Another high-profile Trump initiative. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. Three of the world's most prominent names in technology from OpenAI, Oracle, and SoftBank are pledging to invest up to $500 billion to build AI infrastructure in the U.S.,

President Trump says the project called Stargate will help put the U.S. first in AI. We want to keep it in this country. China is a competitor and others are competitors. President Trump announced a venture alongside the tech CEOs. AI holds incredible promise for all of us, for every American. Oracle Executive Chairman Larry Ellison says AI especially holds potential for medical advancements.

The first data center is being constructed in Texas at the White House. Jared Halpern, Fox News. That's just one of the president's near nonstop executive actions since taking office. Among his executive orders, Mr. Trump signed one ending birthright citizenship, though it will be challenged in court, and one pausing refugee admissions and restored the federal death penalty.

The president also ordered his attorney general not to enforce the TikTok ban for 75 days in order to give the administration an opportunity to determine the appropriate course of action. Fox's Kevin Cork. A powerful winter storm tore across the Gulf Coast yesterday, leaving at least 10 people dead in several states, including seven in Texas. A storm also buried New Orleans under eight inches of snow, the most since 1895.

The winter storm brought in gusty winds, blizzard-like conditions on the lakefront of New Orleans, and the state's first blizzard warning issued in southwest Louisiana. At the airport, all flights were canceled, and several interstates, highways, and bridges across southern Louisiana were closed with travel discouraged. Fox Weather's Brandi Campbell. The Supreme Court is about to hear arguments that may mandate courts to consider events leading up to a police officer's use of deadly force. The U.S. Supreme Court takes up a civil rights suit alleging police overuse of force in the deadly shooting of 24-year-old Ashtain Barnes during a routine traffic stop in Houston in 2016.

where in a matter of seconds the stop turned chaotic. A lower court ruled the officer was justified based only on the precise moment that force was used. Plaintiffs are asking the high court to reject what has been dubbed the moment of the threat doctrine that addresses how much time can be taken into consideration when deadly force is used, saying that de-escalation should have been used.

Garth Hudson, the organist who defined the sound of the band, has died at 87. He passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday morning at a nursing home in Woodstock, New York. Hudson was the quiet force behind the band, originally known as the Hawks, who backed Bob Dylan on his legendary 1966 rock tour.

Hudson was classically trained and brought a complexity that bandmate Robbie Robertson, who died in 2023, praised as brilliant in his memoir. In a 2002 interview, Hudson modestly described his role, saying, it was my job to provide arrangements behind good poets. But his unique contributions were not only
