Fox weather. Hey there, I'm Fox weather meteorologist Craig Herrera with the latest from America's Weather Center. We've got some warm temperatures over the central plains today. Also some strong winds from Montana down through places like Iowa does bring the relative humidity down and the fire concerns up.

Then to the south of there, we've got scattered showers and thunderstorms from Georgia to Florida and the Carolinas. The strongest storms will be centered over central Florida, where we've got the risk for some severe wind gusts, potentially a brief tornado, and some flash flooding possible near the Florida-Georgia line. Get ready for some severe weather yet again. It is that time of year. This is going to be as we go into Wednesday and Thursday. Some of these strong storms will be across East Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana, with the chance for damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes.

It begins as a storm in California, having impacts beginning Tuesday night through Wednesday with heavy rain for the lower line areas, one to three feet of fresh snow for the Sierra.
