We strive to get better at surrendering to the Lord as believers, but how do we do that practically when we have an addiction. I specifically talk about sexual addictions since they are so common, but this can be applied to others as well. So, unclench your butt cheeks, uncross you eyes, and let's dive in lol

1) Know the difference between a temptation and a stronghold

2) Don't shame yourself. Accept the fact that you're a sexual being and divert (don't suppress) lustful thoughts

3) Recognize patterns and catch yourself before you slip

a) time of day

b) people

c) places

d) types of media consumed (tv, music)

4) Find replacements that work for you

Do not SUPPRESS, but REFOCUS and REPLACE
