Good evening and welcome to Monsters Among Us. I am your guide, Derek Hayes. Howdy go schools and goblins. It's a real pleasure to be hosting you here this evening. An evening reserved for the spookiest experiences and the eeriest of encounters.
Now it is a Tuesday, which means tonight's episode has a theme. A theme we are revisiting for a third time now. A collection of calls all about one particular type of peculiar phenomena. A phenomena any one of you can experience, no matter where you are on the planet. All you have to do is step outside, preferably on a dark, moonless evening. Open your mind, open your eyes, and look up to the skies.
Because tonight's topic is UFOs or UAPs or flying saucers, as your granddad might have called them. Whatever name you want to assign them, they're the subject of tonight's episode. So slip on your tinfoil hat and put your pajamas on inside out, because it's time to blast off. And to kick us off this evening, we begin mid-flight.
A domestic trip between Philadelphia International Airport and Miami International Airport down in Florida. Please welcome passenger Lenny to tonight's program. Hey Derek, my name is Lenny and I'm calling from Pennsylvania. I wanted to tell you about this weird encounter that I had last year around March 2020.
I was taking a trip by myself to Miami. I flew out of the Philadelphia airport and I was going to go to the Miami airport. I was meeting up with a friend, but I had to fly alone. And I remember that as everyone gets in the plane, I'm just sitting there. We're probably like 15 to 20 minutes into the flight. And I think the flight is like a little bit over two hours, if I remember correctly. I was sitting at the window seat.
I'm looking out of the window, as you would do if you're sitting in that seat. And it's probably flashed for like, I don't know, a second or two. This like fireball just flew by the plane and it was kind of close. It flew by. And I remember just like sitting there kind of confused. My first instinct was to look around me and see if anyone else saw it.
You know, I had my seatbelt, so I kind of like got up as much as I could with my seatbelt and kind of just looked around, especially at the window sitting on my side of the plane by the window. And everyone seemed like normal. Maybe someone did notice, but they were not freaking out like I was. And I remember just like sitting there and just thinking like, that's really weird. And then once my vacation was over or whatever, I was like,
I came home and I remember just like randomly mentioning that to my boyfriend. I was like, you know, it was really weird. I think I saw this plane fly by my plane like very fast on my trip to like Miami. And he's like, oh, wow, you saw a UFO. I'm like, what? What do you mean? He told me that, I mean, and I don't know if this is true, but I did try to do some research and I think he's right. He told me that planes for like safety reasons don't really fly that close to each other. And on top of that,
They don't all travel at the same speed, but they typically travel at, I guess, similar speeds. So if you see a plane, which I've done before, I've seen another plane from my plane in other trips, you can see the plane and you could tell it's not that close to you. Like it's a noticeable difference. And it's kind of like slow motion because you guys are traveling around the same speed. So it shouldn't be zooming past you.
And he told me that I'm like, you might have a point. It was like extremely fast. It was like, yeah, it should be around the same speed as your plane. So you should have seen it. And it shouldn't have been that close to you. That's like really unsafe.
I don't know. I ended up going through like this rabbit hole and kind of like do all this research to see if what he was saying is true. And I think he's like onto something. Maybe there's like an explanation. I don't know. I mean, you tell me what you think, but maybe I did see a UFO. But it was insane. It was like a ball of fire and it was extremely fast. I feel like if I wouldn't have been looking out the window, I would have completely missed it. And there was no sound or anything. It just zoomed by.
But yeah, thank you for letting me share my story. Thanks for everything and have a good one. Thank you, Lenny. Now I did a little bit of Googling and a commercial aircraft can fly surprisingly close to other aircraft in the sky. As a general rule, any craft below 29,000 feet must maintain a vertical separation of at least 1,000 feet, which is only about three football fields in distance. So not very far.
And it's fair to say that we can't rule out that another airplane could have been in that airspace. But why it would appear as a fireball, that's an entirely different argument. And you know, if it was some sort of UFO that Lenny saw outside of her plane window, she's not the only one to have done so. There are literally dozens of images and videos floating around the web that depict the exact same thing. People catching unidentified flying objects outside their aircraft window.
And I actually linked to a noteworthy example of this out of New York City. A woman was taking a video of the skyline when something dark and cigar-shaped or tic-tac-shaped very quickly shot through the frame. Now you can find a link in the show notes. And I also discussed this particular video over on her Instagram account just a few months ago. It might be time for us to reshare that one.
