The body of former President Carter is on the move. I'm Pam Puso, Fox News. A funeral procession for former President Jimmy Carter is traveling by motorcade through Georgia.

Earlier, his body arrived in Archery, Georgia, where a bell was rung 39 times to honor his legacy as the 39th president. Fox's David Spunt has more. We're going to go up to Atlanta. There's going to be a motorcade, and Governor Brian Kemp's going to come outside of the state capitol, pay his respects, and there'll be a moment of silence at the state capitol. Then President Carter will lie in repose at the Carter Center for a few days before going to Washington. Carter died at his home in Plains, Georgia, at the age of 100.

President Biden is set to visit New Orleans after Wednesday's deadly terror attack as critics place blame on his administration's policies. Fox's Lucas Tomlinson has more on that. The president was asked, had he spoken to any of the victim's families? Yes, I have. What have they told you? What have their reflections been? Thank you, press. Thank you.

After an ISIS-inspired terrorist attack on Bourbon Street, critics say the FBI has taken its eye off the ball in recent years, prioritizing issues like grandmothers praying outside abortion clinics over terrorism. Now, speaking to graduates of Howard University back in 2023, Biden said white supremacy was the biggest terrorist threat in the U.S. I followed up in the briefing room. Thanks, guys. Thank you, everybody.

That was Fox's Lucas Tomlinson. Meantime, the first lawsuit in connection with the attack has been announced. A decision's been made regarding President-elect Trump's hush money case sentencing by Manhattan Judge Juan Mershon will happen next Friday. He's indicated he's leaning toward just closing the case without any real punishment. Mr. Trump is vowing to continue fighting the conviction. America's listening to Fox News.

New details about the suspect in the Cybertruck explosion outside Trump Tower in Las Vegas and his possible motivation. Police released portions of the suspect's digital journal recovered in the notes app of a torched cell phone found inside that rented Tesla truck. Police say 37-year-old Matthew Levesberger shot himself in the head while simultaneously detonating the explosives in a tragic case of suicide.

As a serviceman for 19 years, Littlesberger was an active duty member of the special forces. Police saying he likely suffered from PTSD and other personal issues that contributed to his actions. And while police say the suspect didn't hold any sort of animosity towards the president-elect, he did hold some personal and political grievances.

That's Fox's Chanley Painter. House Speaker Mike Johnson has retained his job, but that doesn't mean smooth sailing for President-elect Trump's agenda. House Speaker Mike Johnson won on the first ballot, but three members held out. Thomas Massey of Kentucky, Keith Self of Texas, and Ralph Norman backed Jim Jordan. However, a phone call from President-elect Trump compelled Self and Norman...

to change their vote. The vote underscores how tough it could be for the GOP to manage its narrow majority. That could cause problems passing key parts of President-elect Trump's agenda. House Republicans traveled to Fort McNair in Washington for a set of meetings about using a special parliamentary tool called budget reconciliation to pass their agenda.

Reconciliation deals mostly with spending and taxes, but it can bypass a Senate filibuster. Fox's Chad Pergram. 60 million Americans are now on the path of a major winter storm. It's expected to hammer the central U.S. with heavy snow, significant ice and frigid temperatures. The storm is going to move over to the east over the next couple of days, possibly bringing several inches of snow to the nation's capital. Travel will be treacherous, widespread power outages likely.
