优化防疫措施发布春节前夕机票搜索量增至三年最高点

Travel operators say new measures to furtheroptimizeCOVID-19 prevention control across China have triggered a surge in air ticket searches to a three-year high. Zhang Hong has more.

随着中国各地进一步优化疫情防控措施，多家旅游平台上的机票搜索量暴涨至三年以来最高点。记者张泓带来更多详细报道。

Under the new measures released by the State Council, health codes and negative PCR test results for cross-region passengers are no longer required. PCR screening for passengers on arrival has also beenscrapped【废弃】. China Railway also said that from today, passengers won’t be checked for 48-hour nucleic acid test reports or health codes when entering the stations and taking a train.

根据国务院发布的新规定，跨地区流动人员不查验核酸证明、健康码，停止落地检。中国铁路12月7日也表示，对购票乘车及进出站停止查验48小时核酸证明和健康码。

元旦、春节将近，机票和火车票的搜索量出现了大规模增长，广州、郑州的部分热门景区门票预订量激增。

Searches on our websitesoared【飙升】160 percent immediately after the release of the measures, more searches for the period before the Chinese New Yearthat we’ve seen in three years. Searches for scenic spots in cities like Guangzhou and Zhengzhou have also surged by two to three hundred percent.

我们的机票瞬时搜索量增长了160%，其中春运前夕的机票搜索量增长到近三年来的最高点。然后像广州、郑州城市的（景区）门票预订量也增长得比较高，例如广州市景区门票预定量环比上升235%郑州环比增长300%。

The online travel agency says people are more optimistic about their travel plans in 2023 and that the searches for tickets and bookings at tourist destination extend well past the Chinese New Year.

携程表示，人们对于2023年的出行预期趋势非常乐观，这波旅游门票和预订搜索热度有望持续到春节。

快舟十一号遥二运载火箭发射成功

A test communications satellite was launched into space today from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern China. Zhang Yue has the details.

一颗测试通信卫星12月7日从我国西北的酒泉卫星发射中心成功发射升空。记者张乐带来更多详细报道。

A Kuaizhou-11 Y2 carrier rocket launched the VHF Data Exchange System test satellite at 9:15am and entered its planned orbit.The Kuaizhou 11 Y2 carrier rocket is 25 meters long with a lift-off mass of 78 tons. It has a maximum diameter of 2.2 meters. The rocket has a carrying capacity of one ton and a1.5-ton payload into a low-Earth orbit.Composite【复合的】materials are used for its engine and cabin, reducing its weight and increasing its carrying capacity by five times.

上午9点15分，快舟十一号遥二运载火箭将交通VDES试验星顺利送入预定轨道。快舟十一号遥二运载火箭全长25米，起飞重量78吨，箭体直径2.2米。拥有1吨的太阳同步轨道运载能力和1.5吨的近地轨道运载能力。发动机和舱段结构都使用了大量复合材料技术，极大减轻了火箭的重量，使快舟十一号的运载能力提升了5倍。

The composite materials used for the rocket have been increased from 80 to 94 percent, which has greatly reduced its weight. We are working to further improve its carrying capacity to advance the development of the Kuaizhou solid-fuel carrier rocket.

The satellite will be mainly used for communications. It was the 23rd time the Kuaizhou-11 rocket series was used to launch a satellite, according to the launch center.

该卫星将主要用于通信。发射中心称，这次任务也是快舟系列运载火箭第23次飞行。

3.I.O.C. POSTPONES WINTER OLYMPICS 2030 HOST CITY ELECTION

国际奥委会推迟2030年冬奥会举办场地选举

The Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee announced yesterday that the election of a host city for the 2030 Winter Olympic Games will not take place at the 140th IOC Session in 2023 as scheduled.

国际奥委会执行委员会昨天（12/06）宣布，2030年冬奥会举办地选举将不会在在原计划的2023年的第140届国际奥委会会议上如期举行。

Salt Lake City in the United States, Sapporo in Japan, and Vancouver in Canada are bidding for the 2030 Olympics. As the sustainability of winter sports has become a concern due to climate change,in order to ensure proper conditions for outdoor snow competition venues, the commission has asked potential host cities to include verifiablemeteorological【气象的】data that show average minimum temperatures of below zero degrees over a 10-year period that will be likely to continue to the time of the games. The final report of the IOC Coordination Commission for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics was published yesterday, which detailed the achievements of a successful Winter Games.