But the point here being that this sort of experience is happening more and more frequently. So maybe the next time you find yourself cruising the skies, maybe take a minute or two to video out your window. Maybe you'll capture one of these high-flying, fast-moving mystery objects. Until then, thank you again, Lenny, for taking the time to share your story. Now, folks, this next entry comes to us practically live from Tony.
in North Carolina. Hey, Derek, this is Tony from out here in western North Carolina. Well, I'm pretty positive I just seen a UFO. It's cold here, clear sky, not a cloud in the sky tonight. I just got home from work, looking up at the sky. So it's right there next to the Orion constellation. It's to the right, so it's going to be where Orion's bow is.
where his arrow will be at. I was watching that and just looking up at the stars because they're absolutely gorgeous tonight. And I don't know, I seen the light and I'm like, oh cool, look, a shooting star. I sit there and watch it track and I'm like, hold a second, that's not a shooting star. And the next thing I know, it just goes out. Now, could it have been a meteor? Possibly, but it was kind of weird.
because of the way it come in. So the trajectory that it was flying was flying northwest to southwest. So it was coming out and I got a Star Tracker app on my phone and what it does is it'll show the satellites. So when I looked up there and the satellites actually due east of that location right now. So yeah.
That was pretty cool. Like, I've seen shooting stars here all my life, so I know what they look like. And I've seen a few meteor showers, so I know what they look like. This one was just flying straight. Like I said, it had come out northwest. It was flying southwest. It was bright, beautiful, and then nothing. It just went out. Love the show. Keep up the good work. See you, brother. Thank you, Tony.
You know it pays to look up when you're outside at night. You never know what you're gonna see. And you never know what you're gonna hear tonight either. Because these UFO sightings don't stop at strange lights in the sky. We've received reports of all sorts of different shaped craft in all sorts of different places. And we even have a run-in with the occupants of one of these objects. But more on all that right after this quick break.
Doesn't matter if it's a major engine repair. Smackers? Like, you know, people would see that. Let's...

Taxes and fees extra. See Mint Mobile for details. For the most part, tonight's calls seem to break down into three separate categories. The first being strange lights in the sky. No real definition, just unusual lights acting erratically against the night sky.
The second category is signs of intelligence. The light or the craft seems to maneuver around objects or otherwise show signs that whatever it is, it's not just floating around up there. It has a goal and it seemingly has awareness. And our third and final category this evening is contact. The object or its occupants attempt to make contact with a witness or witnesses following a witness around.
or even making contact by way of an alien abduction. I tell you, this is where the creepy stuff really comes in. So to get back to our list and our next entry, we head to a place that I used to know pretty well. Justin from Wyoming. Welcome to tonight's program. Hi, my name's Justin. I'm from Casper, Wyoming. This event occurred December 2021, 2020.
middle of the month. It was night. It was probably around midnight. I was up in the mountains. We have Casper Mountain here right by town. I was up in the mountains and I was on the deck of my porch. I was just looking at the night sky. It was super calm, clear, no clouds. Just that kind of like dead, cold silence, you know, middle of winter.
And I was just outside just looking at the stars because it was so calm and the stars were so bright. There's no light pollution where I'm at to ruin anything. And I'm watching satellites and stuff like that. And I have a set of binos with me, you know. Occasionally I'm glassing like some different satellites that I'm seeing. And then I see this
but it's odd because it's not traveling the way that they normally travel. It's kind of coming from the north and it's moving towards the southeast. But it's moving at the same speed as what a satellite would move at, but I definitely, you know, notice it as kind of being abnormal. I'm like, oh, that's interesting. It's moving in an odd direction for the satellites that I see up here. No sooner did I think that than it stops moving
and shoots completely across the sky. I mean, one second it had moved from horizon to horizon and was just gone in a streak of light. I've seen plenty of shooting stars and I mean, it moved as fast or faster than any shooting star I've seen, but I've never seen one go from moving like a satellite to shooting completely across the sky.
Thank you, Justin. Yeah, it's true, satellites don't usually stop. That's not how they're designed.
And they certainly don't shoot off across the sky either. I don't think anything we have can physically do that. And because of this, I have no idea what it was that Justin saw that night. But I am very grateful that he took the time to share the tale here with us. Now folks, if you have a story you would like to share here on the program, give our hotline a call at 888-608-NIGHT. That's 888-608-N-I-G-H-T.
Hi Derek, this is John from Crestline, California. This story takes place in early fall 2011.
