100 days in office. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. President Trump just crossed the 100-day milestone for his second term in office with a focus on his policy to secure the border. White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt. In just under 100 days, 99 now to be exact, the president has overwhelmingly delivered on that promise. Senate Minority Leader Democrat Chuck Schumer sees it very differently. It's been 100 days of hell.
Fox's Bill Malusian with more on the White House's argument. It's crystal clear that the Trump administration is most proud of just how quickly they've been able to secure the southern border as illegal crossings and recorded gotaways have both plummeted to record-setting lows. Gataways and Border Patrol apprehensions are both down more than 90 percent from the record-setting highs of the Biden administration.
President Trump plans to mark the milestone with a rally in Michigan Tuesday. In Canada, Prime Minister Mark Carney's Liberal Party won Monday's federal election, capping a stunning turnaround in fortunes fueled by President Trump's annexation threats and trade war. A car smashed through an after-school care facility near Springfield, Illinois, killing four people and injuring several others. Three that were struck outside of the building before the vehicle entered.
And one inside. Several patients have been transferred to local area hospitals by ambulance.

A tornado threat continues overnight as a powerful system slams central U.S. with a tornado watch issued for nearly 10 states from Texas to South Dakota. Fourteen severe thunderstorm warnings, five tornado warnings, one flash flood warning. This got active real quick. 7,400 lightning strikes. That speaks to the instability in the atmosphere.
Fox weather meteorologist Steve Bender. A small plane crashes in Alaska, killing two and injuring a third. And local media report the Cessna crashed south of Homer Monday afternoon. President Trump's trade war with China is likely to limit the number of
items available for this year's Amazon Prime Day. Amazon's July Prime Day sale may be losing some third-party merchants. Reuters says some vendors who previously sold China-made goods for the sale are sitting it out this year or reducing the amount of discounted merchandise they offer. Merchants are looking to protect profit margins during the U.S.-China trade dispute. Participation is optional for Amazon vendors.
A seller consultant tells Reuters the deadline for participating in Prime Day is May 23rd. If third-party merchants pull back, it could mean a more limited selection of discounted items and also that Amazon will collect fewer fees and less ad revenue. Ginny Kosola.
