, we understand, according to the military, that more Hezbollah operatives have been killed, bringing the total to 400 this week. Now,

Now, the Israelis released new images showing what they say are weapons that were recovered from Hezbollah-controlled areas. Active fighting was reported in multiple areas of southern Lebanon amid intense exchanges of fire. It comes as Israeli strikes pounded the Lebanese capital of Beirut overnight.

The majority of the strikes were reported in the Dakhia neighborhood. A Hezbollah stronghold among the dead were paramedics, according to Lebanese media. Now, Iran's supreme leader has also vowed that Israel could attack again if necessary.

Well, a number of pro-Palestinian protests are taking place across the United Kingdom and Europe in the wake of the one-year anniversary of the start of the Israel-Hamas war on October 7th. Fox's Stephanie Bennett reports in London. Well, we've seen many protests here in London throughout the last year, but the Metropolitan Police say today's was by far the largest. All the leaders, listen to your people.

And we want peace in the Middle East and in the world, but listen to your people. London's Metropolitan Police say more than a dozen people were arrested in today's gatherings, and a counter-protest also took place, forcing police to separate the two sides. Over the next few days, rallies are also planned in Berlin, Rome, Edinburgh, Paris, Chile, South Africa, and the Philippines, just to name a few, despite some bans by local authorities. Over in Australia, the Prime Minister called for the cancellation of a pro-Palestinian rally set for Monday.

Similar actions are also taking place across the United States, namely in New York City and Washington, D.C., accompanied by some pro-Israel counter protests. I'm Chris DiMeo. This is Fox News.
