1.HISTORIC C919 JET DELIVERED TO CHINA EASTERN AIRLINES

全球首架C919正式交付中国东方航空

The first C919 large passenger aircraft was delivered today to China Eastern Airlines, marking a historic milestone in the country’s aviation industry. The plane is expected to serve its first commercial flight in March 2023. Zhang Hong has more.

我国大飞机事业发展迎来又一个重要里程碑。全球首架国产大型客机C919，今天（12/09）正式交付全球首发用户中国东方航空公司。根据计划，这架C919有望于明年三月初开始投入商业运行。记者张泓带来更多详细报道。

The aircraft’s registration number is B-919A. The“B” denotes that it’s a civilian plane,“919” is the model name, and the“A” means it’s the first one.

首架交付的C919飞机注册号选用B-919A（读B919A），B代表中国民航飞机，919和型号名称契合，A有首架之意。

It’s like a child growing up and now going to join society. For us, as the plane’s manufacturer, the delivery marks a monumental step from the plane’s development and production to commercial use.

要形容的话就像一个孩子，从出生到成长，到今天应该算是大学毕业了，要服务于社会了。交付仪式对我们制造商来讲，是从研制生产到走向运营的最关键的一步。

The plane took a short flight from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Hongqiao International Airport. The aircraft has 164 seats, 8 in business class and 156 in economy. 80 passengers were on the flight today.

这架飞机从上海浦东国际机场到虹桥国际机场进行了短途飞行。该飞机有164个座位，8个公务舱和156个经济舱。今天（12/09）有80名乘客乘坐该航班。

It makes very little noise and it’s comfortable. We hardly felt anything when the flight was descending.

Four more C919 aircraft will be delivered next year to China Eastern. An aircraft needs type, production, and airworthiness【适航】certificates before it can begin commercial flights. C919’s developer said getting a type certificate is the most difficult and it took a long time after the plane conducted its maiden flight in 2017.

明年还将有四架C919飞机交付给中国东方航空公司。一架飞机在商业飞行前需要获得型号证书、生产证书和适航证。C919的制造商表示，获得型号证书是最困难的，在飞机于2017年进行首飞后花了很长时间。

We got a type certificate on September 29th this year. And we got a production certificate 2 months later, which means our manufacturing company can mass produce the aircraft according to the approved design.

我们是今年的9月29日获得型号合格证，两个月之后我们又获得了生产许可证。这张证就是意味着我们的制造厂，可以按照我们型号合格证批准的设计，来持续稳定、不断地生产适航的安全的飞机。

The plane will now undergo【经历】more than 100 hours of empty aircraft verification test flights before March.

该飞机将在3月前进行100多个小时的空机验证试飞。

2.RESTAURANTS STOP CHECKING PCR TEST RESULTS

今起餐厅等不再查验核酸检测阴性证明

As of today, PCR test results are not required to enter restaurants and indoor entertainment sites in Shanghai, but people still need to scan the venue code. Zhang Yue tells us more.

即日起，上海的密闭娱乐场所、餐饮服务场所不再查验核酸检测阴性证明。顾客进店只需扫码，出示健康码绿码。记者张乐带来更多详细报道。

At noon, customers were scanning the venue code to enter a restaurant on Xizang Road in Huangpu District. Wait staff only checked to see whether their health code is green.

We still require our staff to do a PCR test every day for the sake of people’s health.

对于我们自己内部的员工来说，我们还是每天去做（核酸检测）的，因为也是为了大家的安全。

PCR test results are now onlymandatory【强制的】at elderly care, child welfare, hospitals, clinics and schools, as well as places with the special COVID control requirements.

目前只有在养老机构、儿童福利机构、医疗机构、学校，等有特殊防疫要求的场所才需要查验核酸检测阴性证明。

3.NEIGHBORHOOD COMMITTEES PREPARE FOR HOME-BASED QUARANTINE

无症状感染者居家隔离社区落实落细保障服务

Shanghai is now allowing asymptomatic【无症状的】carriers, those with mild symptoms and close contacts to quarantine【隔离】at home should they choose to. They can also choose to quarantine at a designated facility. Zhang Hong tells us more about how local communities are dealing with the new situation.

上海具备居家隔离条件的无症状感染者、轻型病例和密接者，可以选择居家隔离或在指定场所隔离。记者张泓带来更多社区落实新政策的详细报道。

In Minhang, community worker Wang Wenjing brought food to an asymptomatic carrier who has chosen to quarantine at home.

There’s another asymptomatic carrier staying at home in a residential compound nearby. Liu Yi, Party Secretary for the residential area called the subdistrict’s pandemic prevention office, after being notified that the carrier’s antigen test result had turned negative.

附近的另一个小区，也有一名无症状感染者选择居家隔离。该居民区的党委书记刘怡得知其抗原结果已转阴，马上上报街道防控办。

We will assign staff to go to his or her apartment to collect the sample.

The neighborhood committee where Liu works is in charge of 6 compounds with more than 3,000 residents. They’ve set up a designated area for garbage from the households in quarantine. The subdistrict is also asking the elderly about their specific medical care requirements and making plans to ensure those who are quarantined at home can get to a hospital if needed. In Changning District, a close contact was transferred from a centralized quarantine site to his apartment today. The neighborhood committee members accompanied him to his home.

刘怡工作的居委，分管6个小区，3000多户居民。在小区里，物业已经设置了专门区域，放置居家隔离者的生活垃圾。居委还在进一步询问老年人的就医需求并制定计划，确保居家隔离居民可以随时就医就诊。一名长宁区的密接者今日（12/09）在居委会成员的陪同下从集中隔离点转运回家。

We told him the rules he needed to obey and how we can help him during the period. We have also informed neighborhood committee members to be prepared for new situations after the upgraded COVIDprotocols【协议】were released.

As he was listed as a close contact, the quarantine period is 5 days he had already done 3 at a centralized quarantine siteand will do the remaining two at home. Medical staff will collect a sample for a PCR test tomorrow, if the test comes back negative, his quarantine period will be complete.

作为密接者的隔离期为5天，他已经在集中隔离点做了3次核酸测试，剩下的2次将在家中由医务人员上门检测，如果明天（12/10）的核酸结果为阴性，他的隔离期就结束了。
