President Trump also praising his efforts on border security and ongoing trade negotiations with several nations. Earlier on Tuesday, he spoke to reporters. India's coming along great. I think we'll have a deal with India. The prime minister, as you know, was here three weeks ago, and they want to make a deal. We'll see what happens.
Democrats, meantime, giving their own assessment on President Trump's first 100 days, including California Congressman Ted Lieu. Donald Trump's first 100 days have been one of the worst first 100 days of any U.S. president in history. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries striking a similar tone on Tuesday, taking aim at Republican lawmakers. Trump administration has failed and Republicans in Congress are behaving like a useless rubber stamp.
Meantime, an autopsy for Gene Hackman's wife, Betsy Arakawa, reveals new details about her death. Arakawa, who died due to hantavirus pulmonary syndrome, had fluid accumulation in her chest and mild hardening of the vessels that supply blood to the heart and body. Hantavirus pulmonary syndrome is transmitted from animals to humans and is commonly found in rodents. The classical pianists' carbon monoxide levels were within normal range.
And stocks rising again as stronger than expected. Profits keep piling high for companies. On Tuesday, the S&P 500 rose 32 points. It's six straight gain. The Dow rose 300 points. The Nasdaq up 95. America's listening to Fox News.

Republicans are pushing to pass President Trump's agenda, but plenty of challenges are on the horizon, including far-left Democrats poo-pooing the Big Beautiful Bill. Fox's Ryan Schmelz has more. Committee meetings are underway for the One Big Beautiful Bill, containing President Trump's priorities on border, national security, spending, and the U.S.
And tax cuts. House Republicans are trying to cut at least $1.5 trillion in spending without cutting essential services for programs like Medicaid, which conference chair Lisa McClain says won't happen. The only cuts that this bill makes are to the waste, the fraud, and the abuse that are in their bloated bureaucracy.
Republicans are pushing for additional work requirements for Medicaid, but some members say they won't vote for the package if it cuts benefits, which Democrats are warning is likely to happen. On Capitol Hill, Ryan Schmelz, Fox News. President Trump is calling efforts by Doge a success so far. This despite falling short of their cost-cutting goal following a barrage of legal challenges to their efforts.

The substantial part of the cut is coming from a reduction in labor force. They're also saving some grants and programs being called back and eliminated. Now, Elon Musk promised that Doge would take a back seat next month when he returns to do his companies. And his time as a special government employee comes to an end. Senator Patty Murray of Washington and Representative Rosa DeLauro of Connecticut releasing an online tracker compiling all the ways Doge is interrupting the flow of federal funds, often going against the law, they claim.
And Amazon saying they will not, in fact, list the added cost of tariffs on some products prices on their website.
