A 7.6 magnitude earthquake shook the Caribbean Sea southwest of the Cayman Islands Saturday. There are no immediate reports of damages resulting from the earthquake. Several islands and countries urged people near the coastline to move inland, but authorities in most places later lifted the tsunami alerts. The National Transportation Safety Board investigating Thursday's crash of Bering Air Flight 445 in western Alaska that left all 10 on board dead. The remains of the victims have since been recovered. Speaking about the investigation Saturday, NTSB Chairwoman Jennifer Homendy says her agency is working quickly ahead of incoming wintry conditions. And please understand that some difficult conditions because this is on an ice flow. The plane went down over the Bering Sea as it was going to Nome, Alaska. It comes soon after a military helicopter collided with an American Airlines plane near Washington, D.C. that left all 67 people dead. The NTSB says all major pieces from both the helicopter and the airplane were recovered on Saturday.
