A month ahead of another "vs." movie (with the bitter bat & the arrogant alien), KvK is about as grounded & real as a blockbusting Oscar-winner can get. Dustin Hoffman & Meryl Streep are brilliant as the title characters. This is a very sympathetic movie with a half-dozen perfect, deeply moving scenes.
