Fox Sports Update. Scenario for Tyrese Halliburton and the Indiana Pacers. According to multiple reports, the Pacers star has a torn right Achilles tendon, which means he'll likely miss all of next season. Halliburton suffered the injury with just under five minutes remaining in the first quarter of Game 7 in the NBA Finals. It was immediately clear that it was serious with Halliburton slapping the floor in pain.

Injuries in recent years, the three-time All-Star hasn't played in 60 games since the 2021-2022 season. And with the NBA season in the books, it's time to look ahead on the sports calendar.
The NBA draft gets underway on Wednesday with the Dallas Mavericks on the clock and former Duke star Cooper Flagg the prize. Major League Baseball's All-Star Game will be played July 15th from Atlanta. While football is starting to creep closer, the NFL's first preseason game is just over five weeks away with the Chargers taking on the Lions in the Hall of Fame game at the end of July, while the college football season kicks off with Week Zero on August 23rd.
