Fox weather. Hi there, I'm Fox weather meteorologist Craig Herrera with the latest from America's Weather Center. This coast to coast storm continues to move to the east today after leaving so much damage across the south and southeast on Tuesday. Now for today, some of these stronger storms from Florida, Georgia will move into the Carolinas.

and mid-Atlantic through the rest of the day and this evening. Some of those strong damaging wind gusts could reach 50 to 60 miles per hour out of the south, leading to potential power outages. Tornadoes are possible and plenty of rainfall up to two inches of fresh rain. Some scattered showers around the lower Great Lakes today and some of those may become severe with isolated strong wind gusts hailing as tornado possible.

Places where we have blizzard warnings include southern Minnesota, central Iowa, northwestern Missouri, northeastern Kansas. Snow accumulations up to eight inches of fresh snow. And then we've also got some snow melt off of Lake Erie and Lake Ontario from all over the rain could lead to flooding. A new storm will bring heavy snowfall to the Sierra and the Great Basin today.