We had just moved into our new house, and I decided, you know, I'm going to take a walk through our new neighborhood. And as I'm walking, I remember feeling like the temperature was just perfect, around 70 degrees, and it was eerily quiet. I mean, there was not a sound. It was almost perfect. And I'm just getting down the street from my house, and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, this white...
probably 15, 20 feet wide, maybe 100, 200 feet right over my head. Just starts floating across the sky above me, not making a sound, moving at, I'd say, a clip about 20 miles an hour. I can see probably a good 20 miles out into the high desert from where my house is, so I can see a long ways. I'm following this ball floating across the sky above,
And I'm watching in disbelief. There's nobody out. I'm out there by myself. But it gets out to this area called the Pinnacles behind Lake Arrowhead, which is kind of an eerie area. But I see it, and it gets over the Pinnacles, and the ball just disappears. I mean, almost like it went into a portal. I have no idea. I just see it disappear. I'm looking around. There's nobody around. I'm the only one that sees this.
I'm just in disbelief and in shock. I go and tell my wife about it. She's indifferent about it. But I say, you know what? This ball had to have went over the whole town of 10,000 people. Somebody's seen this. I'm going to look on social media the next day. Not one mention of it. Any time since. So...
Thank you, John, for the entry. Now this one is especially interesting to me, because if I were watching the skies the night of this encounter, I most likely would have been able to see the object that John was reporting.
You see, I have a peekaboo view of that flight path from my studio window, and I can clearly see the area in which this thing seemingly disappeared. A place called the Pinnacles. A very desert-y looking outcropping of rocks about five miles from here, as the crow flies. But unfortunately, I did not live up here in 2011. So, just like everyone else, sans John, I missed it.
But I can say that there are weird things in the sky up here all the time. There's also a lot of air traffic up here, which could lend to some confusion. But thanks to John's report, I now know to keep my eyes open even wider. And as the weather gets warmer, I might even pop over to Pinnacles some night, just to see if anything shows up. Until then, we thank you again, John, for sharing that local entry.
Now folks, it's time for yet another entry. This one comes to us from the swamps and bayous of Louisiana. Rick, welcome to the program. Hey Derek, this is Rick from New Orleans. First off, I am from New York originally, and when I was about 9 or 10 years old, me and some friends were playing baseball. We lived...
in the northern section of Brooklyn. We lived in a project, so there were buildings all around. And I was in left field running back to get a ball. And when I looked over one of the buildings, it was a red-orange-colored cigar-shaped UFO. And this was like in the early '60s, mid-'60s.
And I was kind of the only one that saw it because I was out there. And I have a pretty interesting new one. I was looking through my phone and didn't realize I had this. On March 6th, I was outside, obviously, filming the moon or doing whatever I was doing. I don't even remember filming this. However, there is a minute and 48 seconds of UAP footage
flying due east of me. I live about four miles as the crow flies from New Orleans in Metairie, Louisiana. I was looking due east. The moon was up at about a 45 degree angle. There were wispy clouds going by and there was a white orb that came into the picture. So I just stood there and I let it do its thing.
And between the wispy clouds and the moon, you could see it was behind the wispy clouds. And it started dancing around, up and down, you know, slight movements. And I have a minute and 48 seconds of it where it dashes out of picture. I think it's gone. And next thing you know, it's right back again. Split second. It was back into the picture again.
Thank you, Rick. Now, I think it's important that we take note of the details of that first sighting. The cigar-shaped object...
That's not the first nor the last time we'll be discussing that particular shape tonight. It's certainly something you want to keep in mind as we move forward. And as for that second sighting, we looked for the video but we don't believe that Rick ever sent it in. So if you happen to be tuning in, Rick, please do send us the video. And if it's too big to email, you can always upload it to YouTube and send over a link. Either way, we would love to lay eyes on this thing.
Because not only does it sound like it's right up our alley, but it also sounds a lot like what John in the previous call just described. So for now, we'll keep waiting for that video. The news stations might ignore you, Rick, but we'll certainly check it out. Now that email is monstersamonguspodcast at gmail.com. And if for some reason it doesn't work, Rick, shoot me an email telling me so, and I'll figure out a way for you to text it over.
we won't let technology stand in the way of a good ufo video timing is everything if you buy the a trash bag a pair of gloves in a few minutes

Now, if you will, let's move on to the next subcategory. My own sort of close encounter scale, if you will. Intelligent control. And here to kick that segment off is Brittany from Parts Unknown.
Hi, Derek. My name is Brittany, and my story takes place in 2012. I grew up in Santa Clarita, California, and I played travel softball growing up. So I was in high school at the time, my freshman year, and I was constantly traveling all around different cities for the softball tournaments and the softball camps. And
We were on our way to a UC Davis travel camp. I'm in the car, it's just me and my dad. We're driving to UC Davis and this is a very long drive. Somewhere along the way, I ended up falling asleep. It's just, you know, country roads everywhere, like farm, crops.
