Fox weather from the Fox weather forecast center on meteorologist Nick Koser. Well, the Northeast, including New York City, is experiencing significant temperature fluctuations. The warm temps today will be followed by a sharp drop of around 30 degrees by tomorrow.

Sudden temperature change is due to a retrograding warm front draped across the area. Meanwhile, a spring storm system is moving eastward tomorrow bringing damaging winds, large hail and the potential for strong tornadoes from the heartland to the east coast.

The highest threat for strong tornadoes is from eastern Arkansas to western Kentucky and Tennessee. Finally, wildfires have been affecting North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia since the beginning of the month. A combination of low humidity and gusty winds are keeping conditions prime for the spread of wildfires through tomorrow. Get the latest weather updates.
