I was listening to a podcast the other day and the person being interviewed was talking about overcoming the fear of and pain of doing the work when it comes to creating a successful business.

He drew the analogy to what we do at the gym, and it blew my mind.

He pointed out what I know to be 100% true - that when we go into the gym not only do we expect pain and discomfort and failure and setbacks and fear and not knowing exactly what we're doing, but we actually ENJOY those feelings.

When we have a hard workout with a lot of stress on our bodies, a lot of pain and discomfort, and a high degree of difficulty, WE FEEL GOOD.

The guy asked "why can't we have that same mental approach with our business?"

And I was like "you're 100% right!"