There's not a lot going on at all. I'm dead asleep in my dad's driving. We're on this road. I believe there's two lanes going one direction, two lanes on the other side going the opposite direction. My dad wakes me up. He taps me and he goes, Hey, Brittany, I don't want to freak you out, but what do you suppose that is behind us?
Immediately, you know, I'm kind of freaking out. I look behind me and there are what I can only describe as two giant UFOs along the highway flying in the air right behind us. And they're like kind of separating from each other, flying off very quickly, coming back together,
They're kind of doing this like zigzag formation. They would shoot off what seemed like a mile within seconds and then they'd come back together. And the whole entire time I'm freaking out and I'm, you know, what is that? What is that? What is that? Like, are we okay? My dad is just as chill as ever driving along and he's like, well, there's nothing we can really do about it. I'm like, how is he not freaking out?
But yeah, in my opinion, these were 100% UFOs. There's no other explanation. They were, you know, these big objects the size of cars lit up flying and shooting off very quick speed, coming back together. And I think this went on for, I want to say it was like five minutes. And then they just shot off and they were gone.
Ever since then, I've absolutely believed in aliens because that's what I think it was. And I've had so many more experiences seeing UFOs ever since then. Thank you for listening. And, you know, I love the podcast. Bye. Thanks, Brittany. You know, it sounds like you and your dad caught their attention somehow. Whoever they are. Not something you want to run into on a lonely California highway.
But it is the kind of thing you want to hear about in an all UFO Monsters Among Us episode. So thank you again, Brittany, for giving us the details and the chills. Now gang, when it comes to UFOs, I get the feeling like the more I learn, the less that I know. The mystery seems to deepen with each report we receive. And things that I once thought to be impossible, now simply aren't so.
But I wonder how the rest of the country sees these unidentified flying objects. But to answer that question, Delaney was kind enough to send over a little graph that breaks down how folks view UFOs and aliens. Now the following info comes from a poll of 1,000 people conducted by YouGov America. Apparently, 57% of people believe aliens definitely or probably exist. And that is a robust figure, if accurate.
34% believe that UFOs are alien ships or aliens themselves. And that number is up from 20% from back in 1996. The rest of the survey rounds out claiming that 66% think they are more advanced than we are. 35% believe that they will be hostile to us if they were to ever make contact. And 42% believe that we will make contact in the next 200 years. So what do you think folks?
Are we in danger? And do you think contact will be made within your lifetime? Well, maybe information from another call will help us get those answers. So for this next one, we head to the land of enchantment. Please welcome Randy to tonight's show. Hello, Derek. My name's Randy. I'm from New Mexico. I live on the reservation about 23 miles north.
northeast of Los Alamos. I'm calling to talk about UFOs, lights I see at night. I know New Mexico's famous for that, but there hadn't been much till maybe the 90s that my father started seeing some. And lately I can see maybe three times a week when I care to look. And I know that sounds unbelievable, but it's
Not that they're up close. It's that they're really high up and I've seen satellites. I know the difference. I've got a few video recordings of it, but I'll talk specifically about what I saw two weeks ago. I went outside to let the dogs out. I was just looking around like I normally do to look at the stars because they're so beautiful out here outside of the city limits. And I saw this
what was an obvious helicopter, but there were three lights that were white blinking and an orange light that was following those three blinking very erratically, ununiformly as the helicopter, because I could hear the rotors. But what was different about this was that the other lights disappeared from behind the helicopter and went to in front of it,
And that's when the helicopter changed direction. So at least they must have seen it. And that's when I ran inside and I got the phone to take a video. And I got a little bit of it, but it was insane how it happened so quickly. And I see these things very, very often lately. Before, I had only seen one about 10 years ago. And again, it's always late, late at night.
And that was the closest that I've seen. Normally, I see things way, really, really high in the atmosphere. And they blink with like, almost looks like jellyfish and deep sea creatures you see underneath in the deep ocean. So I did see what was a video on the UFO Reddit that showed something very similar, but really up close from a passenger jet.
Thank you, Derek, for all you do. Keep up the awesome work. Thanks. Thank you, Randy. Now, per usual, send us the video if you happen to have it. We would love to share with everyone. And perhaps someone out there watching it will know exactly what was videoed that day. And we've obviously heard stories of biological UFOs, or living UFOs as they're sometimes called. Sky whales, sky rays, gargantuan gliders...
