Shownotes Transcript

Interview was done February 2, 2022!

I love meeting new people willing to let me in and share their “lemon to lemonade” experience!

This story is about Teresa who experienced a lot of grief with the death of her husband, and suffering a stroke, and now she teaches others how to live life and rise! Some quotes from this interview:

"Help others to see their worth"

"Life is how you react to it"

"There are always going to be challenges"

"Why not me? Be bitter or better"

"You either build yourself or break yourself every day"

"I have to love myself first. Our role in life is to build ourself"

"We are stronger than we know. We can find joy in every day"

"Take care of ourself so we can take care of others"

"Make a list to look at who, and all, that you are"

"Is this going to be a good day or a great day?"

What message do you get from this interview?

ABOUT the LemonAid Stand: Heidi started hosting the LemonAid Stand live radio talk show, over 20 years ago, in 1999! It all came about when Heidi was dealing with thoughts of suicide, inadequacy, and dealing with infertility. She realized as she reached out to others and heard their stories, she would be uplifted and inspired no matter what she was going through. So this podcast has old "Original" shows from that time period. It also has "New" shows that are currently being recorded with new guests. And it has "Update" shows where Heidi reached out to original radio show guests to find out how the past 20 years have been!

Theme song written and recorded by my baby brother Shane!
