Win the morning - Win the day! I am a firm believer in consistency and making your life as easy as possible for you. Having a consistent morning routine takes all the guess work out of it. I start my morning by doing these eight simple steps. Reminder that you can create a morning routine that works for you and you dont have to do exactly what I do.   1. My alarm clock goes off at 6 am and I put my foot on the ground. I dont check my phone and go downstairs and into the kitchen.

  2. I drink 1 glass of ice cold water to get my body started & hydrated

  3. I brush my teeth with Toms Spearmint toothpaste to refresh & wake me up

  4. I journal for 15 - 20 minutes every morning. I call this journal dumping where I dont write anything in particular but just get my thoughts out and onto the paper. It really helps clear my mind and creates some space for me to think clearly.

  5. I meditate for 20 minutees every morning. I persoanlly just sit in silence and focus on my breathing & relaxing my body. There are great apps like Headspace, Insight Time & @Laurasiamattingly "Sit Society" that you can use to help walk you through a meditation practice if you are new to meditating.

  6. I read 20 minutes of a self-help/personal development book every morning. I like start my morning off by learning something new and educating myself.

  7. I workout for 45 minutes. I usually would drive to the gym but now that all gyms are closed I have to get creative. I will run, bike, do a HIIT workout or even do yoga. I just like to get my blood flowing for 45 minutes in the morning to start my day.

  8. I come home and take an ice cold shower. This increases circulation, wakes me up and helps boost my immune system. You dont have to take the entire shower on cold but start implementing 30 seconds of cold water to start your day!
