Kilmar is back in the U.S. and facing prosecution. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. The Justice Department returned Kilmar Abrego-Garcia from El Salvador, where he was mistakenly deported, and a federal grand jury indicts him on human smuggling and other charges. Abrego-Garcia has played a significant role in an alien smuggling ring. He was a smuggler of humans and children and women.
The indictment alleges that Garcia made over 100 high-risk trips where he and co-conspirators at times transported children on the floorboards of vehicles in order to maximize profits. Maryland Congressman Chris Van Hollen, who met with Garcia after he was deported to El Salvador in March, stated this, as I ever.
repeatedly said this is not about the man, it is about his constitutional rights. Fox's Alex Hoth. President Trump says the court should not have forced the administration to bring Garcia back. This as anti-ICE protests in downtown Los Angeles turned violent. Fox's Christina Coleman reports from L.A. that protesters are upset that immigration agents arrested dozens of migrants Friday.
Protesters took to the streets, some of them shoving and yelling at law enforcement, trying to block arrests. Some of them tried to break into and spray paint a federal building. Smoke bombs and flashbangs were used to break up the crowds. DHS told CBS that those arrested had final orders of removal by an immigration judge and had not complied with that order.
And ICE raided seven locations in Los Angeles, including Home Depots. The Supreme Court clears the way for Doge to access sensitive Social Security records. The court's three liberal justices objected, with Justice Katonji Brown-Jackson writing, the decision creates grave privacy risk for millions of Americans. And the Texas Longhorns win their first women's softball national championship, defeating Texas Tech 10-4 in Game 3 of the Women's College World Series.

The man dubbed the devil of the Ozarks is back behind bars. Search teams captured ex-police chief and convicted killer Grant Harden nearly two weeks after he escaped from prison. The Azard County Sheriff's Office revealing Grant Harden was captured approximately one and a half miles west of the prison in Calico Rock, Arkansas, where he escaped on May 25th.
In a statement, officials say his identity was confirmed by fingerprint analysis, adding, we sincerely appreciate the continued support of the community for all law enforcement and Department of Corrections personnel involved in this operation. Known as the Devil in the Ozarks, Hardin, a former police chief, was convicted of rape and murder. Investigators initially thought he may have left the state. Noting his extensive knowledge of the Ozark Mountain region, U.S. Customs and Border Protection had deployed a tactical team to help with the search.
Kristen Goodwin, Fox News. A judge rules employees at a Michigan marijuana dispensary can keep tips left by happy cannabis customers. Timber Cannabis has agreed to pay $205,000 to settle the lawsuit, though it admitted no liability in making the deal. The judge overseeing the case says terms of the agreement appeared fair and appropriate.
Lead plaintiff Bud Tender, Chad Underwood, says he was making up to $150 per shift in tips before management changed course last year and began taking the tip money left in a jar. Underwood and other plaintiffs call that buzzkill. But now 60 employees have reason to feel high as they'll qualify for the settlement. Tom Rigotti, Fox News.