These things really need a catchier name. But regardless of what you call them, most of the reports that describe them include the same bioluminescent effect that the objects that Randy saw seem to display. Whatever all of that is worth. But New Mexico is a UFO hotbed. So keep filming whatever these things are, Randy. And if you can get us the footage, we promise to get it out to as many people as possible. Maybe we can get to the bottom of this little mystery.
And thank you again for sharing the submission. Now the next entry that I have for you comes to us from Dani over in New York. Hi, my name is Dani. This sighting was a UFO sighting. It actually happened in Buffalo, New York. It was when I was a kid. I couldn't say exactly how old. Probably like 10 years old. I remember being outside playing with my cousins. And we called my uncle outside. We seen...
these lights in the sky and it was a clear sunny day so it was really weird to see stars out and they were bright enough to see with the sun right there. They were a triangle shape and I just heard someone's entry about the Washington sighting the triangles and all those other ones you played. Anyways it was broad daylight. We were just kids we didn't know what they were. It didn't look like an airplane there were no trails or anything like that that could indicate an airplane but they were in a triangle shape
Thank you, Danny. Now, a daytime UFO sighting is probably much more rare than a nighttime one.
At least I would imagine. Which would make Danny's experience that much more unique. But unfortunately it's so unique that I can't even compare it to another reference. I've heard about many triangle UFO reports but none of them during the day. And none of them describing the craft moving in the same strange manner that Danny just detailed.
which is my way of saying your guess is as good as mine, Danny. But we really appreciate you taking the time to share the tale. Now we're going from a Danny to a Dan. Please welcome Dan from Illinois.
Hey, my name is Dan Tansky. I was born and grew up around the Chicago area and I'm an old man now. I was born in 1971. I talk about weird things because I have experienced weird things, but it all started when I was a little boy. My parents bought a home, the only house I've ever known as a kid. We didn't move around a lot.
but it was on the south side of Chicago near Midway Airport. When I was, I think, about four or five, I was out in the gangway. They have gangways that separate two houses that are almost on top of each other. I was riding my little bike. I looked up. Was it a UFO? It wasn't a ghost, maybe. It was a plane, and I could see the bottom of it, and it shook, and it was so loud it hurt my ears. It shook the area up.
It was terrifying. And I still remember it. It's such a vivid memory. I know people lose memories as they get older, but no, this one was so vivid and traumatic for me. I could see where the landing gear was stored. You know, I could see the spot in the plane was where the landing gear came out. Anyway, I'm terrified because, you know, it's a plane. It's a giant plane and I'm just a little person.
I ran the house and my parents, being my parents, they were unimpressed. There was no noise. It didn't shake the house. And I was always startled by that until I grew up and found out what happened around Midway Airport in '72. We were very close to where the plane crashed and it may have gone over a house. I think it did, but
like i said in 72 i would have been one and i was five at the time but that's my story that's the beginning of the madness take care of the show bye well dan you threw us for a bit of a loop there and might have laid the groundwork for a brand new explanation as to where these things might be coming from perhaps they're not from space perhaps they're not even flying saucers
Maybe they're just a time slip of a future past event. Or maybe a ghost of those same past events. That is certainly an interesting way to look at it. Either way, there is something unusual about this call and I kind of like it. Thank you again, Dan, for sharing the phone call. Now I have yet another UFO story to share with you. After all, 4 in 10 Americans have claimed to have seen a UFO.
So as a result, I have lots of these stories at the ready. And here with the next one is Jared, also from the land of Lincoln. Hey Derek, this is Jared. This story comes from Blackport, Illinois and is...
when my dad was a kid, so it would have been late 50s, early 60s. Now, one of the reasons I know for a fact that there is other life out here is because of my dad solely. My dad is the most honest man I've ever met in my life. He's the hardest working man I've ever met in my life. I wish I could be half of him. He's a stand-up guy. Comes from generations of farmers.
I believe him. So anyway, he was about 13 years old. They just got done working in the field. And his dad and his grandpa were sitting there eating watermelon after they got done in the field. And what he says is he looked like a cigar with orange light. Came down, landed in the field. His grandpa and his dad told him to stay there. They ran after it.
and it shot up quickly as it could up into the sky and was gone. When they got back, they told him to never speak of it again, obviously because people would think that you're crazy. So I know that there's something else out there just from that story alone, but thank you. Bye. Thanks, Jared. I love an older encounter story, and this one was certainly one of those. Also, I can't help but notice the use of that descriptor again.
cigar shaped. That detail just keeps popping up. And I have more examples of that weird detail coming up right after this quick break. I'll be right back. This is hounding you for thousands of dollars. I can say this.

