大双：我对二伯的去世感到悲痛，在二伯头七的晚上，我既害怕又好奇他是否会回来。我听到了奇怪的脚步声，看到了二伯的鬼魂出现在我的床前。我假装睡觉，听到了二伯的遗言，以及他对我的嘱托。我被吓晕后，在梦中看到了母亲与二伯的鬼魂对话，醒来后我的性格大变。
二伯：我因为抽烟得了肺癌去世，很不甘心。在头七之夜，我回来看望大双，劝他要好好孝敬母亲，并告诫他不要像我一样抽烟。我告诉大双，阎王爷说我这辈子没做过坏事，下辈子还有机会投胎做人。我嘱咐大双过节的时候记得去我的坟上烧纸钱，贿赂鬼官。
大双母亲：我在大双晕倒后，在梦中与二伯的鬼魂对话，询问他需要什么，并承诺会烧掉送去，让他安心投胎，不要再回来吓唬孩子。我撒米在阳台和门口，希望能够驱赶鬼魂，保护家人平安。
