All Episodes) Welcome Young Innovator Sonia Patel - inventor of – “C.A.S.B.M.” The C.A.S.B.M allows residents, fellows, and ophthalmic assistants to have access to a unique, affordable, and synthetic training model (which current training methods cannot provide). They can practice on the model whenever and wherever convenient (such as in their dorm or library). Ultimately, our future surgeons will be able to maximize the amount of practice time, limiting possible complications from procedures. Thus, patients can sustain their eyesight without having to visit more doctors to fix complications from previous procedures.
