President Trump is about to address world leaders. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News, and he'll do it virtually while they're gathered at a World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, the day after the president warned he could hit Russia with sanctions and tariffs if it doesn't work out a deal to end the war in Ukraine. Now, NATO's leader is also there, concerned about the alliance in Ukraine. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte says members need to spend more money now to shore up their defense.

much more than the previous target of 2% of GDP. He fears the frontline battle in Ukraine is going in the wrong direction, but warns any deal to end the war cannot be favourable to Russia.

As federal agents conduct raids in some cities starting to carry out his plans for mass deportations after record illegal immigration, the president tells Fox's Hannity. This was a gross miscarriage of common sense to allow people to come in. Later today, a legal challenge goes to court in Seattle to block a Trump order that aims to undo something in the Constitution. At least 22 states are suing following President Trump's executive order revoking birthright citizenship. One of those states...

Washington state. As I mentioned, that hearing in Seattle, the state is asking for a temporary restraining order to stop the executive order from being put in place. But ultimately, no question, this is a long game. Changing the Constitution is not an easy feat. Fox's David Spunt, a 10,000-acre wildfire that grew fast yesterday north of Los Angeles appears to be only burning in non-residential areas.

But Fox's Jonathan Hunt reports from Costaic. Just in the last 15 minutes or so, the winds have really picked up here once again. So while firefighters do have the upper hand this morning, they are not letting down their guard. We found out the movie's nominated for Oscars this morning. Emilia Perez leads the way with 13, including Best Picture. They'll hand out the Academy Awards March 2nd.

America's listening to Fox News.

That new wildfire in the Los Angeles area adds to a widespread disaster there that President Trump will get an eye on tomorrow. And it's not the only disaster area he'll go. As the president tells Fox, he wants to reform FEMA and the way we handle natural disasters.

President Trump says FEMA has been getting in the way of states recovering from hurricanes, tornadoes and other disasters. In an interview with Sean Hannity, the president said he plans to have a big discussion about the agency's future. I'd rather see the states take care of their own problems. President Trump pointed to Oklahoma.

is an example. I love Oklahoma, but you know what? If they get hit with a tornado or something, let Oklahoma fix it. You don't need... And then the federal government can help them out with the money. The president travels to North Carolina to tour hurricane damage tomorrow before flying to Los Angeles to see wildfire recovery.

At the White House, Jared Halpern, Fox News. Another Trump nominee has a Senate confirmation hearing this morning. Brooke Rollins is the president's pick to be Agriculture Secretary. Democrats are slowing the process on some nominees but don't have the votes to block any. So far, only Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been confirmed. The president is also getting a new Secret Service Director. The man who led Donald Trump's

Personal security detail during his presidential campaign will now lead the Secret Service, a position that does not require Senate confirmation. Agent Sean Curran, who joined the Secret Service in 2001, praised for rushing to shield then-candidate Trump during an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania last year. President Trump writing on social media, Sean is a great patriot.

who's protected my family over the past few years, and that is why I trust him to lead the brave men and women of the United States Secret Service. The agency's faced increased scrutiny in recent years, and its former director, Kimberly Cheadle, stepped down after the attempted assassination in July in Pennsylvania. Lillian Wu, Fox News. On Wall Street, the Dow's up 170 points, but the Nasdaq's down 40. I'm Dave Anthony. This is Fox News.
