The judge rejecting the president's position that a foreign gang is invading the U.S. under the Venezuelan government's direction, a legal fight that's on a path to a federal appeals court.

Another legal challenge over student protests and arrests. The University of Texas at Austin and Texas Governor Greg Abbott hit with lawsuits filed on behalf of four current and former students at the school by the American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, which alleges Title IV and the students' fraudulent

First Amendment rights were violated during the mass arrests at a demonstration in April of 2024 against the ongoing violence in Gaza. It alleges there was an arrest quota and police used excessive tactics like tackling protesters and taking the hijab off a Muslim woman. Fox's Lillian Wu, the students want the actions of the school and governor ruled unconstitutional and for any disciplinary actions against the students to be reversed. They're also seeking compensation for punitive damages and attorney's fees.

A New Hampshire teen faces multiple charges accused of intentionally causing a deadly motorcycle accident. John Burke faces reckless manslaughter, negligent homicide, assault with a deadly weapon, and DUI, among other counts, following a crash that left one man dead.

Litchfield police say Burke intentionally chased a motorcyclist, causing him to veer into a lane of oncoming traffic, leading to a head-on collision between Burke's car and another vehicle. Burke suffered minor injuries. The motorcycle rider was found unresponsive on the side of the road and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe Burke was drunk at the time of the Wednesday night crash. An early charge of second-degree murder against Burke was rescinded, with police saying it won't be filed at this time. The burger giant reporting same-store sales fell 1% globally and even more in the U.S., down 3.6%, their worst performance since 2020.