Now folks, for our third and, in my opinion, spookiest category, contact. Stories about one of these things attempting to, or succeeding in, contacting a member of the human race. And to jumpstart this segment is a call from Canada.
A call that begs the question, can it be considered contact if you don't remember it happening? Please welcome Calvin to the program. Hello, my name is Calvin. I'm from British Columbia, Canada. And this story is from like 2019, 2018-ish. It takes place on a road trip.
to a small little town, quite popular in the area, Kelowna, British Columbia. So me, my brother, and my mom, and one of my mom's friends were on our way to Kelowna, and we were all out of the car walking our dogs, and we saw a little gray, tic-tac-shaped aircraft
Slowly flying across the bright blue honey-based sky, which, you know, maybe it was a plane, but we didn't see any wind. You know, not the craziness occurrence. It did seem like something, to me. Later on the same trip, it was totally night. Since the tic-tac-tac thing, we hadn't had any interaction with anything, but all of a sudden...
On our way back in the middle of the night, blue and orange-ish light started glowing all around our car. It was just so weird. Like, I don't remember much of it. By this time, my mom's friend had left, but me and my mother, we can clearly remember it. It was just so odd. But my brother has no memory of it for whatsoever. Like, he tells me that he does not remember this.
He sometimes acts like he does that, making my mom happier about it, but I don't think he remembers it. And it turned out we maybe thought that it could have been Aurora borealis, which once every year or so it's visible in the area, but that's all I have to say. Thank you. Have a great rest of the show. Thank you, Calvin. Now I'm about to dive down a hypothetical rabbit hole, so hear me out here.
What if they only let you remember as much as they want you to remember? The abductors, that is. And what if it seemed like the strange lights were following you? Because they were. And those strange blue and orange lights seen later in the evening. Maybe that was all part of the abduction experience. And maybe you all remember it differently because your memories were changed, wiped, or screened at different points of time in the evening. So in other words...
What if this was all just an alien abduction experience? Now, I certainly don't want to fill you with paranoid thoughts, Calvin. This is merely a what-if situation. But that said, some of the signs are there. And where there's smoke, there's sometimes fire. Either way, we truly appreciate the call and whatever it was that went down. I hope for your sake, it was a one-time experience. Now, I have yet another...
several more actually, calls to share with you here tonight. And I want to make sure that we have enough time. So I'm just going to jump right into this next one from Jennifer down in Texas. Hi, this is Jennifer out of Texas. And this is actually my mother's story. This is when she was a teenager back in 1961. She was about 16 at the time. Up in Oklahoma, actually was around Tonka City, about 10 miles out in the country.
It was on a fall night around 9 or 10 p.m., and some friends of hers were all in the car out in the country, just, I guess, driving around, and they happened to see what I guess they can describe kind of like that tic-tac UFO that you're seeing now, like with the Nimitz, but it actually had come down from the sky like a big bright light, and it kind of caught their attention, so they stopped the car. They looked out over to their left, and...
It was hovering about three feet off the ground. She said it was kind of like a white color and it was flat on the bottom, but it was kind of curved over the top, almost like a cigar shape. And while she was watching, the door actually, it was off center, swung open and a really, really bright light came out of the craft and
And she could see things moving around in there, but couldn't quite tell what it was. I think she was describing maybe about 30 feet away. It was pretty close, so they could kind of see it fairly well.
But she said it was so bright, the light coming out of the object, that she could not see what was in it, but she could tell there were things moving around. And it was hovering, like I said, three feet off the ground. And it was kind of not like a still hovering, but it was kind of like floating around off the ground, like kind of floated up and down and moved kind of side to side. What was really interesting about it was there was no sound whatsoever. It was completely quiet.
And they watched, like I said, about 20 minutes and they were kind of getting scared. And about that time, the craft started slowly float upwards. Then before long, it just zoomed off so fast. It was like your eyes blinked and it disappeared. This is her story and she wanted to get it out because she wanted to make sure she didn't forget it.
Thank you, Jennifer. Another older experience. And another craft of a similar description. There's not a big difference between the tic-tac shape and a cigar shape, in my opinion. Other than maybe the latter would be a bit longer in length.
But really, is there that much of a difference? And those things moving around inside the mysterious craft, dare we assume that those could be aliens? Or at the very least, pilots of whatever this thing was. Now, I'd love to discuss this experience further, but I still have a couple of stories I want to work into tonight's lineup. So for now, I'll simply say, thank you again, Jennifer, for sharing your mother's experience.

