A battle over tariffs and migrants. I'm Ted Lindner, Fox News. The White House saying Colombia has now agreed to take deported migrants after a showdown. President Trump acting quickly, threatening tariffs after his Colombian counterpart blocked migration repatriation flights that were supposed to land there. In a post on his Truth Social platform, President Trump said he's ordering sanctions on Colombia, which turned away military aircraft with migrants that had been deported on board.
President Trump posted he would impose 25% tariffs on Colombian goods entering the U.S., raising that to 50% in a week. Colombian President Gustavo Petro's issue appears to be with the military transport, saying it treats his nation's natives like criminals.
