Fox Weather.
I'm Fox Weather Meteorologist Stephen Morgan with the latest from America's Weather Center. After record-breaking rain fell across parts of the Mid-South, the flood threat has transitioned from flash flooding to river flooding. There are several rivers that flow into the Ohio and Mississippi where their gauges are forecast to reach moderate, even major flood stage. And given the incredible amount of rain that fell last week,
Even the mighty Mississippi is forecast to reach significant levels, especially around Cape Girardeau, Missouri and Memphis, Tennessee. In the meantime, if you like a warmer spring taste, well head west. If you prefer a cooler one, you might want to migrate east. The Mercury is going to be rising throughout the week in Phoenix. Temperatures each day will warm into the 80s and 90s, even reaching 100 degrees by Thursday.
Highs consistently remaining 10 to 20 degrees above the seasonal average. Get the latest weather updates anytime, anywhere. Download the Fox Weather app at foxweather.com.