I'm going to be straight with you. This next story is a little bit weird. Just so you're prepared. Anonymous from Colorado. The mic is yours. Hi there. This is Anonymous. I'm calling from Colorado.
I was active duty Army. I was taking part in a training exercise at the National Training Center in California. That was my first time there, and I was working directly with a different sergeant who had just been transferred to our unit. And when we first got out to the box, we were supposed to be
pulling guard on a whole area that was just on relish them for the time that we were going to be out there with the other units. So basically playing war games with the deckers. So we were out there and our duty was to pull guard on this ammo until the next morning when the OCs, who are the people that are out there watching over us, play these war games.
So the sergeant and I were sitting in our truck and we were facing towards the
the ammunition that we're watching which coincidentally is facing also this one side of this mountain range so while we're sitting there we're just talking and you know the sun's starting to set starting to get really dark right it's super dark in the desert right you can see everything and we're just outside the bubble of vegas so we're watching the sunset and everything as it starts to get dark
I know the second sergeant is already sleeping. And now it's time for me to stay awake. So I'm sitting there and I'm looking at the side of his mouth. I'm reading my book and I'm also like periodically poking my head up and I'm looking at these crates and things. And so I see these lights. Now, mind you, where we're facing, we're not facing towards basically the action. We're facing away from where all the other units are.
So we're facing directly towards this mountain. We're in the far corner of the box where all the stuff is. And I'm facing this mountain and I start seeing lights. Sporadic flashing lights at first, but then they start to become more...
I guess you'd say. So one would be like in the top right-hand corner blinking, one, two, three. Bottom left-hand corner, one, two. Top right-hand corner, one, two. Bottom right-hand corner, one. There were a total of seven lights that were out there, different colors, red, green, orange, blue. And then they were blinking all around the site.
And then they stopped blinking after about, I don't know, probably about an hour or two of me watching this just fascinating. I'm like, ooh, what are they doing up there? Because I'm really concerned. Like, why are the soldiers over there lost beside the mountains? I was told we were the furthest one away. So I'm looking, and then all of a sudden, these lights line up, blink all together. Now they're blinking white, and then they shoot straight up in the air.
This is after they had lined up and were kind of like, it looked like they were going sort of like in a line, like you would see people hiking down the mountain. It was like a straight line, like razor thin, and then they shot straight up in the air. I didn't see like a shadow or anything that told me they were part of like a bigger unit, but they were definitely individual lights that I had seen.
I, at one point, had woken up the sergeant, and he was just like, oh, yeah, that's just the soldiers over there. Didn't pay me any mind. So I didn't think too much of it. I just thought that was just kind of weird. But, you know, I'm out here. We're playing more games. I'm at least part of it, right? I'm still young. I don't know this life. So I get home for the holidays that year, and my grandfather, who was Navajo, asked me about what I see in the desert.
So as I'm telling my grandfather what's happening, because he knew where I was, he asked me, well, where did you see the light? So I let him know where I saw the light. And he asked me, what were the lights doing? So I'm telling him the whole story. And then he looks at me and gives me like this strange kind of look and was like, don't ever follow those lights. Don't ever go with those lights. I don't care what they say to you. I just kind of looked at him like...
Thank you, caller. Now, I'm going to be honest here again. It's not all that comforting.
To think that our military doesn't seem to know what these things are, or where they're coming from. Although I imagine that even if they did know, they sure as hell wouldn't be telling us. And they likely wouldn't tell 99% of the rest of the military. This is all so much easier to control, if no one knows about it. Not that I think they have control over any of this, but these are my opinions.
But you know, this story does pose a few questions that another poll that Delaney sent over just might answer. Now, the following info was pulled from a Pew Research survey conducted back in June of 2021. Over 10,000 participants were surveyed.
And according to their data, 51% of our country believes these craft that our own government claim are real do not pose a threat to our national security. 36% only consider it a minor threat, while only a mere 10% consider it a major threat. I think I'm certainly in the minority here. And I could read polls and statistics to you all night long, but you're here for the stories.
So let's get to the next and final entry of the evening. One that explores just what actually happens when you make contact with one of these things. So if you would, please welcome Jay to the platform. Long time listener, first time caller. Jay from Detroit area. And I've had a lifetime of weird experiences. I guess you would just call it high strangeness experiences. Doesn't really seem to be
rhyme or reason to it, but you know what's going on for as long as I can remember. I'm not really sure what this is and I've never really expressed it before. One thing I can remember seeing at a very very young age was this brightly covered giant UFO pulling straight up out of the woods in Norburn, Michigan. Super brightly colored. Looked like it was straight out of Encounters of the Third Kind. It wasn't a dream.
