A federal judge sides with Doge. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. Hours ago, a judge declined to block the White House advisory group known as Doge from accessing labor department systems as the group tries to shrink the federal bureaucracy. The judge ruled that the government employees unions who sued to stop access by Elon Musk's group had not shown enough injury to bring the suit.

Earlier Friday, 19 attorneys general sued to stop Doge from accessing sensitive data at the Treasury Department. Asked if Doge needs access to sensitive financial records, President Trump said, Well, it doesn't, but they get it very easily. I mean, we don't have very good security in our country and they get it very easily. Democratic lawmakers are demanding an investigation in the Treasury Department access. President Trump hosted Japan's prime minister at the White House Friday. He spoke at a joint press conference about reducing the $68 billion trade deficit between the two nations and other issues. The president saying these deficits undermine the economy. As we deepen our economic relationship, I made clear that the United States will be conducting trade with all countries based on the principle of fairness and reciprocity.

Adding the two countries are strong allies, and he said they discussed the more than $14 billion Japanese acquisition of U.S. Steel, which was blocked by former President Biden, and said that Japan will make an investment in U.S. Steel. In the ongoing battle over TikTok in the U.S., the app's Chinese owner says it is making Android package kits available on its website for U.S. downloads.

Apple and Google have not reinstated TikTok to their app stores. Researchers are watching movements of what may be the largest great white shark ever tagged. Its last signal comes from waters off of Jacksonville, Florida. It's no baby shark. Researchers are tracking what's believed to be the largest shark ever tagged by OCEARCH in the southwest Atlantic.

Biologists say the great white is nearly 14 feet long, weighs 1,652.8 pounds. It's nicknamed Contender. Tagged January 17th, the information will be sent in real time to researchers, giving them insights into its movements and behavior over the next several years. Contender's last pings were off Florida's East Coast. And if you love the sand and surf of the Sunshine State, experts say don't cancel your vacation since the shark has generally stayed more than 40 miles off the coast.
