The new temple is slated to be built in a neighborhood not zoned for this type of structure. With concerns over traffic, dark skies, height requirements, and more, a group of citizens have formed “Preserve Our Cody Neighborhoods” to try to relocate the temple to a more appropriate site. The fight is heating up and emotions are high as the church filed two lawsuits and threatened to bankrupt the city with legal action.