There was a girl with me who saw it, and we looked at each other and both decided to go home as soon as we saw this pull out of the woods. Another time, so me and my friends used to spend a lot of time spending the night outside in a tent. And I can remember sometimes we would hear bipedal footsteps around the tent, and there was never anybody there. I think we always assumed that it was an adult or someone checking on us.
to make sure we were okay. But they never came in the tent and we never saw their shadow. So who knows what that was. Anyway, I remember the first time that I spent the night with some friends out in their backyard next to the woods. I suddenly got this flash of us running down the street in the neighborhood barefoot. And behind us was this giant UFO. And we knew that they were coming for us.
just as I realized I was not going to get away from it, I woke up in the tent and it was morning. It was daytime and my friends were kind of waking up suddenly as well. We were all quiet for a moment and you could tell that we were all kind of disturbed. And I explained this weird, scary dream that I'd had. And one of my friends looks at me and he said, oh, you had a dream about that too. And I've never known if he was just
trying to heighten the tension or the fear that I felt, or if we really all had dreamt that we were being pursued by aliens. Anyway, over the years, these kinds of dreams would continue. I would see them in the house. I remember seeing a mantis-type creature, and usually it was a gray-type creature.
I don't know if, you know, maybe I had just seen the movie Communion really young and the images were stuck in my head or something like that. And that's the reason why I saw greys and mantises or, you know, maybe they were just stuck in my mind. I always thought they were dreams because sometimes they didn't make sense. There was one time where I dreamed that the aliens were coming to collect us all individually one by one.
And when they came and collected me, they hooked me up to this machine and downloaded my brain and my essence onto like a MIDI computer chip because I like electronic music. And they were downloading my song onto this music computer chip. And then when they were done, they installed it back in my brain. And we listened to the song that my mind had made.
And it was awesome. It was an awesome song. And the aliens were all dancing and we were having a good old time. And then I woke up. You know, sometimes it was really weird like that. So I always just assumed that it was something my mind was creating. But after my children were born, you know, somehow I knew when my children were born that I was going to start experiencing some high strangeness activity again. And I did. And one of the things that came out of that is...
from the birth of my first child, I wake up automatically sometime between 3 and 4.30 every night and I can't get back to sleep. And so I just give up and I get up and it occurred to me about a year and a half into it that I guess subconsciously I'm patrolling the house. I think that's what's going on. I'm getting up and making sure everything is all right. And so somehow my kids could sense that I'm awake at this time and they started getting up with me.
And there was one morning, I was sitting there and my oldest son came out and he sat on the couch with me. And so we were just watching some YouTube. I don't let him watch YouTube too much. Usually it's just like how stuff's made or something interesting that I want to teach him about. So we're sitting there, we're watching a YouTube video and this weird ad comes on and it's got this weird electronic music and it's just an orange screen
and it's got a picture of a great alien holding a needle. And it goes on for way too long. I'm thinking it's weird. It's unclear what it's advertising. There's no link to buy anything. It's just this orange screen with a great alien and this weird music. And I can see my son is uncomfortable. He's looking down. He's looking away.
He looks scared. So finally, after like two minutes of this, I'm finally able to skip this ad, never able to determine what it was selling. And I look at my son and I said, hey, buddy, you seemed kind of nervous. Do you know what that was? And he nods his head. And I said, okay, what was that? And he looks me in the eye and he says, that was a doctor. And that really shook me. Um,
I didn't expose my kids to a bunch of paranormal or alien shows or anything like that. Like, there's no context in which he should have known or had the idea that that thing was a doctor. And so now I'm left wondering how much of those dreams were dreams or if there might be something more to it. My oldest is now five years, and I've been...
Getting up at 3:30 or 4:00 or 4:30 every night for that entire time and I guess I expect that to continue anyway Like the show great job with everything. Thanks Creepy stuff Jay. Thank you for sharing So what do you think your folks is all this activity linked somehow? Was it all simply a dream or are these bits and pieces of Jace memory slowly coming back? I
Or is it possibly bits of a screened memory, slowly falling away? And sure, there's a chance all of this could just be an eerie coincidence. There's always that chance. But there's also a chance that there is something bigger at work here. Something, perhaps, from out of this world. Now that's going to do it for us tonight, folks. And a big thanks to Jay once again for calling in. And a huge thanks to all of tonight's callers.
