The Miami Hurricanes held their first full scrimmage of spring on Saturday, and it was a great showcase for the top players on the line of scrimmage. Defensive end Rueben Bain was reportedly a top performer and engaged in some great battles with right tackle Francis Mauigoa. Receivers like JoJo Trader, Ray Ray Joseph and Daylyn Upshaw were noted for making nice catches. Defensive backs Xavier Lucas and Zechariah Poyser stepped up and made plays.

The Hurricanes continue to move the needle for the recruiting class of 2026. Miami landed 3-Star offensive lineman Joel Ervin over the weekend, a former Louisville Cardinals commit. Miami is making moves with other O-Line stars like IMG Academy trio Keenyi Pepe, Breck Kolojay and G’Nivre Carr. The Hurricanes continue to move the needle for athlete Derrek Cooper.
