He's also expected to pardon many people convicted of roles in the Capitol riot. Today, criticizing a series of last-minute preemptive pardons from the outgoing president,
aimed at shielding people who might be targeted in the new Trump administration, including Biden's siblings and former Congresswoman Liz Cheney, who led a January 6th investigation. The now former President Biden giving a farewell speech at Joint Base Andrews. We're leaving office.
